Jeremiah 27
1 In [the] beginning of [the] reign of Jehoiakim [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah it came the word this to Jeremiah from with Yahweh saying.
Au commencement du règne de Jéhojakim, fils de Josias, roi de Juda, cette parole fut adressée à Jérémie par l'Éternel, disant:
2 Thus he said Yahweh to me make for yourself fetters and yoke-bars and you will put them on neck your.
Ainsi m'a parlé l'Éternel: Fais-toi des chaînes et des jougs, et mets-les à ton col;
3 And you will send them to [the] king of Edom and to [the] king of Moab and to [the] king of [the] people of Ammon and to [the] king of Tyre and to [the] king of Sidon by [the] hand of messengers who have come Jerusalem to Zedekiah [the] king of Judah.
puis envoie-les au roi d'Édom, et au roi de Moab, et au roi des fils d'Ammon, et au roi de Tyr, et au roi de Sidon, par l'intermédiaire des députés venus à Jérusalem auprès de Sédécias, roi de Juda;
4 And you will command them to masters their saying thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel thus you will say to masters your.
et donne-leur mes ordres pour leurs maîtres en ces termes: Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées, Dieu d'Israël: Ainsi parlerez-vous à vos maîtres:
5 I I made the earth humankind and the animal[s] which [are] on [the] surface of the earth by power my great and by arm my outstretched and I give it to [those] whom it is pleasing in view my.
C'est moi qui ai fait la terre, et l'homme et les animaux qui sont sur la terre, par ma grande puissance et par mon bras étendu, et je les donne à qui bon me semble;
6 And now I I give all the lands these in [the] hand of Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon servant my and also [the] animal[s] of the field I give to him to serve him.
et maintenant je remets tous ces pays entre les mains de Nébucadnézar, roi de Babel, mon serviteur; et je lui donne aussi les bêtes des champs pour lui être assujetties,
7 And they will serve him all the nations and son his and [the] son of son his until comes [the] time of land his also he and they will work by him nations many and kings great.
et tous les peuples lui seront assujettis, à lui et à son fils, et au fils de son fils, jusqu'à ce que le temps de son pays arrive aussi, et que des peuples nombreux et de grands rois l'asservissent.
8 And it will be the nation and the kingdom which not they will serve him Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon and which not it will put neck its in [the] yoke of [the] king of Babylon with the sword and with famine and with pestilence I will visit [judgment] on the nation that [the] utterance of Yahweh until have consumed I them by hand his.
Et le peuple et le royaume qui ne se soumettra pas à lui, à Nébucadnézar, roi de Babel, et celui qui ne présentera pas son col au joug du roi de Babel, ce peuple-là, je le châtierai de l'épée, et de la famine, et de la peste, dit l'Éternel, jusqu'à ce que je l'aie exterminé par sa main.
9 And you may not you listen to prophets your and to diviners your and to dreams your and to soothsayers your and to sorcerers your who they [are] saying to you saying not you will serve [the] king of Babylon.
Et vous, n'écoutez pas vos prophètes, ni vos devins, ni vos songes, ni vos magiciens, ni vos enchanteurs qui en vous parlant vous disent: Vous ne serez pas asservis au roi de Babel;
10 For falsehood they [are] prophesying to you so as to remove far away you from on land your and I will drive out you and you will perish.
car c'est le mensonge qu'ils vous prophétisent, afin de vous bannir de votre pays, et afin que je vous chasse et que vous périssiez.
11 And the nation which it will bring neck its in [the] yoke of [the] king of Babylon and it will serve him and I will let remain it on land its [the] utterance of Yahweh and it will work it and it will dwell in it.
Mais le peuple qui passera son col dans le joug du roi de Babel, et se soumettra à lui, je le laisserai sur son sol, dit l'Éternel, pour qu'il le cultive et y demeure.
12 And to Zedekiah [the] king of Judah I spoke according to all the words these saying bring necks your in [the] yoke of [the] king of Babylon and serve him and people his and live.
Et je parlai à Sédécias, roi de Juda, en ces mêmes termes, disant: Passez vos cols dans le joug du roi de Babel, et soumettez-vous à lui et à son peuple, afin que vous viviez.
13 Why? will you die you and people your by the sword by famine and by pestilence just as he has spoken Yahweh to the nation which not it will serve [the] king of Babylon.
Pourquoi voudriez-vous, toi et ton peuple, mourir par l'épée, la famine et la peste, comme l'Éternel en a menacé le peuple qui ne se soumettra pas au roi de Babel?
14 And may not you listen to [the] words of the prophets who say to you saying not you will serve [the] king of Babylon for falsehood they [are] prophesying to you.
Et n'écoutez pas les discours des prophètes qui vous disent: Vous ne serez pas asservis au roi de Babel; car c'est le mensonge qu'ils vous prophétisent.
15 For not I sent them [the] utterance of Yahweh and they [are] prophesying in name my to falsehood so as to drive out I you and you will perish you and the prophets who are prophesying to you.
Car je ne les ai pas envoyés, dit l'Éternel, et ils prophétisent en mon nom le mensonge, pour que je vous chasse, et que vous périssiez, vous et les prophètes qui vous prophétisent.
16 And to the priests and to all the people this I spoke saying thus he says Yahweh may not you listen to [the] words of prophets your who are prophesying to you saying there! [the] articles of [the] house of Yahweh [are] about to be brought back from Babylon now quickly for falsehood they [are] prophesying to you.
Et je parlai aux sacrificateurs et à tout ce peuple, disant: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: N'écoutez pas les discours de vos prophètes qui vous prophétisent disant: Voici, maintenant les meubles de la maison de l'Éternel seront bientôt rapportés de Babel! car c'est un mensonge qu'ils vous prophétisent.
17 May not you listen to them serve [the] king of Babylon and live why? will it become the city this a ruin.
Ne les écoutez pas, soumettez-vous au roi de Babel, et vous vivrez; pourquoi cette ville serait-elle dévastée?
18 And if [are] prophets they and if there [is] [the] word of Yahweh with them let them entreat please Yahweh of hosts to not go the articles - which remain in [the] house of Yahweh and [the] house of [the] king of Judah and in Jerusalem Babylon towards.
Que s'ils sont des prophètes, et si la parole de l'Éternel est avec eux, qu'ils demandent à l'Éternel des armées, que les meubles restés dans la maison de l'Éternel, et dans la maison du roi de Juda, et à Jérusalem, n'aillent point à Babel;
19 For thus he says Yahweh of hosts concerning the pillars and on the sea and on the stands and on [the] remainder of the articles which remain in the city this.
car ainsi prononce l'Éternel des armées sur les colonnes, et sur la mer, et sur les piédestaux, et sur les meubles restés dans cette ville,
20 Which not he took them Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon when took into exile he (Jeconiah *Q(k)*) [the] son of Jehoiakim [the] king of Judah from Jerusalem Babylon towards and all [the] nobles of Judah and Jerusalem.
que n'a point enlevés Nébucadnézar, roi de Babel, en emmenant captifs de Jérusalem à Babel Jéchonias, fils de Jéhojakim, roi de Juda, et tous les Grands de Juda et de Jérusalem –
21 For thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel on the articles which remain [the] house of Yahweh and [the] house of [the] king of Judah and Jerusalem.
car ainsi prononce l'Éternel des armées, Dieu d'Israël, sur les meubles qui restent dans la maison de l'Éternel, et dans la maison du roi de Juda et à Jérusalem:
22 Babylon towards they will be taken and there they will remain until [the] day give attention to I them [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will bring up them and I will bring back them to the place this.
ils iront à Babel, et y demeureront, jusqu'au jour où je m'aviserai d'eux, dit l'Éternel, et où je les ferai remonter et revenir en ce lieu-ci.
