Jeremiah 25
1 The word which it came to Jeremiah on all [the] people of Judah in the year fourth of Jehoiakim [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah it [was] the year first of Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon.
Okwu ruru Jeremaya ntị banyere ndị Juda niile, nʼafọ nke anọ nke ọchịchị eze Jehoiakim, nwa Josaya na Juda. Ọ bụkwa nʼafọ nke mbụ nke ọchịchị eze Nebukadneza na Babilọn.
2 Which he spoke Jeremiah the prophet to all [the] people of Judah and to all [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem saying.
Ya mere, ihe ndị a ka Jeremaya, bụ onye amụma gwara ndị Juda na ndị niile bi na Jerusalem:
3 Since thir-teen year of Josiah [the] son of Amon [the] king of Judah and until - the day this this three and twenty year[s] it has come [the] word of Yahweh to me and I have spoken to you rising early and speaking and not you have listened.
Kemgbe afọ iri abụọ na atọ, sitekwa nʼafọ iri na atọ nke ọchịchị eze Josaya nwa Amọn, bụ eze Juda ruo taa, ka okwu Onyenwe anyị ruru m ntị, a gwara m unu okwu, mgbe na mgbe, ma unu jụrụ ige ntị nʼihe m gwara unu.
4 And he sent Yahweh to you all servants his the prophets rising early and sending and not you listened and not you inclined ear your to listen.
Ọ bụkwa ezie na Onyenwe anyị eziterela unu ndị ohu ya bụ ndị amụma site nʼoge ruo nʼoge ma unu ajụla ige ntị. Unu jụkwara ịṅa ntị nʼihe ha na-ekwu.
5 Saying turn back please everyone from way his evil and from [the] wickedness of deeds your and dwell on the land which he gave Yahweh to you and to ancestors your from antiquity and until perpetuity.
Ozi ha ziri unu bụ nke a, “Unu niile nʼotu nʼotu sitenụ nʼụzọ ọjọọ unu na ndụ ọjọọ unu tụgharịa, ka unu nwee ike ibigide nʼala a Onyenwe anyị nyere unu na nna nna unu ha ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
6 And may not you walk after gods other to serve them and to bow down to them and not you must provoke to anger me by [the] work of hands your and not I will do harm to you.
Unu agbasola maọbụ fee, maọbụ kpọọ isiala nye chi ndị ọzọ; unu ejila arụsị unu ji aka unu mee kpasuo m iwe, ka m ghara imerụ unu ahụ.
7 And not you have listened to me [the] utterance of Yahweh so as (to provoke to anger me *Q(K)*) by [the] work of hands your for harm of you.
“Ma unu jụrụ ige m ntị,” otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara. “Unu ejirila arụsị unu ji aka unu mee kpasuo m iwe, si otu a wetara onwe unu mmerụ ahụ.”
8 Therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts because that not you have listened to words my.
Ya mere, Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile na-asị, “Ebe ọ bụ na unu ajụla ige ntị nʼokwu m.
9 Here I [am] about to send and I will fetch all [the] clans of [the] north [the] utterance of Yahweh and to Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon servant my and I will bring them on the land this and on inhabitants its and on all the nations these round about and I will totally destroy them and I will make them into a waste and into a hissing and into ruins of perpetuity.
Aga m akpọku ndị ahụ si nʼugwu, ha na ohu m bụ Nebukadneza, eze Babilọn.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri, “Aga m eme ka ha bịa megide ala a, na ndị bi nʼime ya. Ha ga-emegidekwa mba niile gbara ala a gburugburu. Aga m ebibi ha niile kpamkpam, mee ha ka ha ghọọ ihe iju anya, na ihe a na-elelị. Ha ga-aghọkwa mkpọmkpọ ebe ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
10 And I will destroy from them [the] sound of joy and [the] sound of gladness [the] sound of a bridegroom and [the] sound of a bride [the] sound of a hand-mill and [the] light of a lamp.
Aga m emekwa ka olu obi ụtọ na ọṅụ, na olu ndị ikom na ndị inyom na-alụ di na nwunye, na olu ndị na-akwọ ọka, na ìhè nke oriọna na-enye, hapụkwa ịdị nʼime ya.
11 And it will become all the land this a desolation a waste and they will serve the nations these [the] king of Babylon seventy year[s].
Ala a niile ga-aghọ mkpọmkpọ ebe tọgbọrọ nʼefu, mba ndị a niile ga-ejere eze Babilọn ozi iri afọ asaa.
12 And it will be when are completed seventy year[s] I will visit [judgment] on [the] king of Babylon and on the nation that [the] utterance of Yahweh iniquity their and on [the] land of [the] Chaldeans and I will make it into desolations of perpetuity.
“Ma mgbe iri afọ asaa zuru, aga m ata eze Babilọn na mba ya, bụ ala ndị Babilọn, ahụhụ nʼihi ajọ omume ha,” otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri, “Aga m emekwa ka ala ahụ ghọọ mkpọmkpọ ebe ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
13 (And I will bring *Q(k)*) on the land that all words my which I spoke on it every [thing] written in the book this which he prophesied Jeremiah on all the nations.
Aga m emekwa ka ihe niile m buru ụzọ kwuo megide ala ahụ bịakwasị ya, bụ ihe niile e dere nʼakwụkwọ a, na ihe niile Jeremaya buru nʼamụma megide mba niile dị iche iche.
14 For they will work by them also they nations many and kings great and I will repay to them according to deed[s] their and according to [the] work of hands their.
A ga-eme ka ha ghọọ ndị ohu nye mba dị iche iche na nke ndị eze dị ukwuu. Aga m akwụghachikwa ha dịka omume ha si dị, na dịka akaọrụ ha si dịkwa.”
15 For thus he said Yahweh [the] God of Israel to me take [the] cup of wine the rage this from hand my and you will make drink it all the nations which I [am] sending you to them.
Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị, Chineke Izrel gwara m, “Nara m iko a dị m nʼaka, nke a gbajuru mmanya ọnụma m, gaa mee ka mba niile m zigara gị ijekwuru ṅụrụ site na mmanya ọnụma m dị nʼime ya.
16 And they will drink and they will stagger to and fro and they will act like mad people because of the sword which I [am] about to send between them.
Mgbe ha ṅụrụ ya, ha ga-adagharị, malitekwa ịyị ara nʼihi mma agha, nke m ga-ezite nʼetiti ha.”
17 And I took the cup from [the] hand of Yahweh and I made drink all the nations which he sent me Yahweh to them.
Ya mere, esi m nʼaka Onyenwe anyị nara iko ahụ, meekwa ka mba ndị ahụ niile o ziri m ka m jekwuru ṅụrụ ihe dị nʼime ya.
18 Jerusalem and [the] cities of Judah and kings its officials its to make them into a ruin into a waste into a hissing and into a curse as the day this.
Jerusalem na obodo Juda niile, na ndị eze ha, na ndịisi ọchịchị ha, si nʼiko ahụ ṅụrụ ihe dị nʼime ya, nʼihi ime ka e bibie ha, ka ha ghọọ ihe iju anya, na ihe nkọcha, na ihe a bụrụ ọnụ, dịka ha dị taa.
19 Pharaoh [the] king of Egypt and servants his and officials his and all people his.
Fero, eze Ijipt, na ndị na-ejere ya ozi, na ndịisi ọchịchị ya, na ndị ya niile,
20 And every foreigner and all [the] kings of [the] land of Uz and all [the] kings of [the] land of [the] Philistines and Ashkelon and Gaza and Ekron and [the] remnant of Ashdod.
na ndị mba ọzọ niile bi nʼebe ahụ; na ndị eze Uz; na ndị eze ndị Filistia niile, bụ nke ndị Ashkelọn, na Gaza, na Ekrọn, na ndị fọdụrụ nʼime Ashdọd.
21 Edom and Moab and [the] people of Ammon.
Ndị eze Edọm, na Moab, na ndị Amọn;
22 And all [the] kings of Tyre and all [the] kings of Sidon and [the] kings of the coastland which [is] on [the] other side of the sea.
na ndị eze Taịa na Saịdọn, na ndị eze obodo ha dị nʼakụkụ osimiri, nke dị nʼofe nke ọzọ;
23 And Dedan and Tema and Buz and all [those who] are cut off of [the] corner.
na ala Dedan, na Tema, na Buz, na ndị niile bi nʼebe dị anya.
24 And all [the] kings of Arabia and all [the] kings of the Arab[s] who dwell in the wilderness.
Na ndị eze Arebịa, na ndị eze mba niile ndị ahụ bi nʼọzara;
25 And - all [the] kings of Zimri and all [the] kings of Elam and all [the] kings of Media.
na ndị eze Zimri, na Elam, na Midia;
26 And - all [the] kings of the north near and far each to brother his and all the kingdoms of the earth which [are] on [the] surface of the ground and [the] king of Sheshach he will drink after them.
na ndị eze ala dị nʼugwu, na mba dị nso, na mba dị anya, ha niile nʼotu nʼotu, na alaeze niile dị nʼụwa. Mgbe eze ndị a niile ṅụtụrụ site nʼihe dị nʼiko ahụ, eze Sheshak ga-esitekwa na ya ṅụrụ.
27 And you will say to them. Thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel drink and become drunk and vomit and fall down and not you will rise because of the sword which I [am] about to send between you.
“Mgbe ahụ, gwakwa ha sị, ‘Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile, bụ Chineke Izrel kwuru: Ṅụọnụ, ṅụbiganụ oke; gbọọkwanụ agbọọ, daanụ nʼala ebe unu na-agaghị esi bilitekwa ọzọ, nʼihi mma agha m ga-ezite nʼetiti unu.’
28 And it will be that they will refuse to take the cup from hand your to drink and you will say to them thus he says Yahweh of hosts certainly you will drink.
Ọ bụrụ na ha ajụ ịnara gị iko a site na ya ṅụtụ ihe dị ya nʼime, gwa ha sị, ‘Unu ga-aṅụrịrị ya, nʼihi na otu a ka Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile kwuru.
29 For here! on the city which it is called name my on it I [am] beginning to do harm and you certainly will you be exempt from punishment? not you will be exempt from punishment for a sword I [am] calling on all [the] inhabitants of the earth [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts.
Lee, ana m amalite ime ka mbibi bịakwasị obodo ahụ a kpọkwasịrị aha m. Ma unu ga-esi aṅaa gbanarị ahụhụ? Unu agaghị agbanarị ahụhụ, nʼihi na ana m enye iwu ka e webata mma agha nʼetiti ndị niile bi nʼụwa. Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile kwubiri.’
30 And you you will prophesy to them all the words these and you will say to them Yahweh from a high place he will roar and from [the] dwelling of holiness his he will give forth voice his certainly he will roar on habitation his a shout like [those who] tread he will sing to all [the] inhabitants of the earth.
“Ugbu a buo amụma ndị a niile megide ha, sị ha, “‘Onyenwe anyị ga-esi nʼelu bigbọọ; ọ ga-esitekwa nʼebe obibi ya dị nsọ mee ka olu ya daa ụda. Ọ ga-ebigbọsị ike megide ala ya Ọ ga-eti mkpu dịka ndị ahụ na-azọcha mkpụrụ vaịnị; ọ ga-eti mkpu megide ndị niile bi nʼụwa.
31 It has come an uproar to [the] end of the earth for a controversy [belongs] to Yahweh on the nations [is] about to enter into judgment he to all flesh the wicked [people] he has delivered up them to the sword [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Ụda mkpọtụ ahụ ga-eru na nsọtụ niile nke ụwa, nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị ga-ebo mba niile nke ụwa ebubo. Ọ ga-eme ka ikpe ọmụma rute mmadụ niile, meekwa ka e jiri mma agha bibie ndị ajọ omume.’” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.
32 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts there! calamity [is] about to go forth from nation to nation and a storm great it will be roused from [the] remotest parts of [the] earth.
Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile kwuru, “Lee, mbibi na-agbasa site nʼotu mba na-eru na mba ọzọ; oke ifufe na-abịakwa site na nsọtụ niile nke ụwa.”
33 And they will be [those] slain of Yahweh on the day that from [the] end of the earth and to [the] end of the earth not they will be mourned and not they will be gathered and not they will be buried dung on [the] surface of the ground they will become.
Nʼoge ahụ, ndị ahụ Onyenwe anyị ga-egbu ga-atọgbọrọ nʼebe niile, site nʼotu nsọtụ nke ụwa ruo na nke ọzọ. A gaghị eli ha, o nwekwaghị onye ga-akwa ha. Kama ha ga-atọgbọrọ nʼala dịka unyi.
34 Wail O shepherds and cry out and roll in ashes O noble [ones] of the flock for they have been completed days your to slaughter and dispersions your and you will fall like a vessel of desire.

35 And it will be lost a place of escape from the shepherds and escape from [the] noble [ones] of the flock.

36 [the] sound of [the] cry of distress of The shepherds and [the] wailing of [the] noble [ones] of the flock for [is] destroying Yahweh pasture their.
Geenụ ntị ka unu nụrụ ịkwa akwa ndị ọzụzụ atụrụ, geenụ ntị nụrụ mkpu akwa ndị ndu igwe ewu na atụrụ, nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị na-ebibi ebe ịta nri ha.
37 And they will be devastated [the] pastures of peace because of [the] burning of [the] anger of Yahweh.
Ebe mmakpu ọma niile nke anụ ụlọ ga-aghọkwa mkpọmkpọ ebe, nʼihi oke iwe nke Onyenwe anyị.
38 He has left like young lion lair his for it has become land their a waste because of [the] anger of the oppressor and because of [the] burning of anger his.
