Jeremiah 27

1 In [the] beginning of [the] reign of Jehoiakim [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah it came the word this to Jeremiah from with Yahweh saying.

Tak lama setelah Zedekia putra Yosia menjadi raja Yehuda, TUHAN menyuruh aku

2 Thus he said Yahweh to me make for yourself fetters and yoke-bars and you will put them on neck your.

membuat tali-tali dari kulit serta gandar dari kayu, dan memasangnya di tengkukku.

3 And you will send them to [the] king of Edom and to [the] king of Moab and to [the] king of [the] people of Ammon and to [the] king of Tyre and to [the] king of Sidon by [the] hand of messengers who have come Jerusalem to Zedekiah [the] king of Judah.

Ia juga menyuruh aku menyampaikan pesan-Nya kepada raja-raja Edom, Moab, Amon, Tirus dan Sidon, dengan perantaraan utusan-utusan mereka yang telah datang ke Yerusalem untuk mengunjungi Raja Zedekia.

4 And you will command them to masters their saying thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel thus you will say to masters your.

Aku harus memberitahukan kepada mereka bahwa TUHAN Yang Mahakuasa, Allah Israel, berkata,

5 I I made the earth humankind and the animal[s] which [are] on [the] surface of the earth by power my great and by arm my outstretched and I give it to [those] whom it is pleasing in view my.

"Dengan kuasa-Ku yang besar dan dengan kekuatan-Ku Aku telah menciptakan bumi dan manusia serta segala binatang, dan Aku dapat memberikannya kepada siapa saja yang Kukehendaki.

6 And now I I give all the lands these in [the] hand of Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon servant my and also [the] animal[s] of the field I give to him to serve him.

Akulah yang telah menyerahkan segala bangsa ini ke dalam kekuasaan hamba-Ku, Nebukadnezar, raja Babel. Bahkan binatang pun telah Kuserahkan kepadanya untuk dikuasai.

7 And they will serve him all the nations and son his and [the] son of son his until comes [the] time of land his also he and they will work by him nations many and kings great.

Segala bangsa akan mengabdi kepadanya, kepada putranya, dan kepada cucunya sampai tiba saatnya negaranya sendiri jatuh. Pada waktu itu bangsa Babel akan mengabdi kepada bangsa-bangsa yang kuat dan raja-raja yang besar.

8 And it will be the nation and the kingdom which not they will serve him Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon and which not it will put neck its in [the] yoke of [the] king of Babylon with the sword and with famine and with pestilence I will visit [judgment] on the nation that [the] utterance of Yahweh until have consumed I them by hand his.

Bangsa atau kerajaan yang tidak mau takluk kepada Nebukadnezar akan Kuhukum dengan peperangan, kelaparan, dan wabah penyakit, sampai akhirnya bangsa itu takluk kepadanya.

9 And you may not you listen to prophets your and to diviners your and to dreams your and to soothsayers your and to sorcerers your who they [are] saying to you saying not you will serve [the] king of Babylon.

Janganlah mendengarkan nabi-nabi atau siapa pun juga yang melarang kamu takluk kepada raja Babel, walaupun mereka mengaku telah menerima petunjuk dari mimpi, roh-roh halus, atau dengan memakai kekuatan gaib.

10 For falsehood they [are] prophesying to you so as to remove far away you from on land your and I will drive out you and you will perish.

Mereka menipu kamu sehingga kamu dibawa jauh dari negerimu. Aku akan mengusir kamu dari negerimu dan kamu akan binasa.

11 And the nation which it will bring neck its in [the] yoke of [the] king of Babylon and it will serve him and I will let remain it on land its [the] utterance of Yahweh and it will work it and it will dwell in it.

Tapi bangsa yang mau takluk dan mau mengabdi kepada raja Babel akan Kubiarkan tinggal di tanah airnya sendiri, dan bercocok tanam di situ. Aku, TUHAN, telah berbicara."

12 And to Zedekiah [the] king of Judah I spoke according to all the words these saying bring necks your in [the] yoke of [the] king of Babylon and serve him and people his and live.

Kepada Zedekia raja Yehuda, aku, Yeremia, menyampaikan hal yang sama. Aku berkata, "Menyerahlah kepada raja Babel. Taatlah kepadanya dan kepada bangsanya, supaya Baginda selamat.

13 Why? will you die you and people your by the sword by famine and by pestilence just as he has spoken Yahweh to the nation which not it will serve [the] king of Babylon.

TUHAN telah berkata bahwa bangsa yang tidak takluk kepada raja Babel akan mati oleh peperangan, kelaparan, atau wabah penyakit. Mengapa Baginda dan rakyat mau mati secara demikian?

14 And may not you listen to [the] words of the prophets who say to you saying not you will serve [the] king of Babylon for falsehood they [are] prophesying to you.

Jangan dengarkan nabi-nabi yang melarang Baginda takluk kepada raja Babel, sebab mereka menipu Baginda.

15 For not I sent them [the] utterance of Yahweh and they [are] prophesying in name my to falsehood so as to drive out I you and you will perish you and the prophets who are prophesying to you.

Mereka berkata bahwa mereka bicara atas nama TUHAN, tapi mereka berdusta. TUHAN sendiri berkata bahwa Ia tidak mengutus mereka. Sebab itu Ia akan menceraiberaikan dan membinasakan Baginda bersama nabi-nabi yang telah berdusta kepada Baginda."

16 And to the priests and to all the people this I spoke saying thus he says Yahweh may not you listen to [the] words of prophets your who are prophesying to you saying there! [the] articles of [the] house of Yahweh [are] about to be brought back from Babylon now quickly for falsehood they [are] prophesying to you.

Kemudian aku memberitahukan kepada imam-imam dan kepada seluruh rakyat bahwa TUHAN berkata begini, "Jangan dengarkan nabi-nabi yang berkata bahwa tidak lama lagi barang-barang di Rumah-Ku akan dibawa kembali dari Babel. Mereka bohong.

17 May not you listen to them serve [the] king of Babylon and live why? will it become the city this a ruin.

Jangan dengarkan mereka! Menyerahlah kepada raja Babel, supaya kamu selamat. Untuk apa kota ini harus hancur?

18 And if [are] prophets they and if there [is] [the] word of Yahweh with them let them entreat please Yahweh of hosts to not go the articles - which remain in [the] house of Yahweh and [the] house of [the] king of Judah and in Jerusalem Babylon towards.

Kalau mereka memang benar nabi, dan telah menerima pesan dari Aku, pasti mereka sekarang minta kepada-Ku, TUHAN Yang Mahakuasa, supaya barang-barang yang masih ada di Rumah-Ku dan di istana raja di Yerusalem tidak diangkut ke Babel.

19 For thus he says Yahweh of hosts concerning the pillars and on the sea and on the stands and on [the] remainder of the articles which remain in the city this.

Sebab Aku, TUHAN Yang Mahakuasa, Allah Israel, telah memutuskan bahwa semua barang itu akan diangkut ke Babel, dan akan tetap di sana sampai Aku memperhatikannya lagi. Pada waktu itu barulah Aku membawanya kembali ke tempat ini. Aku, TUHAN, telah berbicara." Barang-barang yang masih ada di Rumah TUHAN itu ialah: tiang-tiang, bejana perunggu, kereta-kereta, dan beberapa barang lain milik Rumah TUHAN. Barang-barang itu tidak ikut dibawa ke Babel, ketika Yoyakhin putra Yoyakim raja Yehuda serta pemuka-pemuka masyarakat Yehuda dan Yerusalem diangkut ke Babel oleh Raja Nebukadnezar.

20 Which not he took them Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon when took into exile he (Jeconiah *Q(k)*) [the] son of Jehoiakim [the] king of Judah from Jerusalem Babylon towards and all [the] nobles of Judah and Jerusalem.

21 For thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel on the articles which remain [the] house of Yahweh and [the] house of [the] king of Judah and Jerusalem.

22 Babylon towards they will be taken and there they will remain until [the] day give attention to I them [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will bring up them and I will bring back them to the place this.
