Jeremiah 23
1 Woe to! [the] shepherds [who] are causing to stray and [who are] scattering [the] flock of pasture my [the] utterance of Yahweh.
“Ahụhụ dịrị ndị ọzụzụ atụrụ ahụ na-achụsasị, ma na-ebibi igwe atụrụ m ha kwesiri ilekọtazi anya.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara.
2 Therefore thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel on the shepherds who are shepherding people my you you have scattered flock my and you have driven away them and not you have paid attention to them here I [am] about to visit on you [the] wickedness of deeds your [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Ya mere, ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị, Chineke Izrel na-agwa ndị ọzụzụ atụrụ ahụ na-elekọta ndị m, “Ebe ọ bụ na unu akpasasịala igwe ewu na atụrụ m, chụsaa ha, kama ilekọtazi ha anya nke ọma, aga m ata unu ahụhụ nʼihi ihe ọjọọ ndị a unu mere.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.
3 And I I will gather together [the] remnant of flock my from all the lands where I have banished them there and I will bring back them to pasture their and they will be fruitful and they will increase.
“Mụ onwe m ga-eji aka m chịkọta ndị m fọdụrụ nʼigwe ewu na atụrụ m site na mba ahụ niile m chụgara ha, kpọghachikwa ha nʼebe ịta nri ha, ebe ha ga-anọ mụbaa, dị ukwuu nʼọnụọgụgụ.
4 And I will raise up over them shepherds and they will shepherd them and not they will be afraid again and not they will be terrified and not they will be missing [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Aga m ahọpụtakwa ndị ọzụzụ atụrụ, ndị ga-elekọtazi ha anya. Egwu agaghị atụ ha, ọ dịkwaghị onye ga-emenye ha ụjọ. O nwekwaghị onye ga-akpafu akpafu nʼime ha.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.
5 Here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will raise up for David a branch righteous and he will reign a king and he will act prudently and he will do justice and righteousness in the land.
“Ụbọchị ndị ahụ na-abịa,” ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara, “mgbe m ga-eme ka Ngalaba na-eme ezi omume bilie nʼezinaụlọ Devid. Ọ ga-abụ Eze ga-eji amamihe chịa ndị ya. Ọ ga-eme ezi ihe, kpeekwa ikpe ziri ezi nʼala ahụ.
6 In days his it will be saved Judah and Israel it will dwell to security and this [will be] name his which anyone will call him Yahweh - [is] righteousness our.
Nʼụbọchị, ya ka a ga-azọpụta Juda, Izrel ga-ebikwa nʼudo. Nke a bụ aha a ga-akpọ ya: Onyenwe anyị Onye Nzọpụta, bụ Ezi omume Anyị.
7 Therefore here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and not people will say again [by] [the] life of Yahweh who he brought up [the] people of Israel from [the] land of Egypt.
“Nʼihi nke a, ụbọchị ahụ na-abịa,” ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara, “mgbe ndị mmadụ na-agaghị asịkwa ọzọ, ‘Dịka Onyenwe anyị na-adị ndụ, bụ onye sitere nʼala Ijipt dupụta ndị Izrel,’
8 That except [by] [the] life of Yahweh who he brought up and who he brought [the] offspring of [the] house of Israel from a land north-ward and from all the lands where I banished them there and they will dwell on own land their.
ma ha ga-asị, ‘Dịka Onyenwe anyị na-adị ndụ, bụ onye ahụ kpọlatara agbụrụ Izrel site nʼala dị nʼugwu, na mba dị iche iche ebe ọ chụgara ha.’ Mgbe ahụ, ha ga-ebi nʼala nke aka ha.”
9 Of the prophets it is broken heart my in inner being my they have become weak all bones my I have become like a person drunken and like a man [whom] it has passed over him wine because of Yahweh and because of [the] words of holiness his.
Ma banyere ndị amụma, obi m na-agbawa nʼime m, ọkpụkpụ m na-amakwa jijiji nʼihi ha. Adị m dịka nwoke mmanya na-egbu, dịka onye ṅụbigara mmanya oke, nʼihi ihe na-eche ha site nʼaka Onyenwe anyị, na site nʼokwu nsọ ya.
10 For adulterers it is full the land for because of a curse it has dried up the land they have become dry [the] pastures of [the] wilderness and it has become course [of life] their evil and strength their [is] not right.
Ndị jupụtara nʼala a bụ ndị na-akwa iko. Nʼihi ịbụ ọnụ ndị a niile ala a tọgbọrọ nʼefu, ahịhịa niile dị nʼọzara akpọnwụọla. Ndị amụma na-agbasokwa ihe ọjọọ. Ha na-egosikwa ike ha nʼụzọ na-ezighị ezi.
11 For both prophet as well as priest they are polluted also in house my I have found wickedness their [the] utterance of Yahweh.
“Nʼihi na ndị amụma na ndị nchụaja aghọọla ndị na-amaghị Chineke. Ọ bụladị nʼime ụlọnsọ ukwu m ka m na-ahụ ajọ omume ha.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara.
12 Therefore it will become path their for them like slippery places in the darkness they will be pushed down and they will fall on it for I will bring on them calamity [the] year of punishment their [the] utterance of Yahweh.
“Nʼihi ya, ụzọ ha na-agbaso ga-adị ka ebe na-amị amị; a ga-achụbanye ha nʼọchịchịrị ebe ahụ ka ha ga-anọkwa daa. Aga m eme ka ihe mbibi bịakwasị ha nʼafọ ahụ, a ga-ata ha ahụhụ.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri ya.
13 And among [the] prophets of Samaria I saw offensiveness they prophesied by Baal and they caused to err people my Israel.
“Ahụrụ m ihe arụ nʼetiti ndị amụma Sameria: Ha buru amụma site nʼike chi Baal, si otu a duba ndị m, bụ Izrel na mmehie.
14 And among [the] prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible [thing] they have committed adultery and they have walked in falsehood and they have strengthened [the] hands of evil-doers to not they have turned away anyone from evil his they have become to me all of them like Sodom and inhabitants its like Gomorrah.
Ahụkwara m ihe jọgburu onwe ya nʼetiti ndị amụma nọ na Jerusalem. Ha na-ebi ndụ ịkwa iko, na ikwu okwu ụgha. Ha na-agba ndị ajọ omume ume, si otu a na-egbochi ha isi nʼihe ọjọọ ha tụgharịa. Ha niile dịka ndị Sọdọm nʼebe m nọ; ndị Jerusalem dịkwa ka ndị Gọmọra nʼihu m.”
15 Therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts on the prophets here I [am] about to make eat them wormwood and I will make drink them water of poison for from with [the] prophets of Jerusalem it has gone out wicked behavior to all the land.
Nʼihi nke a, ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile kwuru banyere ndị amụma a, “Aga m eme ka ha rie nri na-akụ ilu, meekwa ka ha ṅụọ mmiri e tinyere nsi, nʼihi na mmụọ nke amaghị Chineke esitela nʼaka ndị amụma nọ na Jerusalem gbasaa ruo ndị niile bi nʼala ahụ.”
16 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts may not you listen to [the] words of the prophets who are prophesying to you [are] deluding they you [the] vision of own heart their they speak not from [the] mouth of Yahweh.
Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile kwuru, “Unu aṅala ntị nʼihe ndị amụma ahụ na-eburu unu nʼamụma, nʼihi na olileanya ha na-ewetara unu abụghị ezi olileanya. Ọhụ ha na-agwa unu na ha hụrụ bụ ihe ha chepụtara nʼobi ha, o sighị nʼọnụ Onyenwe anyị rute ha
17 [they are] saying Continually to [those who] despise me he says Yahweh peace it will belong to you and every [one who] walks in [the] stubbornness of own heart his they have said not it will come on you calamity.
Ha na-anọgide na-agwa ndị ahụ na-elelị m anya na-asị ha, ‘Onyenwe anyị kwuru sị, unu ga-enwe udo.’ Ndị ahụ niile na-agbasokwa ụzọ isiike nke obi ha tụpụtara, ka ha na-agwakwa okwu sị, ‘O nweghị ihe ọjọọ ga-abịakwasị gị.’
18 For who? has he stood in [the] council of Yahweh so he may see and he may hear word his who? has he paid attention to (word his *Q(K)*) and has he listened?
Ma olee onye ọ bụ nʼetiti ndị amụma a nke na-abịaru Onyenwe anyị nso, hụ ya anya maọbụ ịnụ ihe ọ na-ekwu? Onye kwa nʼetiti ha nwerela ike ṅaa ntị nụrụ okwu ya?
19 There! - [the] storm of Yahweh rage it has gone out and a storm whirling on [the] head of wicked [people] it will whirl about.
Lee, Onyenwe anyị na-ezite oke ifufe na-efesi ike, ọ bụ oke ifufe nke iwe ya, nke ga-abịa bufuo ndị ajọ omume a.
20 Not it will turn back [the] anger of Yahweh until has brought about he and until has carried out he [the] purposes of heart his at [the] end of the days you will understand it understanding.
Onyenwe anyị agaghị akwụsị iwe iwe ya tutu ruo mgbe o mezuru ihe niile dị ya nʼobi. Nʼụbọchị ndị ahụ na-abịa nʼihu, unu ga-aghọta ihe ndị a niile nke ọma.
21 Not I sent the prophets and they they ran not I spoke to them and they they prophesied.
Ọ bụghị m zitere ndị amụma a, ma ha na-ekwu na ọ bụ okwu si m nʼọnụ ka ha na-ekwu. O nwebeghị oge m ji gwa ha okwu, ma ha nọkwa na-ebu amụma.
22 And if they had stood in council my so they may cause to hear words my people my and they will turn back them from way their wicked and from [the] wickedness of deeds their.
A sị na ha abịala nso guzo nʼebe ịgba izu nzuzo m, ha gaara ekwusara ndị m okwu m, nke gaara eme ka ha site nʼajọ omume ha tụgharịa, sitekwa nʼụzọ ọjọọ ha chigharịa.
23 ¿ A God from near [am] I [the] utterance of Yahweh and not a God from a distance.
“Abụ m naanị Chineke na-anọ ha nso, ma adịghị m anọ nʼebe dị anya?” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara.
24 Or? will he hide himself anyone in hiding places and I not I will see him [the] utterance of Yahweh ¿ not the heavens and the earth [am] I filling [the] utterance of Yahweh.
“O nwere onye pụrụ izo onwe ya nʼebe nzuzo nke m na-enweghị ike ịhụ anya?” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara. “Ọ bụ na m anọghị nʼebe niile nʼeluigwe nakwa nʼụwa?” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara.
25 I have heard [that] which they have said the prophets who prophesy in name my falsehood saying I have dreamed I have dreamed.
“Anụla m ka ndị amụma a, bụ ndị na-ebu amụma ụgha nʼaha m na-ekwu na-asị, ‘Arọrọ m nrọ! Arọrọ m nrọ!’
26 Until when? ¿ [is] there in [the] heart of the prophets [who] prophesy falsehood and [the] prophets of [the] deceitfulness of own heart their.
Ruo ole mgbe ka ihe dị otu a ga-adịgide nʼobi ndị amụma ndị a, ndị na-ebu amụma aghụghọ dị ha nʼobi?
27 Who plan to make forget people my name my by dreams their which they recount each to neighbor his just as they forgot ancestors their name my for Baal.
Ha na-eche na nrọ ha na-akọrịtara ibe ha ga-eme ka ndị mmadụ chezọọ aha m, dịka ndị nna nna ha si chezọọ aha m site nʼịkpọ isiala nye Baal.
28 The prophet whom [is] with him a dream let him recount [the] dream and whom word my [is] with him let him speak word my faithfulness what? [belongs] to the straw with the grain [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Ka onye amụma ahụ rọrọ nrọ kọgharịa nro ọ rọrọ. Otu a kwa, ka onye ahụ okwu m dị nʼọnụ ya nọgidekwa na-ekwusa ya nʼeziokwu. Nʼihi na gịnị ka okporo ọka na mkpụrụ ọka nwekọrọ?” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara.
29 ¿ Not thus [is] word my like fire [the] utterance of Yahweh and like a hammer [which] it shatters rock.
“Okwu m ọ dịghị ka ọkụ? Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara, Okwu m ọ dịkwaghị ka okporo igwe nke na-etiwasị nkume?”
30 Therefore here I [am] on the prophets [the] utterance of Yahweh [who] steal words my each from with neighbor his.
Nʼihi ya, Onyenwe anyị kwubiri sị, “Ana m edo onwe m megide ndị amụma na-esite nʼọnụ ibe ha na-ezute okwu ha na-ekwu, ma na-asị na ọ bụ nʼọnụ m ka ha si nata ya.
31 Here I [am] on the prophets [the] utterance of Yahweh who take tongue their and they have uttered an utterance.
E, otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri, Ana m edo onwe m megide ndị amụma ahụ ire ha na-ekwu ọtụtụ okwu, ndị ahụ na-asịkwa, ‘Ọ bụ ihe si nʼọnụ Onyenwe anyị pụta.’
32 Here I [am] on [those who] prophesy dreams of falsehood [the] utterance of Yahweh and they have recounted them and they caused to err people my by falsehoods their and by recklessness their and I not I sent them and not I appointed them and certainly not they benefit the people this [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Nʼezie, ana m edo onwe m megide ndị ahụ niile na-ebu amụma nro ụgha.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara. “Ha ji okwu ụgha ha na-agwa ndị m okwu, na-eduhie ha, ma ọ bụghị m họpụtara ha. Ọ bụkwaghị m zitere ha. Okwu ha adịghịkwa abara ndị m uru ọbụla.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara.
33 And if it will ask you the people this or the prophet or a priest saying what? [is] [the] burden of Yahweh and you will say to them what? burden and I will abandon you [the] utterance of Yahweh.
“Mgbe ndị a, maọbụ ndị amụma ha, maọbụ ndị nchụaja ha, jụrụ gị ajụjụ sị gị, ‘Gịnị bụ ozi i si nʼọnụ Onyenwe anyị nata?’ Ị ga-asa ha sị, ‘Ozi nke ole? Aga m agbakụta unu azụ, ya bụ ihe Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.’
34 And the prophet and the priest and the people who he will say [the] burden of Yahweh and I will visit [judgment] on the person that and on house his.
Ọ bụrụ na onye amụma maọbụ onye nchụaja maọbụ onye ọbụla ọzọ ekwuo sị, ‘Ihe dị otu a bụ ozi si nʼọnụ Onyenwe anyị,’ aga m ata onye ahụ kwuru okwu ahụ na ndị ezinaụlọ ya ahụhụ.
35 Thus you will say each to neighbor his and each to brother his what? did he answer Yahweh and what? did he say Yahweh.
Ihe ndị a bụ ihe unu na-agwarịta onwe unu nʼotu nʼotu. Ọ bụ ihe enyi na-agwa enyi ya, na ihe nwanna na-agwa nwanna Izrel ibe ya. Unu na-asị, ‘Gịnị bụ ọsịsa Onyenwe anyị nyere?’ maọbụ, ‘Gịnị bụ okwu e si nʼọnụ Onyenwe anyị nata?’
36 And [the] burden of Yahweh not you will remember again for the burden it is for a person own word his and you change [the] words of God living Yahweh of hosts God our.
Kwụsịnụ ịjụgharị ajụjụ banyere ihe Onyenwe anyị kwuru, nʼihi na okwu onye ọbụla nʼime unu kwuru na-aghọrọ onye ahụ ihe si nʼọnụ Onyenwe anyị pụta. Site nʼụzọ dị otu a unu na-agbanwe ma na-asụgharịkwa okwu Chineke dị ndụ isi, bụ okwu Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile, onye bụ Chineke anyị.
37 Thus you will say to the prophet what? did he answer you Yahweh and what? did he say Yahweh.
Ihe ndị a niile bụ ihe unu na-ajụkarị onye amụma, ‘Gịnị bụ ọsịsa Onyenwe anyị nyere gị? Maọbụ, gịnị ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru?’
38 And if [the] burden of Yahweh you will say therefore thus he says Yahweh because have spoken you the word this [the] burden of Yahweh and I sent to you saying not you must say [the] burden of Yahweh.
Ọ bụ ezie na unu na-ekwu sị, ‘Ihe ndị a bụ ozi si nʼaka Onyenwe anyị,’ ma lee ihe Onyenwe anyị na-ekwu: Unu na-ekwu okwu ndị a, ‘Ihe a bụ ozi si nʼaka Onyenwe anyị,’ ọ bụladị mgbe m gwarala unu si unu asịkwala ‘Ihe ndị a bụ ozi nʼaka Onyenwe anyị.’
39 Therefore here [am] I and I will surely you lift up and I will abandon you and the city which I gave to you and to ancestors your from on face my.
Ya mere, mụ onwe m ga-echezo unu kpamkpam ma sitekwa nʼihu m chụpụ unu na obodo a nke m nyere unu na nna nna unu ha.
40 And I will put on you a reproach of perpetuity and shame of perpetuity which not it will be forgotten.
Aga m eme ka ịta ụta ebighị ebi bịakwasị unu. Aga m etinyekwa unu nʼọnọdụ ihere nke ga-adịgide ruo ebighị ebi, e, ọnọdụ ihere nke a na-agaghị echefu echefu.”
