Jeremiah 28
1 And it was - in the year that in [the] beginning of [the] reign of Zedekiah [the] king of Judah (in the year *Q(K)*) fourth in the month fifth he said to me Hananiah [the] son of Azzur the prophet who [was] from Gibeon in [the] house of Yahweh to [the] eyes of the priests and all the people saying.
Katika mwezi wa tano wa mwaka ule ule, yaani mwaka wa nne, mwanzoni mwa utawala wa Sedekia mfalme wa Yuda, nabii Hanania mwana wa Azuri, ambaye alitoka Gibeoni, akaniambia katika nyumba ya Bwana mbele ya makuhani na watu wote:
2 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel saying I will break [the] yoke of [the] king of Babylon.
“Hili ndilo Bwana Mwenye Nguvu Zote, Mungu wa Israeli asemalo: ‘Nitaivunja nira ya mfalme wa Babeli.
3 In yet - two years days I [will] bring back to the place this all [the] articles of [the] house of Yahweh which he took Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon from the place this and he brought them Babylon.
Katika muda wa miaka miwili nitavirudisha mahali hapa vyombo vyote vya nyumba ya Bwana ambavyo Nebukadneza mfalme wa Babeli aliviondoa kutoka hapa na kuvipeleka Babeli.
4 And Jeconiah [the] son of Jehoiakim [the] king of Judah and all [the] exile[s] of Judah who went Babylon towards I [will] bring back to the place this [the] utterance of Yahweh that I will break [the] yoke of [the] king of Babylon.
Pia nitamrudisha mahali hapa Yekonia mwana wa Yehoyakimu mfalme wa Yuda, pamoja na wote waliohamishwa kutoka Yuda ambao walikwenda Babeli,’ asema Bwana, ‘kwa kuwa nitaivunja nira ya mfalme wa Babeli.’”
5 And he said Jeremiah the prophet to Hananiah the prophet to [the] eyes of the priests and to [the] eyes of all the people who were standing in [the] house of Yahweh.
Ndipo nabii Yeremia akamjibu nabii Hanania mbele ya makuhani na watu wote waliokuwa wamesimama ndani ya nyumba ya Bwana.
6 And he said Jeremiah the prophet amen thus may he do Yahweh may he carry out Yahweh words your which you have prophesied by bringing back [the] articles of [the] house of Yahweh and all the exile[s] from Babylon to the place this.
Akasema, “Amen! Bwana na afanye hivyo! Bwana na ayatimize maneno uliyotoa unabii kwa kuvirudisha mahali hapa kutoka Babeli vyombo vya nyumba ya Bwana pamoja na wote waliohamishwa.
7 Nevertheless listen to please the word this which I [am] about to speak in ears your and in [the] ears of all the people.
Hata hivyo, nisikilize nikuambie yale nitakayoyasema masikioni mwako na masikioni mwa watu hawa wote:
8 The prophets who they were before me and before you from antiquity and they prophesied against lands many and on kingdoms great of war and of calamity and of pestilence.
Tangu mwanzo, manabii waliokutangulia wewe na mimi walitabiri vita, maafa na tauni dhidi ya nchi nyingi na falme kubwa.
9 The prophet who he prophesies of peace when comes [the] word of the prophet he will be recognized the prophet whom he sent him Yahweh in truth.
Lakini nabii atakayetabiri amani atatambuliwa kuwa kweli ametumwa na Bwana ikiwa unabii wake utatimia.”
10 And he took Hananiah the prophet the yoke-bar from on [the] neck of Jeremiah the prophet and he broke it.
Kisha nabii Hanania akaiondoa nira iliyokuwa shingoni mwa Yeremia na kuivunja,
11 And he said Hananiah to [the] eyes of all the people saying thus he says Yahweh thus I will break [the] yoke of - Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon in yet two years days (from on *L(abh)*) [the] neck of all the nations and he went Jeremiah the prophet to way his.
naye akasema mbele ya watu wote, “Hili ndilo asemalo Bwana: ‘Vivi hivi ndivyo nitakavyoivunja nira ya Nebukadneza mfalme wa Babeli kutoka kwenye shingo za mataifa katika muda huu wa miaka miwili.’” Alipofanya hivi, nabii Yeremia akaondoka zake.
12 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jeremiah after broke Hananiah the prophet the yoke-bar from on [the] neck of Jeremiah the prophet saying.
Kitambo kidogo baada ya nabii Hanania kuivunja nira kutoka shingo ya nabii Yeremia, neno la Bwana likamjia Yeremia:
13 Go and you will say to Hananiah saying thus he says Yahweh yoke-bars of wood you have broken and you will make in place of them yoke-bars of iron.
“Nenda ukamwambie Hanania, ‘Hili ndilo asemalo Bwana: Umevunja nira ya mti, lakini badala yake utapata nira ya chuma.
14 For thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel a yoke of iron I have put on [the] neck of - all the nations these to serve Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon and they will serve him and also [the] animal[s] of the field I have given to him.
Hili ndilo asemalo Bwana Mwenye Nguvu Zote, Mungu wa Israeli: Nitaweka nira ya chuma kwenye shingo za mataifa haya yote ili kufanya yamtumikie Nebukadneza mfalme wa Babeli, nao watamtumikia. Nitampa kutawala hata wanyama wa mwituni.’”
15 And he said Jeremiah the prophet to Hananiah the prophet listen please O Hananiah not he sent you Yahweh and you you have made rely the people this on falsehood.
Kisha nabii Yeremia akamwambia nabii Hanania, “Sikiliza Hanania! Bwana hajakutuma, lakini wewe umelishawishi taifa hili kuamini uongo.
16 Therefore thus he says Yahweh here I [am] about to cast out you from on [the] surface of the ground this year you [will] die for rebellion you have spoken against Yahweh.
Kwa hiyo, hili ndilo asemalo Bwana: ‘Hivi karibuni nitakuondoa kutoka juu ya uso wa dunia. Mwaka huu utakufa, kwa sababu umetangaza uasi dhidi ya Bwana.’”
17 And he died Hananiah the prophet in the year that in the month seventh.
Katika mwezi wa saba wa mwaka ule ule, nabii Hanania akafa.
