Jeremiah 26
1 In [the] beginning of [the] reign of Jehoiakim [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah it came the word this from with Yahweh saying.
I den fyrste tidi som Jojakim Josiason, Juda-kongen, styrde, kom dette ordet frå Herren; han sagde:
2 Thus - he said Yahweh stand in [the] court of [the] house of Yahweh and you will speak to all [the] cities of Judah who come to bow down [the] house of Yahweh all the words which I have commanded you to speak to them may not you hold back a word.
So segjer Herren: Gakk i fyregarden til Herrens hus og tala mot Juda-byarne som kjem og tilbed i Herrens hus, tala alle dei ordi som eg hev bode deg å tala til deim! Tak ikkje undan eit einaste ord!
3 Perhaps they will listen and they may turn back everyone from way his evil and I will repent concerning the calamity which I [am] planning to do to them because of [the] wickedness of deeds their.
Må henda dei kunde høyra og snu seg, kvar og ein frå sin vonde veg; då vil eg angra det vonde som eg tenkjer å gjera mot deim for den vonde framferdi deira.
4 And you will say to them thus he says Yahweh if not you will listen to me to walk in law my which I have set before you.
Og du skal segja med deim: So segjer Herren: Um de ikkje høyrer på meg og ferdast i den lovi som eg hev lagt fram for dykk,
5 To listen to [the] words of servants my the prophets whom I [have been] sending to you and rising early and sending and not you have listened.
so høyrer ordi åt tenarane mine, profetarne, som eg sender dykk jamt og samt, endå de ikkje vil høyra,
6 And I will make the house this like Shiloh and the city (this *Q(k)*) I will make into a curse for all [the] nations of the earth.
då vil eg fara åt med dette huset likeins som med Silo, og alle folkeslag på jord bruka denne byen til ei våbøn.
7 And they heard the priests and the prophets and all the people Jeremiah speaking the words these in [the] house of Yahweh.
Og prestarne og profetarne og alt folket høyrde Jeremia tala desse ordi i Herrens hus.
8 And it was - when had finished Jeremiah to speak all that he had commanded Yahweh to speak to all the people and they seized him the priests and the prophets and all the people saying certainly you will die.
Og då Jeremia hadde tala til endes alt det som Herren hadde bode honom å tala til heile folket, då tok prestarne og profetarne og alt folket honom og sagde: «No skal du døy.
9 Why? have you prophesied in [the] name of Yahweh saying like Shiloh it will be the house this and the city this it will be desolate from not inhabitant and it assembled all the people to Jeremiah in [the] house of Yahweh.
Kvi hev du spått i Herrens namn og sagt: «Det skal ganga med dette huset likeins som med Silo, og denne byen skal verta øydelagd so ingen bur her?»» Og alt folket samla seg imot Jeremia i Herrens hus.
10 And they heard - [the] officials of Judah the things these and they came up from [the] house of the king [the] house of Yahweh and they sat at [the] entrance of [the] gate of Yahweh new.
Og då Juda-hovdingarne frette dette, gjekk dei frå kongsgarden upp til Herrens hus og sette seg i inngangen til Herrens port, den nye.
11 And they said the priests and the prophets to the officials and to all the people saying a sentence of death [belongs] to the man this for he has prophesied against the city this just as you have heard with own ears your.
Då sagde prestarne og profetarne med hovdingarne og med alt folket: «Denne mannen er skuldig til å døy; for han hev spått mot denne byen, so som de hev høyrt med dykkar eigne øyro.»
12 And he said Jeremiah to all the officials and to all the people saying Yahweh he sent me to prophesy against the house this and against the city this all the words which you have heard.
Då sagde Jeremia med alle hovdingarne og med alt folket: «Herren hev sendt meg til å spå imot dette huset og denne byen alt det som de hev høyrt.
13 And therefore make good ways your and deeds your and listen to [the] voice of Yahweh God your so he may repent Yahweh concerning the calamity which he has spoken on you.
Lat då dykkar vegar og gjerningar betrast, og høyr på Herren, dykkar Guds røyst! So vil Herren angra det vonde som han hev tala imot dykk.
14 And I here I [am] in hand your do to me according to the good and according to the right in view your.
Men eg, sjå, eg er i dykkar hand: gjer med meg det de tykkjer godt og rett!
15 Only - certainly you will know that except [are] about to put to death you me for blood innocent you [are] about to put on yourselves and to the city this and to inhabitants its for in truth he has sent me Yahweh to you to speak in ears your all the words these.
Men det skal de vita, at um de drep meg, so let de skuldlaust blod koma yver dykk og yver denne byen og yver deim som her bur. For Herren hev i sanning sendt meg til dykk å tala for øyro dykkar alle desse ordi.»
16 And they said the officials and all the people to the priests and to the prophets not [belongs] to the man this a sentence of death for in [the] name of Yahweh God our he has spoken to us.
Då sagde hovdingarne og alt folket til prestarne og profetarne: «Denne mannen er ikkje skuldig til å døy, for i Herrens, vår Guds, namn hev han tala til oss.»
17 And they arose men from [the] elders of the land and they said to all [the] assembly of the people saying.
Og nokre av dei øvste i landet stod upp og sagde til heile folkehopen:
18 (Micah *Q(K)*) the Morasthite he was prophesying in [the] days of Hezekiah [the] king of Judah and he said to all [the] people of Judah saying thus he says - Yahweh of hosts Zion a field it will be plowed and Jerusalem heaps of ruins it will be and [the] mountain of the house high places of a forest.
«Mika frå Moreset spådde i dei dagarne då Hizkia var konge i Juda, og sagde til alt folket i Juda: «So segjer Herren, allhers drott: Sion skal verta pløgt til åker, og Jerusalem skal verta til steinrøysar og tempelberget til skograbbar.»
19 ¿ Really did they put to death him Hezekiah [the] king of Judah and all Judah ¿ not was he fearing Yahweh and did he entreat [the] face of Yahweh and he repented Yahweh concerning the calamity which he had spoken on them and we [are] about to do an evil great on selves our.
Tok då Hizkia, Juda-kongen, og alt Juda og drap honom? Ottast han ikkje Herren og blidka Herren, so han angra på det vonde han hadde tala imot deim? Men me held på å koma oss i den største ulukka.»
20 And also a man he was prophesying in [the] name of Yahweh Uriah [the] son of Shemaiah from Kiriath Jearim and he prophesied on the city this and on the land this like all [the] words of Jeremiah.
Det var og ein annan mann som spådde i Herrens namn, Uria Semajason frå Kirjat-Jearim. Og han spådde mot denne byen og dette landet nett på same måten som Jeremia.
21 And he heard the king Jehoiakim and all warriors his and all the officials words his and he sought the king to put to death him and he heard Uriah and he was afraid and he fled and he went Egypt.
Men då kong Jojakim og alle hans kjempor og alle hans hovdingar høyrde ordi hans, so vilde kongen drepa honom. Men då Uria frette det, vart han rædd og flydde burt kom til Egyptarland.
22 And he sent the king Jehoiakim men Egypt Elnathan [the] son of Achbor and men with him to Egypt.
Då sende kong Jojakim nokre menner til Egyptarland, Elnatan Akborsson og menner med honom inn i Egyptarland.
23 And they brought out Uriah from Egypt and they took him to the king Jehoiakim and he struck him with the sword and he threw corpse his to [the] graves of [the] sons of the people.
Og dei tok Uria ut or Egyptarlandet og for med honom til kong Jojakim, og han let drepa honom med sverd og kasta liket hans millom ålmuge-graverne.
24 Nevertheless [the] hand of Ahikam [the] son of Shaphan it was with Jeremiah to not to give him in [the] hand of the people to put to death him.
Men Ahikam Safansson heldt si hand yver Jeremia, so han ikkje vart gjeven i henderne på folket og miste livet.
