Jeremiah 19
1 Thus he said Yahweh go and you will buy a bottle of a potter of earthenware and some of [the] elders of the people and some of [the] elders of the priests.
Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Va, et achète une bouteille d'un potier, et [prends avec toi] des Anciens du peuple, et des Anciens des Sacrificateurs;
2 And you will go out to [the] valley of Ben Hinnom which [is at] [the] entrance of [the] gate of (the potsherd *Q(k)*) and you will proclaim there the words which I will speak to you.
et sors, et va dans la vallée des fils de Hinnom qui est en face de la porte orientale, et prononce là les paroles que je te dirai,
3 And you will say hear [the] word of Yahweh O kings of Judah and [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to bring calamity on the place this which every [one who] hears of it they will tingle ears his.
et dis: Écoutez la parole de l'Éternel, rois de Juda, et habitants de Jérusalem! Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées, Dieu d'Israël: Voici, j'amène une calamité sur ce lieu; (de quiconque en ouïra parler, les oreilles résonneront; )
4 Because - that they have forsaken me and they have treated as foreign the place this and they have made smoke in it to gods other which not they knew them they and ancestors their and [the] kings of Judah and they have filled the place this [the] blood of innocent [ones].
parce qu'ils m'ont abandonné, et ont aliéné ce lieu, et y ont encensé d'autres dieux qu'ils ne connaissaient ni eux, ni leurs pères, ni les rois de Juda, et qu'ils ont rempli ce lieu du sang des innocents,
5 And they have built [the] high places of Baal to burn children their in the fire burnt offerings to Baal which not I commanded and not I spoke and not it came up on heart my.
et élevé des tertres à Baal, pour brûler leurs enfants au feu en holocaustes à Baal; ce que je n'avais point commandé, et point dit, et qui n'était point venu dans ma pensée.
6 Therefore here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and not it will be called to the place this again Topheth and [the] valley of Ben Hinnom that except [the] valley of slaughter.
Aussi, voici, des jours viennent, dit l'Éternel, où ce lieu ne s'appellera plus Topheth, ni vallée des fils de Hinnom, mais vallée du carnage,
7 And I will make void [the] plan of Judah and Jerusalem in the place this and I will make fall them by the sword before enemies their and by [the] hand of [those who] seek life their and I will give corpse[s] their to food to [the] bird[s] of the heavens and to [the] animal[s] of the earth.
et je viderai le conseil de Juda et de Jérusalem en ce lieu, et je les ferai tomber par l'épée devant leurs ennemis, et par la main de ceux qui en veulent à leur vie, et je ferai de leurs cadavres la proie des oiseaux du ciel et des bêtes de la terre.
8 And I will make the city this into a waste and into a hissing every [one who] passes by at it he will be appalled and he may hiss on all wounds its.
Et je rendrai cette ville une désolation et une dérision; quiconque passera près d'elle frissonnera, et se rira de toutes ses plaies:
9 And I will make eat them [the] flesh of sons their and [the] flesh of daughters their and everyone [the] flesh of neighbor his they will eat in [the] siege and in [the] distress which they will press them enemies their and [those who] seek life their.
et je leur ferai manger la chair de leurs fils, et la chair de leurs filles, et ils se mangeront l'un l'autre, dans la détresse et l'angoisse dont les angoisseront leurs ennemis et ceux qui en veulent à leur vie.
10 And you will break the bottle to [the] eyes of the men who go with you.
Et brise la bouteille sous les yeux des hommes venus avec toi,
11 And you will say to them thus he says - Yahweh of hosts thus I will break the people this and the city this just as someone breaks [the] vessel of the potter which not it will be able to be repaired again and in Topheth people will bury from not room to bury.
et dis-leur: Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Ainsi briserai-je ce peuple et cette ville, comme on brise la poterie, laquelle ne peut plus être remise en état. Et l'on enterrera à Topheth, faute d'autre place pour enterrer.
12 Thus I will do to the place this [the] utterance of Yahweh and to inhabitants its and to make the city this like Topheth.
Ainsi ferai-je à ce lieu, dit l'Éternel, et à ses habitants, rendant cette ville semblable à Topheth.
13 And they will be [the] houses of Jerusalem and [the] houses of [the] kings of Judah like [the] place of Topheth the unclean [things] to all the houses which people made smoke on roofs their to all [the] host of the heavens and they poured out drink offerings to gods other.
Et les maisons de Jérusalem, et les maisons des rois de Juda, comme le lieu de Topheth, seront impures, toutes les maisons sur les toits desquelles on offrait de l'encens à toute l'armée des Cieux, et des libations aux autres dieux.
14 And he came Jeremiah from Topheth where he had sent him Yahweh there to prophesy and he stood in [the] court of [the] house of Yahweh and he said to all the people.
Et Jérémie revint de Topheth où l'Éternel l'avait envoyé pour prophétiser, et il se plaça dans le parvis de la maison de l'Éternel, et dit à tout le peuple:
15 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel here I ([am] about to bring *Q(k)*) to the city this and on all cities its all the calamity which I have spoken on it for they have stiffened neck their to not to hear words my.
Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées, Dieu d'Israël: Voici, j'amène sur cette ville, et sur toutes ses villes, tous les maux dont je l'ai menacée; car ils roidissent leur col pour ne point écouter mes paroles.
