Jeremiah 30
1 The word which it came to Jeremiah from with Yahweh saying.
Hili ndilo neno lililomjia Yeremia kutoka kwa Bwana:
2 Thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel saying write for yourself all the words which I have spoken to you into a book.
“Hili ndilo asemalo Bwana, Mungu wa Israeli: ‘Andika katika kitabu maneno yote niliyonena na wewe.
3 For here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will turn back [the] captivity of people my Israel and Judah he says Yahweh and I will bring back them to the land which I gave to ancestors their and they will take possession of it.
Siku zinakuja,’ asema Bwana, ‘nitakapowaleta watu wangu Israeli na Yuda kutoka uhamishoni, na kuwarudisha katika nchi niliyowapa baba zao ili kuimiliki,’ asema Bwana.”
4 And these [are] the words which he spoke Yahweh concerning Israel and concerning Judah.
Haya ndiyo maneno Bwana aliyoyanena kuhusu Israeli na Yuda:
5 For thus he says Yahweh a sound of fear we have heard dread and there not [is] peace.
“Hili ndilo asemalo Bwana: “‘Vilio vya woga vinasikika: hofu kuu, wala si amani.
6 Ask please and see if [is] giving birth a male why? have I seen every man hands his on loins his like [woman] giving birth and have they been changed? all faces into paleness.
Ulizeni na mkaone: Je, mwanaume aweza kuzaa watoto? Kwa nini basi ninaona kila mwanaume mwenye nguvu ameweka mikono yake tumboni kama mwanamke aliye na utungu wa kuzaa, kila uso ukigeuka rangi kabisa?
7 Woe! for [will be] great the day that from not [is] like it and [will be] a time of distress it for Jacob and from it he will be saved.
Tazama jinsi ile siku itakavyokuwa ya kutisha! Hakutakuwa na nyingine mfano wake. Utakuwa wakati wa dhiki kwa Yakobo, lakini ataokolewa kutoka hiyo.
8 And it will be on the day that [the] utterance of - Yahweh of hosts I will break yoke his from on neck your and fetters your I will tear apart and not they will work by him again strangers.
“‘Katika siku ile,’ asema Bwana Mwenye Nguvu Zote, ‘nitaivunja nira kutoka shingoni mwao na kuvipasua vifungo vyao; wageni hawatawafanya tena watumwa.
9 And they will serve Yahweh God their and David king their whom I will raise up for them.
Badala yake, watamtumikia Bwana, Mungu wao na Daudi mfalme wao, nitakayemwinua kwa ajili yao.
10 And you may not you fear O servant my Jacob [the] utterance of Yahweh and may not you be dismayed O Israel for here I [am] about to save you from a distant [land] and offspring your from [the] land of captivity their and he will return Jacob and he will be undisturbed and he will be at ease and there not [will be one who] terrifies.
“‘Hivyo usiogope, ee Yakobo mtumishi wangu, usifadhaike, ee Israeli,’ asema Bwana. ‘Hakika, nitakuokoa kutoka mbali, wazao wako kutoka nchi ya uhamisho wao. Yakobo atakuwa tena na amani na usalama, wala hakuna atakayemtia hofu.
11 For [am] with you I [the] utterance of Yahweh to save you that I will make complete destruction on all the nations - where I have scattered you there nevertheless you not I will make complete destruction and I will discipline you to justice and certainly not I will leave unpunished you.
Mimi niko pamoja nawe, nami nitakuokoa,’ asema Bwana. ‘Ingawa nitayaangamiza kabisa mataifa yote ambamo miongoni mwao nimewatawanya, sitawaangamiza ninyi kabisa. Nitawaadhibu, lakini kwa haki. Sitawaacha kabisa bila adhabu.’
12 For thus he says Yahweh [is] incurable fracture your [is] severe wound your.
“Hili ndilo asemalo Bwana: “‘Kidonda chako hakina dawa, jeraha lako haliponyeki.
13 There not [is one who] pleads cause your to a sore [are] medications of healing there not for you.
Hakuna yeyote wa kukutetea shauri lako, hakuna dawa ya kidonda chako, wewe hutapona.
14 All lovers your they have forgotten you you not they care for for [the] blow of an enemy I have struck down you [the] correction of a cruel [one] on [the] greatness of iniquity your they are numerous sins your.
Wale walioungana nawe wote wamekusahau, hawajali chochote kukuhusu wewe. Nimekupiga kama vile adui angelifanya, na kukuadhibu kama vile mtu mkatili angelifanya, kwa sababu hatia yako ni kubwa mno na dhambi zako ni nyingi sana.
15 Why? do you cry out on fracture your [is] incurable pain your on - [the] greatness of iniquity your they are numerous sins your I have done these [things] to you.
Kwa nini unalia kwa ajili ya jeraha lako, yale maumivu yako yasiyoponyeka? Kwa sababu ya uovu wako mkubwa na dhambi zako nyingi nimekufanyia mambo haya.
16 Therefore all [those who] devour you they will be devoured and all opponents your all of them in captivity they will go and they will become [those who] plunder you plunder and all [those who] despoil you I will make into spoil.
“‘Lakini watu wote wakuangamizao wataangamizwa; adui zako wote watakwenda uhamishoni. Wale wote wakutekao nyara watatekwa nyara; wote wakufanyao mateka nitawafanya mateka.
17 For I will bring up healing for you and from wounds your I will heal you [the] utterance of Yahweh that an outcast people have called you [is] Zion it [is one who] cares there not for it.
Lakini nitakurudishia afya yako na kuyaponya majeraha yako,’ asema Bwana, ‘kwa sababu umeitwa mwenye kutupwa, Sayuni ambaye hakuna yeyote anayekujali.’
18 Thus - he says Yahweh here I [am] about to turn back [the] captivity of [the] tents of Jacob and dwellings its I will have compassion and it will be rebuilt a city on mound its and a fortress on proper place its it will remain.
“Hili ndilo asemalo Bwana: “‘Nitarudisha baraka za mahema ya Yakobo, na kuhurumia maskani yake. Mji utajengwa tena juu ya magofu yake, nalo jumba la kifalme litasimama mahali pake halisi.
19 And it will go out from them thanksgiving and [the] sound of merry makers and I will multiply them and not they will diminish and I will make honored them and not they will be insignificant.
Nyimbo za kushukuru zitatoka kwao na sauti ya furaha. Nitaiongeza idadi yao wala hawatapungua, nitawapa heshima na hawatadharauliwa.
20 And they will be children its like long ago and congregation its before me it will be established and I will visit [judgment] on all [those who] oppress it.
Watoto wao watakuwa kama walivyokuwa siku za zamani, nayo jumuiya yao itaimarishwa mbele yangu; nitawaadhibu wale wote wawaoneao.
21 And he will be noble [one] its one of it and ruler its from [the] midst its he will come forth and I will bring near him and he will draw near to me for who? that this has he pledged heart his to draw near to me [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Mmoja wao atakuwa kiongozi wao; mtawala wao atainuka miongoni mwao. Nitamleta karibu nami, naye atanikaribia mimi, kwa maana ni nani yule atakayejitolea kuwa karibu nami?’ asema Bwana.
22 And you will become for me a people and I I will become for you God.
‘Kwa hiyo ninyi mtakuwa watu wangu, nami nitakuwa Mungu wenu.’”
23 There! - [the] storm of Yahweh rage it has gone out a storm staying as a sojourner on [the] head of wicked [people] it will whirl about.
Tazama, tufani ya Bwana italipuka kwa ghadhabu, upepo wa kisulisuli uendao kasi utashuka juu ya vichwa vya waovu.
24 Not it will turn back [the] burning of [the] anger of Yahweh until has brought about he and until has carried out he [the] purposes of heart his at [the] end of the days you will understand it.
Hasira kali ya Bwana haitarudi nyuma mpaka atakapotimiza makusudi yote ya moyo wake. Siku zijazo mtayaelewa haya.
