Jeremiah 36
1 And it was in the year fourth of Jehoiakim [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah it came the word this to Jeremiah from with Yahweh saying.
Y aconteció en el cuarto año de Joacim hijo de Josías, rey de Judá, que vino esta palabra a Jeremías, del SEÑOR, diciendo:
2 Take for yourself a scroll of a document and you will write to it all the words which I have spoken to you on Israel and on Judah and on all the nations from [the] day [when] I spoke to you from [the] days of Josiah and until the day this.
Tómate un rollo de libro, y escribe en él todas las palabras que te he hablado contra Israel y contra Judá, y contra todos los gentiles, desde el día que comencé a hablarte, desde los días de Josías hasta hoy.
3 Perhaps they will hear [the] house of Judah all the harm which I [am] planning to do to them so that they may turn back everyone from way his evil and I will forgive iniquity their and sin their.
Si por ventura oyere la Casa de Judá todo el mal que yo pienso hacerles, para que se torne cada uno de su mal camino, y yo perdonaré su maldad y su pecado.
4 And he called Jeremiah Baruch [the] son of Neriah and he wrote Baruch from [the] mouth of Jeremiah all [the] words of Yahweh which he had spoken to him on a scroll of a document.
Y llamó Jeremías a Baruc hijo de Nerías, y escribió Baruc de boca de Jeremías, en un rollo de libro, todas las palabras que el SEÑOR le había hablado.
5 And he commanded Jeremiah Baruch saying I [am] shut up not I am able to go [the] house of Yahweh.
Y mandó Jeremías a Baruc, diciendo: Yo estoy preso, no puedo entrar en la Casa del SEÑOR.
6 And you will go you and you will read aloud in the scroll which you have written from mouth my [the] words of Yahweh in [the] ears of the people [the] house of Yahweh on a day of fasting and also in [the] ears of all Judah who are coming from cities their you will read aloud them.
Entra tú, pues, y lee de este rollo que escribiste de mi boca, las palabras del SEÑOR a oídos del pueblo, en la Casa del SEÑOR, el día del ayuno; y también a oídos de todo Judá que vienen de sus ciudades. Las leerás
7 Perhaps it will fall supplication their before Yahweh so they may turn back everyone from way his evil for [is] great the anger and the rage which he has spoken Yahweh against the people this.
si por ventura caerá oración de ellos en la presencia del SEÑOR, y se tornarán cada uno de su mal camino; porque grande es el furor y la ira que ha hablado el SEÑOR contra este pueblo.
8 And he did Baruch [the] son of Neriah according to all that he had commanded him Jeremiah the prophet to read aloud in the scroll [the] words of Yahweh [the] house of Yahweh.
Y Baruc hijo de Nerías hizo conforme a todas las cosas que le mandó Jeremías profeta, leyendo en el libro las palabras del SEÑOR en la Casa del SEÑOR.
9 And it was in the year fifth of Jehoiakim [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah in the month ninth they proclaimed a fast before Yahweh all the people in Jerusalem and all the people who were coming from [the] cities of Judah in Jerusalem.
Y aconteció en el año quinto de Joacim hijo de Josías, rey de Judá, en el mes noveno, que promulgaron ayuno en la presencia del SEÑOR, a todo el pueblo de Jerusalén, y a todo el pueblo que venía de las ciudades de Judá a Jerusalén.
10 And he read aloud Baruch in the scroll [the] words of Jeremiah [the] house of Yahweh in [the] room of Gemariah [the] son of Shaphan the scribe in the court upper [the] entrance of [the] gate of [the] house of Yahweh new in [the] ears of all the people.
Y Baruc leyó en el libro las palabras de Jeremías en la Casa del SEÑOR, en la cámara de Gemarías hijo de Safán escriba, en el atrio de arriba, a la entrada de la puerta nueva de la Casa del SEÑOR, en oídos de todo el pueblo.
11 And he heard Micaiah [the] son of Gemariah [the] son of Shaphan all [the] words of Yahweh from on the scroll.
Y oyendo Micaías hijo de Gemarías, hijo de Safán, todas las palabras del SEÑOR del libro,
12 And he went down [the] house of the king to [the] room of the scribe and there! there all the officials [were] sitting Elishama the scribe and Delaiah [the] son of Shemaiah and Elnathan [the] son of Achbor and Gemariah [the] son of Shaphan and Zedekiah [the] son of Hananiah and all the officials.
descendió a la casa del rey, a la cámara del escriba, y he aquí que todos los príncipes estaban allí sentados: Elisama escriba, y Delaía hijo de Semaías, y Elnatán hijo de Acbor, y Gemarías hijo de Safán, y Sedequías hijo de Ananías, y todos los príncipes.
13 And he told to them Micaiah all the words which he had heard when read aloud Baruch in the scroll in [the] ears of the people.
Y les contó Micaías todas las palabras que había oído leyendo Baruc en el libro a oídos del pueblo.
14 And they sent all the officials to Baruch Jehudi [the] son of Nethaniah [the] son of Shelemiah [the] son of Cushi saying the scroll which you have read aloud in it in [the] ears of the people take it in hand your and come and he took Baruch [the] son of Neriah the scroll in hand his and he went to them.
Entonces enviaron todos los príncipes a Jehudí hijo de Netanías, hijo de Selemías, hijo de Cusi, para que dijese a Baruc: Toma el rollo en que leíste a oídos del pueblo, y ven. Y Baruc, hijo de Nerías, tomó el rollo en su mano, y vino a ellos.
15 And they said to him sit please and read aloud it in ears our and he read [it] aloud Baruch in ears their.
Y le dijeron: Siéntate ahora, y léelo en nuestros oídos. Y leyó Baruc a sus oídos.
16 And it was when heard they all the words they were in dread each to neighbor his and they said to Baruch certainly we will tell to the king all the things these.
Y fue que, cuando oyeron todas aquellas palabras, cada uno se volvió espantado a su compañero, y dijeron a Baruc: Sin duda contaremos al rey todas estas palabras.
17 And Baruch they asked saying tell please to us how? did you write all the words these from mouth his.
Preguntaron luego a Baruc, diciendo: Cuéntanos ahora cómo escribiste de boca de Jeremías todas estas palabras.
18 And he said to them Baruch from mouth his he proclaimed to me all the words these and I [was] writing on the scroll with ink.
Y Baruc les dijo: El me dictaba de su boca todas estas palabras, y yo escribía con tinta en el libro.
19 And they said the officials to Baruch go hide yourself you and Jeremiah and anyone may not he know where? [are] you.
Entonces dijeron los príncipes a Baruc: Ve, y escóndete, tú y Jeremías, y nadie sepa dónde estáis.
20 And they went to the king [the] court towards and the scroll they had deposited in [the] room of Elishama the scribe and they told in [the] ears of the king all the things.
Y entraron al rey al atrio, habiendo depositado el rollo en la cámara de Elisama escriba; y contaron a los oídos del rey todas estas palabras.
21 And he sent the king Jehudi to fetch the scroll and he fetched it from [the] room of Elishama the scribe and he read aloud it Jehudi in [the] ears of the king and in [the] ears of all the officials who were standing from with the king.
Y envió el rey a Jehudí a que tomase el rollo, el cual lo tomó de la cámara de Elisama escriba, y leyó en él Jehudí a oídos del rey, y a oídos de todos los príncipes que junto al rey estaban.
22 And the king [was] sitting [the] house of the winter in the month ninth and the fire-pot before him [was] kindled.
Y el rey estaba en la casa de invierno en el mes noveno, y había un brasero ardiendo delante de él;
23 And it was - when read aloud Jehudi three doors and four he tore it with [the] knife of the scribe and he threw [it] into the fire which [was] to the fire-pot until was consumed all the scroll on the fire which [was] on the fire-pot.
y fue que, cuando Jehudí hubo leído tres o cuatro planas, lo rasgó con un cuchillo de escribanía, y lo echó en el fuego que había en el brasero, hasta que todo el rollo se consumió sobre el fuego que en el brasero había.
24 And not they were afraid and not they tore clothes their the king and all servants his who heard all the words these.
Y no tuvieron temor, ni rasgaron sus vestidos, el rey y todos sus siervos que oyeron todas estas palabras.
25 And also Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah they had made entreaty with the king to not to burn the scroll and not he listened to them.
Y aunque Elnatán y Delaía y Gemarías rogaron al rey que no quemase aquel rollo, no los quiso oír;
26 And he commanded the king Jerahmeel [the] son of the king and Seraiah [the] son of Azriel and Shelemiah [the] son of Abdeel to seize Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet and he hid them Yahweh.
antes mandó el rey a Jerameel hijo de Hamelec, y a Seraías hijo de Azriel, y a Selemías hijo de Abdeel, tomar a Baruc el escribano y a Jeremías profeta; mas el SEÑOR los escondió.
27 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jeremiah after - burned the king the scroll and the words which he had written Baruch from [the] mouth of Jeremiah saying.
Y vino palabra del SEÑOR a Jeremías, después que el rey quemó el rollo, las palabras que Baruc había escrito de boca de Jeremías, diciendo:
28 Return take for yourself a scroll another and write on it all the words former which they were on the scroll former which he burned Jehoiakim [the] king of Judah.
Vuelve a tomar otro rollo, y escribe en él todas las palabras primeras, que estaban en el primer rollo que quemó Joacim, el rey de Judá.
29 And to Jehoiakim [the] king of Judah (you will say *LA(bh)*) thus he says Yahweh you you burned the scroll this saying why? did you write on it saying certainly he will come [the] king of Babylon and he will destroy the land this and he will cause to cease from it human being and animal.
Y dirás a Joacim rey de Judá: Así dijo el SEÑOR: Tú quemaste este rollo, diciendo: ¿Por qué escribiste en él, diciendo: De cierto, vendrá el rey de Babilonia, y destruirá esta tierra, y hará que no queden en ella hombres ni animales?
30 Therefore thus he says Yahweh on Jehoiakim [the] king of Judah not he will belong to him [one who] sits on [the] throne of David and corpse his it will be thrown out to the heat in the day and to the frost in the night.
Por tanto, así dijo el SEÑOR a Joacim rey de Judá: No tendrá quien se siente sobre el trono de David; y su cuerpo será echado al calor del día y al hielo de la noche.
31 And I will visit on him and on offspring his and on servants his iniquity their and I will bring on them and on [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem and to everyone of Judah all the calamity which I have spoken against them and not they listened.
Y visitaré sobre él, y sobre su simiente, y sobre sus siervos, su maldad; y traeré sobre ellos, y sobre los moradores de Jerusalén, y sobre los varones de Judá, todo el mal que les he dicho y no oyeron.
32 And Jeremiah he took - a scroll another and he gave it to Baruch [the] son of Neriah the scribe and he wrote on it from [the] mouth of Jeremiah all [the] words of the scroll which he had burned Jehoiakim [the] king of Judah in the fire and again it was added to them words many like them.
Y tomó Jeremías otro rollo, y lo dio a Baruc hijo de Nerías escriba; y escribió en él de boca de Jeremías todas las palabras del libro que quemó en el fuego Joacim rey de Judá; y aun fueron añadidas sobre ellas muchas otras palabras semejantes.
