Jeremiah 32
1 The word which it came to Jeremiah from with Yahweh (in the year *Q(K)*) tenth of Zedekiah [the] king of Judah that [was] the year eight-teen year of Nebuchadnezzar.
Telle fut la parole qui fut adressée à Jérémie de la part de Yahvé, la dixième année de Sédécias, roi de Juda, qui était la dix-huitième année de Nabuchodonosor.
2 And then [the] army of [the] king of Babylon [were] laying siege on Jerusalem and Jeremiah the prophet he was shut up in [the] courtyard of the guard which [was] [the] house of [the] king of Judah.
En ce temps-là, l'armée du roi de Babylone assiégeait Jérusalem. Jérémie, le prophète, était enfermé dans la cour des gardes, qui était dans la maison du roi de Juda.
3 Where he had shut up him Zedekiah [the] king of Judah saying why? [are] you prophesying saying thus he says Yahweh here I [am] about to give the city this in [the] hand of [the] king of Babylon and he will capture it.
Car Sédécias, roi de Juda, l'avait fait taire, en disant: Pourquoi prophétises-tu, en disant: Yahvé dit: Voici, je livre cette ville entre les mains du roi de Babylone, et il la prendra;
4 And Zedekiah [the] king of Judah not he will escape from [the] hand of the Chaldeans for certainly he will be given in [the] hand of [the] king of Babylon and it will speak mouth his with mouth his and eyes his (eyes his *Q(K)*) they will see.
et Sédécias, roi de Juda, n'échappera pas à la main des Chaldéens, mais il sera livré entre les mains du roi de Babylone, il parlera avec lui bouche à bouche, et ses yeux verront ses yeux;
5 And Babylon he will take Zedekiah and there he will be until give attention to I him [the] utterance of Yahweh if you will fight with the Chaldeans not you will succeed.
et il emmènera Sédécias à Babylone, et il y restera jusqu'à ce que je le visite, dit Yahvé, bien que tu combattes les Chaldéens, tu ne prospéreras pas? »'"
6 And he said Jeremiah it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
Jérémie dit: « La parole de Yahvé m'a été adressée en ces termes:
7 Here! Hanamel [the] son of Shallum uncle your [is] about to come to you saying buy for yourself field my which [is] at Anathoth for [belongs] to you [the] right of redemption to buy [it].
Voici que Hanamel, fils de Shallum, ton oncle, vient te voir et te dit: « Achète mon champ qui est à Anathoth, car le droit de rachat te revient pour l'acheter ».
8 And he came to me Hanamel [the] son of uncle my according to [the] word of Yahweh to [the] courtyard of the guard and he said to me buy please field my which [is] at Anathoth which - [is] in [the] land of Benjamin for [belongs] to you [the] right of possession and [belongs] to you the redemption buy [it] for yourself and I knew that [was] [the] word of Yahweh it.
« Hanamel, fils de mon oncle, vint me voir dans la cour des gardes, selon la parole de Yahvé, et me dit: « Achète, je te prie, mon champ qui est à Anathoth, dans le pays de Benjamin, car le droit d'héritage est à toi, et le rachat est à toi. Achète-le pour toi-même. « Je sus alors que telle était la parole de Yahvé.
9 And I bought the field from with Hanamel [the] son of uncle my which [was] at Anathoth and I weighed out! for him the silver [was] seven shekels and ten the silver.
J'achetai le champ d'Anathoth au fils de Hanamel, mon oncle, et je lui pesai l'argent, dix-sept sicles d'argent.
10 And I wrote on the document and I sealed [it] and I caused to witness [it] witnesses and I weighed out the silver on scales.
J'ai signé l'acte, je l'ai scellé, j'ai appelé des témoins et je lui ai pesé l'argent dans les balances.
11 And I took [the] document of the purchase the sealed [one] the order and the conditions and the uncovered [one].
Je pris l'acte d'achat, celui qui était scellé, contenant les conditions, et celui qui était ouvert;
12 And I gave the document the purchase to Baruch [the] son of Neriah [the] son of Mahseiah to [the] eyes of Hanamel uncle my and to [the] eyes of the witnesses who wrote on [the] document of the purchase to [the] eyes of all the Jews who were sitting in [the] courtyard of the guard.
et je remis l'acte d'achat à Baruch, fils de Neriah, fils de Mahséja, en présence de Hanamel, fils de mon oncle, et en présence des témoins qui avaient signé l'acte d'achat, devant tous les Juifs qui siégeaient dans la cour des gardes.
13 And I commanded Baruch to eyes their saying.
J'ai donné cet ordre à Baruch en leur présence:
14 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel take the documents these [the] document of the purchase this and the sealed [one] and [the] document uncovered this and you will put them in a vessel of earthenware so that they may remain days many.
L'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël, dit: « Prends ces actes, cet acte d'achat scellé et cet acte ouvert, et mets-les dans un vase d'argile, pour qu'ils durent plusieurs jours.
15 For thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel again they will be bought houses and fields and vineyards in the land this.
Car Yahvé des armées, le Dieu d'Israël, dit: « On achètera encore dans ce pays des maisons, des champs et des vignes.
16 And I prayed to Yahweh after gave I [the] document of the purchase to Baruch [the] son of Neriah saying.
Après avoir remis l'acte d'achat à Baruch, fils de Neriah, j'ai prié l'Éternel, en disant,
17 Alas! O Lord Yahweh there! - you you made the heavens and the earth by strength your great and by arm your outstretched not it is [too] difficult for you any thing.
« Ah Seigneur Yahvé! Voici que tu as fait les cieux et la terre par ta grande puissance et par ton bras étendu. Rien n'est trop dur pour toi.
18 [who] does Covenant loyalty to thousands and [who] pays back [the] iniquity of fathers into [the] bosom of children their after them God great mighty [is] Yahweh of hosts name his.
Tu fais preuve de bonté envers des milliers de personnes, et tu reverses l'iniquité des pères dans le sein de leurs enfants après eux. Ton nom est le Dieu grand et puissant, le Yahvé des armées:
19 great of Counsel and [the] great of deed[s] who eyes your [are] opened on all [the] ways of [the] children of humankind to give to everyone according to ways his and according to [the] fruit of deeds his.
grand par ses conseils et puissant par ses œuvres, qui a les yeux ouverts sur toutes les voies des enfants des hommes, pour rendre à chacun selon ses voies et selon le fruit de ses œuvres;
20 Who you performed signs and wonders in [the] land of Egypt until the day this and in Israel and among humankind and you have made for yourself a name as the day this.
qui a opéré des signes et des prodiges au pays d'Égypte, jusqu'à ce jour, tant en Israël que parmi les autres hommes; et tu t'es fait un nom, comme il l'est aujourd'hui;
21 And you brought out people your Israel from [the] land of Egypt by signs and by wonders and by a hand strong and by an arm outstretched and with terror great.
et tu as fait sortir ton peuple Israël du pays d'Égypte avec des signes, avec des prodiges, avec une main forte, avec un bras étendu, et avec une grande terreur;
22 And you gave to them the land this which you had sworn to ancestors their to give to them a land flowing of milk and honey.
et tu leur as donné ce pays, que tu avais juré à leurs pères de leur donner, un pays où coulent le lait et le miel.
23 And they came and they took possession of it and not they listened to voice your (and in law your *Q(K)*) not they walked all that you had commanded to them to do not they did and you have caused to happen to them all the calamity this.
Ils y sont entrés et l'ont possédé, mais ils n'ont pas obéi à ta voix et n'ont pas suivi ta loi. Ils n'ont rien fait de tout ce que tu leur avais ordonné de faire. C'est pourquoi tu as fait venir sur eux tout ce malheur.
24 There! the mounds they have come the city to capture it and the city it has been given in [the] hand of the Chaldeans who are fighting on it because of the sword and the famine and the pestilence and [that] which you spoke it has happened and there you [are] seeing [it].
« Voici, on a construit des rampes de siège contre la ville pour la prendre. La ville est livrée entre les mains des Chaldéens qui la combattent, à cause de l'épée, de la famine et de la peste. Ce que tu as dit est arrivé. Voici, tu le vois.
25 And you you have said to me O Lord Yahweh buy for yourself the field with silver and cause to witness [it] witnesses and the city it has been given in [the] hand of the Chaldeans.
Tu m'as dit, Seigneur Yahvé: « Achète le champ à prix d'argent, et appelle des témoins »; mais la ville a été livrée entre les mains des Chaldéens. »
26 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jeremiah saying.
Alors la parole de Yahvé fut adressée à Jérémie, en ces termes:
27 Here! I [am] Yahweh [the] God of all flesh ¿ for me is it [too] difficult any thing.
« Voici, je suis Yahvé, le Dieu de toute chair. Y a-t-il quelque chose de trop dur pour moi?
28 Therefore thus he says Yahweh here I [am] about to give the city this in [the] hand of the Chaldeans and in [the] hand of Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon and he will capture it.
C'est pourquoi Yahvé dit: Voici, je vais livrer cette ville entre les mains des Chaldéens, entre les mains de Nabuchodonosor, roi de Babylone, et il la prendra.
29 And they will come the Chaldeans who are fighting on the city this and they will set on fire the city this with fire and they will burn it and the houses which people made smoke on roofs their to Baal and they poured out drink offerings to gods other so as to provoke to anger me.
Les Chaldéens, qui combattent cette ville, viendront et mettront le feu à cette ville, et ils la brûleront avec les maisons sur les toits desquelles ils ont offert de l'encens à Baal et versé des libations à d'autres dieux, pour m'irriter.
30 For they have been [the] people of Israel and [the] people of Judah only doing the evil in view my since youth their for [the] people of Israel only [are] provoking to anger me by [the] work of hands their [the] utterance of Yahweh.
« Car les enfants d'Israël et les enfants de Juda n'ont fait que ce qui était mauvais à mes yeux dès leur jeunesse; car les enfants d'Israël n'ont fait que m'irriter par l'ouvrage de leurs mains, dit l'Éternel.
31 That on anger my and on rage my it has been to me the city this from the day when they built it and until the day this to remove it from on face my.
Car cette ville a été pour moi une provocation à ma colère et à ma fureur, depuis le jour où ils l'ont bâtie jusqu'à ce jour, pour que je l'enlève de devant ma face,
32 On all [the] evil of [the] people of Israel and [the] people of Judah which they have done to provoke to anger me they kings their officials their priests their and prophets their and everyone of Judah and [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem.
à cause de tout le mal que les enfants d'Israël et les enfants de Juda ont fait pour m'irriter, eux, leurs rois, leurs princes, leurs prêtres, leurs prophètes, les hommes de Juda et les habitants de Jérusalem.
33 And they turned to me a back and not a face and I taught them rising early and teaching and not they [were] listening to accept correction.
Ils m'ont tourné le dos, et non le visage. Bien que je les aie instruits, me levant de bonne heure et les instruisant, ils n'ont pas écouté pour recevoir l'instruction.
34 And they put detestable things their in the house which it was called name my on it to make unclean it.
Mais ils ont placé leurs abominations dans la maison qui porte mon nom, pour la souiller.
35 And they built [the] high places of Baal which - [are] in [the] valley of Ben Hinnom to make pass through sons their and daughters their to Molech which not I had commanded them and not it had come up on heart my to do the abomination this so as (to cause to sin *Q(k)*) Judah.
Ils ont bâti les hauts lieux de Baal, qui sont dans la vallée du fils de Hinnom, pour faire passer leurs fils et leurs filles par le feu à Moloch, ce que je ne leur ai pas commandé. Il ne m'est même pas venu à l'esprit qu'ils devaient faire cette abomination, pour faire pécher Juda. »
36 And now therefore thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel concerning the city this which - you [are] saying it has been given in [the] hand of [the] king of Babylon by the sword and by famine and by pestilence.
Maintenant, Yahvé, le Dieu d'Israël, dit au sujet de cette ville dont vous dites: « Elle a été livrée entre les mains du roi de Babylone par l'épée, par la famine et par la peste »:
37 Here I [will be] gathering them from all the lands where I have banished them there in anger my and in rage my and in wrath great and I will bring back them to the place this and I will cause to dwell them to security.
« Voici, je les rassemblerai de tous les pays où je les ai chassés dans ma colère, dans ma fureur et dans ma grande indignation, et je les ramènerai dans ce lieu. Je les ferai habiter en sécurité.
38 And they will become for me a people and I I will become for them God.
Alors ils seront mon peuple, et je serai leur Dieu.
39 And I will give to them a heart one and a way one to fear me all the days for good for them and for children their after them.
Je leur donnerai un seul cœur et une seule voie, afin qu'ils me craignent toujours, pour leur bien et celui de leurs enfants après eux.
40 And I will make to them a covenant of perpetuity which not I will turn back from after them to do good to I them and fear my I will put in heart their to not to turn aside from with me.
Je conclurai avec eux une alliance éternelle, et je ne me détournerai pas de les suivre pour leur faire du bien. Je mettrai ma crainte dans leur cœur, pour qu'ils ne s'éloignent pas de moi.
41 And I will rejoice on them to do good to them and I will plant them in the land this in faithfulness with all heart my and with all being my.
Oui, je me réjouirai d'eux pour leur faire du bien, et je les planterai dans ce pays avec assurance, de tout mon cœur et de toute mon âme. »
42 For thus he says Yahweh just as I have brought to the people this all the calamity great this so I [will] bring on them all the good which I [am] speaking to them.
Car Yahvé dit: « De même que j'ai fait venir sur ce peuple tout ce grand malheur, de même je ferai venir sur lui tout le bien que je lui ai promis.
43 And it will be bought the field in the land this which - you [are] saying [is] a desolation it from not human being and an animal it has been given in [the] hand of the Chaldeans.
On achètera des champs dans ce pays dont vous dites: « Il est désert, sans homme ni bête. Il est livré entre les mains des Chaldéens ».
44 Fields for silver people will buy and they will write on the document - and they will seal [it] and cause to witness [it] witnesses in [the] land of Benjamin and in [the] surroundings of Jerusalem and in [the] cities of Judah and in [the] cities of the hill country and in [the] cities of the Shephelah and in [the] cities of the Negev for I will turn back captivity their [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Onachètera des champs à prix d'argent, on signera les actes, on les scellera, on appellera des témoins, dans le pays de Benjamin, dans les environs de Jérusalem, dans les villes de Juda, dans les villes de la montagne, dans les villes de la plaine, dans les villes du Midi, car je ferai revenir leur captivité, dit Yahvé.
