< Jeremiah 36 >

1 And it was in the year fourth of Jehoiakim [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah it came the word this to Jeremiah from with Yahweh saying.
Hahoi, Judah Siangpahrang Josiah capa Jehoiakim abawinae kum pali navah hete lawk BAWIPA koe hoi Jeremiah koe a pha.
2 Take for yourself a scroll of a document and you will write to it all the words which I have spoken to you on Israel and on Judah and on all the nations from [the] day [when] I spoke to you from [the] days of Josiah and until the day this.
Cakalawng hah lat nateh, hot dawkvah nang koe ka dei e lawknaw pueng hoi Isarel taranlahoi thoseh, Judah taranlahoi thoseh, miphun pueng taranlahoi thoseh nang koe pasuek ka dei e hoi Josiah se koehoi sahnin totouh e lawknaw hah thun haw.
3 Perhaps they will hear [the] house of Judah all the harm which I [am] planning to do to them so that they may turn back everyone from way his evil and I will forgive iniquity their and sin their.
Judah imthungnaw ni a lathueng hawihoehnae ka sak hanlah kakâcainaw pueng a thai awh toteh, a sak payonnae hoi yonnae naw ka ngaithoum thai nahanelah, tami pueng ni amamae hringnuen hoi yonnae hah a kâthung thai yawkaw han doeh, telah ati.
4 And he called Jeremiah Baruch [the] son of Neriah and he wrote Baruch from [the] mouth of Jeremiah all [the] words of Yahweh which he had spoken to him on a scroll of a document.
Jeremiah ni Neriah capa Baruk hah a kaw teh Baruk ni, BAWIPA e lawknaw pueng ahni koevah a dei pouh. Jeremiah e pahni dawk hoi ka tâcawt e lawknaw hah cakalawng dawk a thut.
5 And he commanded Jeremiah Baruch saying I [am] shut up not I am able to go [the] house of Yahweh.

6 And you will go you and you will read aloud in the scroll which you have written from mouth my [the] words of Yahweh in [the] ears of the people [the] house of Yahweh on a day of fasting and also in [the] ears of all Judah who are coming from cities their you will read aloud them.
Hatdawkvah, nang cet nateh, BAWIPA e lawk ka pahni dawk hoi ka tâcawt ni teh cakalawng dawk na thut e BAWIPA e lawk hah rawcahai hnin BAWIPA e im dawk e tami pueng ni thainae koe touk pouh. Khopui, khote koehoi ka tho e Judah taminaw pueng ni thainae koehai touk pouh.
7 Perhaps it will fall supplication their before Yahweh so they may turn back everyone from way his evil for [is] great the anger and the rage which he has spoken Yahweh against the people this.
Tami pueng ni hringnuen yonnae naw hah kamlang takhai teh BAWIPA hmalah yon pankângai lahoi a tho thai awh yawkaw han. Bangkongtetpawiteh, hete taminaw lathueng vah lungkhueknae hoi lungkâannae BAWIPA im dawk dei lah kaawm e hah a pataw tangngak, telah kâ a poe.
8 And he did Baruch [the] son of Neriah according to all that he had commanded him Jeremiah the prophet to read aloud in the scroll [the] words of Yahweh [the] house of Yahweh.
Hot patetlah, Neriah capa Baruk ni, profet Jeremiah ni ahni koe kâ a poe e patetlah BAWIPA im dawk BAWIPA e lawk, cauk thung e a touk.
9 And it was in the year fifth of Jehoiakim [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah in the month ninth they proclaimed a fast before Yahweh all the people in Jerusalem and all the people who were coming from [the] cities of Judah in Jerusalem.
Hahoi, Judah siangpahrang Josiah capa Jehoiakim abawinae kum panga, thapa yung tako nah, Jerusalem e taminaw pueng hoi Judah khopui thung e Jerusalem hoi kathonaw pueng ni rawcahai hanelah a pathang awh.
10 And he read aloud Baruch in the scroll [the] words of Jeremiah [the] house of Yahweh in [the] room of Gemariah [the] son of Shaphan the scribe in the court upper [the] entrance of [the] gate of [the] house of Yahweh new in [the] ears of all the people.
Baruk ni BAWIPA im takhang kâennae dawk a lathueng lah kaawm e ca kathutkung Shaphan capa Gemariah e imrakhan, BAWIPA im dawk kaawm e hah taminaw pueng ni thainae koe a touk.
11 And he heard Micaiah [the] son of Gemariah [the] son of Shaphan all [the] words of Yahweh from on the scroll.
Shaphan capa Gemariah capa Mikaiah ni cauk thung kaawm e BAWIPA e lawknaw pueng a thai toteh,
12 And he went down [the] house of the king to [the] room of the scribe and there! there all the officials [were] sitting Elishama the scribe and Delaiah [the] son of Shemaiah and Elnathan [the] son of Achbor and Gemariah [the] son of Shaphan and Zedekiah [the] son of Hananiah and all the officials.
Siangpahrang im dawk a kum teh cakathutkung e imrakhan dawk a kâen. Hahoi khenhaw, hote kahrawikungnaw pueng cakathutkung Elishama, Shemaiah capa Delai, Abor capa Elnathan, Shaphan capa Gemariah, Hananiah capa Zedekiah hoi kahrawikungnaw pueng a tahung awh.
13 And he told to them Micaiah all the words which he had heard when read aloud Baruch in the scroll in [the] ears of the people.
Mikaiah ni tamihunaw pueng ka thai lah Baruk ni cauk touk e kong a thai e naw pueng hah ahnimouh koe a pâpho pouh.
14 And they sent all the officials to Baruch Jehudi [the] son of Nethaniah [the] son of Shelemiah [the] son of Cushi saying the scroll which you have read aloud in it in [the] ears of the people take it in hand your and come and he took Baruch [the] son of Neriah the scroll in hand his and he went to them.
Hatdawkvah, kahrawikungnaw pueng ni Kushi capa, Shelemiah capa, Nathaniah capa Jehudi teh Baruk koe a patoun awh teh, ahni koevah, tamihunaw pueng ni ka thai lah na touk e cauk hah hrawm nateh tho, telah atipouh awh. Hattoteh Neriah capa Baruk teh cakalawng hrawm lahoi ahnimouh koe a tho.
15 And they said to him sit please and read aloud it in ears our and he read [it] aloud Baruch in ears their.
Hahoi, ahni koevah tahung nateh kaimouh hnâthainae koe touk haw atipouh awh. Hottelah Baruk ni ahnimouh ka thai lah a touk pouh.
16 And it was when heard they all the words they were in dread each to neighbor his and they said to Baruch certainly we will tell to the king all the things these.
Hahoi, hote lawk a thai awh toteh, lungpuen laihoi buet touh hoi buet touh kâkhet awh teh Baruk koevah, hete hnonaw pueng heh siangpahrang ka dei pouh roeroe han, telah ati awh.
17 And Baruch they asked saying tell please to us how? did you write all the words these from mouth his.
Hahoi Baruk koe, hete lawknaw pueng a pahni dawk hoi e bangtelamaw na thut, na dei pouh haw, telah a pacei awh.
18 And he said to them Baruch from mouth his he proclaimed to me all the words these and I [was] writing on the scroll with ink.
Baruk ni hete lawknaw pueng a pahni dawk hoi a dei teh cahang hoi cauk dawk ka thut e doeh, telah atipouh.
19 And they said the officials to Baruch go hide yourself you and Jeremiah and anyone may not he know where? [are] you.
Ahnimouh ni Baruk koevah, cet nateh Jeremiah hoi kâhrawk roi, apini na o roinae panuek hanh naseh, telah atipouh awh.
20 And they went to the king [the] court towards and the scroll they had deposited in [the] room of Elishama the scribe and they told in [the] ears of the king all the things.
Hote rapan thung siangpahrang teh cakathutkung Elishama e imrakhan dawk a hruek, a thung e lawknaw pueng pahni hoi siangpahrang koe a dei awh.
21 And he sent the king Jehudi to fetch the scroll and he fetched it from [the] room of Elishama the scribe and he read aloud it Jehudi in [the] ears of the king and in [the] ears of all the officials who were standing from with the king.
Hahoi siangpahrang ni cakalawng la hanelah Jehudi a patoun teh cakathutkung Elishama imrakhan thung e a la. Hahoi Jehudi ni siangpahrang hoi siangpahrang teng kangdout e kahrawikungnaw hnâthainae koe a touk.
22 And the king [was] sitting [the] house of the winter in the month ninth and the fire-pot before him [was] kindled.
Thapa yung takonae kasik tue nah siangpahrang teh, hmaisaan a kamben.
23 And it was - when read aloud Jehudi three doors and four he tore it with [the] knife of the scribe and he threw [it] into the fire which [was] to the fire-pot until was consumed all the scroll on the fire which [was] on the fire-pot.
Hahoi, Jehudi ni rui hni, rui thum touh a touk toteh siangpahrang ni saraica hoi vekvek a sei teh hmai dawk a phum teh he a kak.
24 And not they were afraid and not they tore clothes their the king and all servants his who heard all the words these.
Siangpahrang hoi thaw katawkkungnaw, hete lawk kathainaw pueng apinihai taket awh hoeh, a khohnanaw hai phi awh hoeh.
25 And also Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah they had made entreaty with the king to not to burn the scroll and not he listened to them.
Hothloilah, Elnathan hoi Delaiai hoi Gemariah tinaw ni cakalawng hmai phum hoeh nahanelah siangpahrang koe a kâhei, hatei banglah noutna hoeh.
26 And he commanded the king Jerahmeel [the] son of the king and Seraiah [the] son of Azriel and Shelemiah [the] son of Abdeel to seize Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet and he hid them Yahweh.
Siangpahrang ni siangpahrang capa Jerahmeel hoi Azriel capa Seraiah hoi Abdel capa Shelemiah hah cakathutkung Baruk hoi profet Jeremiah man hanelah kâ a poe. Hateiteh, BAWIPA ni ahnimouh roi teh a hro.
27 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jeremiah after - burned the king the scroll and the words which he had written Baruch from [the] mouth of Jeremiah saying.
Hote cakalawng hoi Jeremiah e pahni thung e Baruk ni a thut e lawknaw pueng siangpahrang ni hmai he a sawi hnukkhu BAWIPA e lawk Jeremiah koe a pha.
28 Return take for yourself a scroll another and write on it all the words former which they were on the scroll former which he burned Jehoiakim [the] king of Judah.
Cakalawng alouke lat haw. Cakalawng apasuek dawk e lawknaw pueng Judah siangpahrang Jehoiakim ni hmai a sawi e naw hah bout thun haw.
29 And to Jehoiakim [the] king of Judah (you will say *LA(bh)*) thus he says Yahweh you you burned the scroll this saying why? did you write on it saying certainly he will come [the] king of Babylon and he will destroy the land this and he will cause to cease from it human being and animal.
Hahoi, Judah siangpahrang Jehoiakim e kong dawk hettelah na dei han. BAWIPA ni hettelah a dei. Babilon siangpahrang a tho roeroe vaiteh, hete ram raphoe vaiteh, hete taminaw hoi saringnaw pueng he a pâmit han, telah thut e hah, bangkongmaw hot patetlae lawk na thut telah cakalawng thut e hah hmai a sawi.
30 Therefore thus he says Yahweh on Jehoiakim [the] king of Judah not he will belong to him [one who] sits on [the] throne of David and corpse his it will be thrown out to the heat in the day and to the frost in the night.
Hatdawkvah, Judah siangpahrang Jehoiakim e kong dawk BAWIPA ni hettelah a dei. Devit e bawitungkhung dawk ka tahung hane tami tawn mahoeh. A ro hai kanîthun kâan poung e hoi tangmin tadamtui um vah tâkhawng lah ao han.
31 And I will visit on him and on offspring his and on servants his iniquity their and I will bring on them and on [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem and to everyone of Judah all the calamity which I have spoken against them and not they listened.
Hahoi a yonnae dawkvah ama hoi a catounnaw hoi a thaw katawknaw ka rek han. Hahoi amamouh hoi Jerusalem vah kho kasaknaw hoi Judahnaw e lathueng ahnimouh koe ka pâpho pouh e hoi a thai ngai awh hoeh e hawihoehnae pueng ka pha sak han, telah ati.
32 And Jeremiah he took - a scroll another and he gave it to Baruch [the] son of Neriah the scribe and he wrote on it from [the] mouth of Jeremiah all [the] words of the scroll which he had burned Jehoiakim [the] king of Judah in the fire and again it was added to them words many like them.
