Jeremiah 36
1 And it was in the year fourth of Jehoiakim [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah it came the word this to Jeremiah from with Yahweh saying.
E higa mar angʼwen mar Jehoyakim wuod Josia ruodh Juda, wachni nobiro ne Jeremia koa ir Jehova Nyasaye:
2 Take for yourself a scroll of a document and you will write to it all the words which I have spoken to you on Israel and on Judah and on all the nations from [the] day [when] I spoke to you from [the] days of Josiah and until the day this.
“Kaw kitabu kendo indikie weche duto ma asewacho kuom Israel gi Juda kod ogendini mamoko duto kochakore kinde mane achako wuoyo kodi e ndalo loch Josia nyaka sani.
3 Perhaps they will hear [the] house of Judah all the harm which I [am] planning to do to them so that they may turn back everyone from way his evil and I will forgive iniquity their and sin their.
Sa moro ka jo-Juda owinjo kuom masichegi ma achano mar kelo kuomgi, to giduto ginilokre giwe yoregi mamono; eka anawenegi timbegi mamono kod richo mag-gi.”
4 And he called Jeremiah Baruch [the] son of Neriah and he wrote Baruch from [the] mouth of Jeremiah all [the] words of Yahweh which he had spoken to him on a scroll of a document.
Omiyo Jeremia noluongo Baruk wuod Neria, kendo Jeremia ne wachone to ondiko weche duto mane Jehova Nyasaye osewachone, Baruk nondikogi e kitabu.
5 And he commanded Jeremiah Baruch saying I [am] shut up not I am able to go [the] house of Yahweh.
Eka Jeremia nokone Baruk niya, “An otama; ok anyal dhi e hekalu mar Jehova Nyasaye.
6 And you will go you and you will read aloud in the scroll which you have written from mouth my [the] words of Yahweh in [the] ears of the people [the] house of Yahweh on a day of fasting and also in [the] ears of all Judah who are coming from cities their you will read aloud them.
Omiyo in dhi e od Jehova Nyasaye chiengʼ lamo gi tweyo chiemo kendo isomne ji koa e kitabuni weche Jehova Nyasaye mane indiko sa mane awachoni to indiko. Somnegi ne jo-Juda duto ma biro koa e miechgi.
7 Perhaps it will fall supplication their before Yahweh so they may turn back everyone from way his evil for [is] great the anger and the rage which he has spoken Yahweh against the people this.
Sa moro ginikel kwayogi e nyim Jehova Nyasaye, kendo giduto gilokre giwe yoregi mamono, nimar ich wangʼ gi mirima mikelone jogi gi Jehova Nyasaye duongʼ.”
8 And he did Baruch [the] son of Neriah according to all that he had commanded him Jeremiah the prophet to read aloud in the scroll [the] words of Yahweh [the] house of Yahweh.
Baruk wuod Neria notimo gik moko duto mane Jeremia janabi onyise mondo otim; e hekalu mar Jehova Nyasaye nosomo weche Jehova Nyasaye koa e kitabu.
9 And it was in the year fifth of Jehoiakim [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah in the month ninth they proclaimed a fast before Yahweh all the people in Jerusalem and all the people who were coming from [the] cities of Judah in Jerusalem.
E dwe mar ochiko e higa mar abich mar loch Jehoyakim wuod Josia ruodh Juda, kinde mar tweyo e nyim Jehova Nyasaye nolandne ji duto manie Jerusalem kod jogo mane obiro koa e dala mag Juda.
10 And he read aloud Baruch in the scroll [the] words of Jeremiah [the] house of Yahweh in [the] room of Gemariah [the] son of Shaphan the scribe in the court upper [the] entrance of [the] gate of [the] house of Yahweh new in [the] ears of all the people.
Kochakore e agola mar Gemaria wuod Shafan ma jagoro, mane nitiere e laru man malo e kar donjo mar Dhorangach Manyien mar hekalu, Baruk nosomone ji duto e hekalu mar Jehova Nyasaye weche Jeremia koa e kitabu.
11 And he heard Micaiah [the] son of Gemariah [the] son of Shaphan all [the] words of Yahweh from on the scroll.
Ka Mikaya wuod Gemaria, ma wuod Shafan, nowinjo weche duto mag Jehova Nyasaye moa e kitabu,
12 And he went down [the] house of the king to [the] room of the scribe and there! there all the officials [were] sitting Elishama the scribe and Delaiah [the] son of Shemaiah and Elnathan [the] son of Achbor and Gemariah [the] son of Shaphan and Zedekiah [the] son of Hananiah and all the officials.
nodhi e agola mar jagoro mane ni e kar dak ruoth, kama ne jotelo nobetie: Elishama ma jagoro, Delaya wuod Shemaya, Elnathan wuod Akbor, Gemaria wuod Shafan, Zedekia wuod Hanania, kod jotelo mamoko duto.
13 And he told to them Micaiah all the words which he had heard when read aloud Baruch in the scroll in [the] ears of the people.
Bangʼ ka Mikaya ne osenyisogi gik moko duto mane osewinjo ka Baruk somo ne ji koa e kitabu,
14 And they sent all the officials to Baruch Jehudi [the] son of Nethaniah [the] son of Shelemiah [the] son of Cushi saying the scroll which you have read aloud in it in [the] ears of the people take it in hand your and come and he took Baruch [the] son of Neriah the scroll in hand his and he went to them.
jotelogi duto nooro Jehudi wuod Nethania, ma wuod Shelemia, wuod Kushi, mondo owach ne Baruk niya, “Kel kitabu ma isesomone ji kendo ibi.” Omiyo Baruk wuod Neria nodhi irgi gi kitabuno e lwete.
15 And they said to him sit please and read aloud it in ears our and he read [it] aloud Baruch in ears their.
Negiwachone, “Bed piny, kiyie, kendo isomnwago.” Omiyo Baruk nosomonegi.
16 And it was when heard they all the words they were in dread each to neighbor his and they said to Baruch certainly we will tell to the king all the things these.
Kane gi winjo wechegi duto, ne gingʼiyore giwegi ka giluor kendo giwachone Baruk niya, “Nyaka wanyis wechegi duto ne ruoth.”
17 And Baruch they asked saying tell please to us how? did you write all the words these from mouth his.
Eka negipenjo Baruk niya, “Nyiswane, ere kaka ne indiko gigi duto? Jeremia ema nosomoni eka indikogi koso?”
18 And he said to them Baruch from mouth his he proclaimed to me all the words these and I [was] writing on the scroll with ink.
Baruk nodwoko niya, “En kamano, nowachona wechegi duto to nandikogi, kendo ne andiko gi wino e kitabu.”
19 And they said the officials to Baruch go hide yourself you and Jeremiah and anyone may not he know where? [are] you.
Eka jotelogo nonyiso Baruk, “In kaachiel gi Jeremia, dhiuru kendo upondi. Kik uwe ngʼato ngʼe kuma untie.”
20 And they went to the king [the] court towards and the scroll they had deposited in [the] room of Elishama the scribe and they told in [the] ears of the king all the things.
Bangʼ kane giseketo kitabu ei od Elishama jagoro, negidhi ir ruoth e laru kendo giwachone gimoro amora.
21 And he sent the king Jehudi to fetch the scroll and he fetched it from [the] room of Elishama the scribe and he read aloud it Jehudi in [the] ears of the king and in [the] ears of all the officials who were standing from with the king.
Ruoth nooro Jehudi mondo okel kitabuno, kendo Jehudi nokele koa kode ei od Elishama jagoro kendo nosomene ruoth kod jotelo duto kochungʼ e bathe.
22 And the king [was] sitting [the] house of the winter in the month ninth and the fire-pot before him [was] kindled.
Ne en dwe mar ochiko kendo ruoth nobet ei ot mar oyo mach e kinde mar chwiri.
23 And it was - when read aloud Jehudi three doors and four he tore it with [the] knife of the scribe and he threw [it] into the fire which [was] to the fire-pot until was consumed all the scroll on the fire which [was] on the fire-pot.
Ka Jehudi nosesomo laini adek kata angʼwen mar kitabuno, ruoth nongʼadogi gi pala mabith kendo owitogi e kar hoyo mach, nyaka kitabuno duto nowangʼ e mach.
24 And not they were afraid and not they tore clothes their the king and all servants his who heard all the words these.
Ruoth gi jogo duto mane en godo mane owinjo wechegi ne ok obedo gi luoro moro, kata lepgi ne ok giyiecho.
25 And also Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah they had made entreaty with the king to not to burn the scroll and not he listened to them.
Kata obedo ni Elnathan, Delaya kod Gemaria nokwero ruoth mondo kik wangʼ kitabuno, to ne ok onyal winjogi.
26 And he commanded the king Jerahmeel [the] son of the king and Seraiah [the] son of Azriel and Shelemiah [the] son of Abdeel to seize Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet and he hid them Yahweh.
Makmana, ruoth nomiyo Jeramel, ma wuod ruoth, Seraya wuod Azriel gi Shelemia wuod Abdil chik, mondo omak Baruk jandiko kod Jeremia janabi. To Jehova Nyasaye nosepandogi.
27 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jeremiah after - burned the king the scroll and the words which he had written Baruch from [the] mouth of Jeremiah saying.
Bangʼ ka ruoth nosewangʼo kitabu mane otingʼo gik mane Baruk ondiko ka Jeremia somone, wach Jehova Nyasaye nobiro ne Jeremia:
28 Return take for yourself a scroll another and write on it all the words former which they were on the scroll former which he burned Jehoiakim [the] king of Judah.
“Kaw kitabu machielo kendo indikie weche duto mane ni e kitabu mokwongo-cha, mane Jehoyakim ruodh Juda owangʼo.
29 And to Jehoiakim [the] king of Judah (you will say *LA(bh)*) thus he says Yahweh you you burned the scroll this saying why? did you write on it saying certainly he will come [the] king of Babylon and he will destroy the land this and he will cause to cease from it human being and animal.
Bende nyis Jehoyakim ruodh Juda ni, ‘Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye wacho: Ne iwangʼo kitabucha kendo iwacho niya, “Angʼo momiyo ne indiko kuome ni ruodh Babulon enobi kendo keth pinyni kendo ogol ji kaachiel gi le kuome?”
30 Therefore thus he says Yahweh on Jehoiakim [the] king of Judah not he will belong to him [one who] sits on [the] throne of David and corpse his it will be thrown out to the heat in the day and to the frost in the night.
Emomiyo, ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye wacho kuom Jehoyakim ruodh Juda: Ok nobed gi ngʼama bedo e kom duongʼ Daudi; ringre nowit oko kendo nomo oko ne liet mar odiechiengʼ kendo ne thoo mar otieno.
31 And I will visit on him and on offspring his and on servants his iniquity their and I will bring on them and on [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem and to everyone of Judah all the calamity which I have spoken against them and not they listened.
Anakume gi nyithinde kod jogo marite nikech timbegi maricho; anakel kuomgi kod jogo modak Jerusalem gi jo-Juda kit masira moro amora mane asechanonegi, nikech gitamore winja.’”
32 And Jeremiah he took - a scroll another and he gave it to Baruch [the] son of Neriah the scribe and he wrote on it from [the] mouth of Jeremiah all [the] words of the scroll which he had burned Jehoiakim [the] king of Judah in the fire and again it was added to them words many like them.
Omiyo Jeremia nokawo kitabu machielo kendo omiye Baruk wuod Neria jandik muma, kendo kaka Jeremia ne ohulo, Baruk nondiko e kitabuno weche duto mar kitabu mane Jehoyakim ruodh Juda nosewangʼo e mach kendo weche mangʼeny machalre nomed kuomgi.
