< Jeremiah 17 >

1 [the] sin of Judah [is] inscribed with a stylus of iron with a point of flint [is] engraved on [the] tablet of heart their and to [the] horns of altars your.
“E ji mkpisi igwe gbunye mmehie Juda, jikwa ọnụ nkume siri ike a pịrị ọnụ ya apị, depụta nʼelu mbadamba nkume, bụ obi ha, nakwa nʼelu mpi niile nke ebe ịchụ aja ha.
2 When remember children their altars their and Asherah poles their at tree[s] luxuriant on hills high.
Ọ bụladị ụmụ ha na-echeta ebe ịchụ aja ha, na ogidi a manyere nʼala nʼihi arụsị Ashera, nke dị nʼebe ọtụtụ osisi ndụ na-etokọ ọnụ, ma nʼelu ugwu nta niile.
3 Mountain my in the field wealth your all treasures your to plunder I will give high places your for sin in all territories your.
Ugwu m, nke dị nʼala ahụ, na ihe niile ha nwere, na akụnụba ha ka m ga-eweta nye ndị ga-adọta ha nʼagha. Aga m enyekwa ha ihe niile ahụ dị nʼelu ugwu, nʼihi mmehie gị, nke jupụtara nʼala gị niile.
4 And you will let fall and in you from inheritance your which I gave to you and I will make serve you enemies your in land which not you know for a fire you have kindled in anger my until perpetuity it will burn.
Ihe nketa ahụ m nyere gị ga-efunarị gị, nʼihi ihe i ji aka gị wetara onwe gị. Aga m emekwa ka ị bụrụ ohu ndị iro gị nʼala nke ị na-amaghị, nʼihi na ị kpasuola iwe m, ọ ga-adịgidekwa ruo mgbe niile ebighị ebi.”
5 Thus - he says Yahweh [is] cursed the man who he trusts in humankind and he makes flesh strength his and from Yahweh it turns aside heart his.
Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru, “Onye a bụrụ ọnụ ka mmadụ ahụ bụ nke na-atụkwasị mmadụ ibe ya obi, onye olileanya ya dị nʼinyeaka ga-esi nʼaka mmadụ rute ya aka, onye wezugara obi ya site nʼebe Onyenwe anyị nọ.
6 And he will be like a bush in the desert plain and not he will see if it will come good and he will dwell parched places in the wilderness a land of saltiness and not anyone dwells.
Onye ahụ ga-adị ka osisi na-eto nʼala tọgbọrọ nʼefu. Ọ gaghị ahụkwa mgbe ọ dịmma na-abịara ya. Ọ ga-ebi nʼebe niile kpọrọ nkụ nke ọzara, nʼala nnu nnu, ebe ndị mmadụ na-ebighị.
7 [is] blessed The man who he trusts in Yahweh and he is Yahweh trust his.
“Ma ngọzị na-adịrị onye ahụ na-atụkwasị Onyenwe anyị obi ya. Onye ịnya isi ya bụ nʼime Onyenwe anyị.
8 And he will be like a tree - planted at water and [which] at a stream it sends out roots its and not (he will see *Q(K)*) if it will come heat and it will be leafage its luxuriant and in a year of drought not it will be anxious and not it will cease from producing fruit.
Onye dị otu a ga-adị ka osisi a kụrụ nʼakụkụ iyi, nke mgbọrọgwụ ya na-awasa banye nʼiyi ahụ. Ụjọ adịghị atụ ya nʼoge okpomọkụ, akwụkwọ ndụ na-adịgidekwa nʼelu ya. Ọ dịghị echegbu onwe ya nʼafọ ụnwụ dị. Ọ dịkwaghị mgbe ọ na-akwụsị ịmị mkpụrụ.”
9 [is] deceitful The heart more than everything and [is] incurable it who? will he know it.
Obi mmadụ dị aghụghọ karịa ihe niile, o nwekwaghị ngwọta. Onye pụrụ ịghọta ya?
10 I Yahweh [am] searching [the] heart [am] testing [the] kidneys to give to everyone (according to ways his *Q(K)*) according to [the] fruit of deeds his.
“Mụ onwe m bụ Onyenwe anyị na-enyocha obi, na-anwụpụta ihe dị nʼime mmụọ, nʼihi ịkwụ mmadụ ụgwọ dịka ọrụ ya si dị, na dịka ihe ruuru ya si dị nʼihi ọrụ ya.”
11 A partridge [which] it gathers a brood and not it has laid [one who] makes wealth and not with justice in [the] middle of (days his *Q(K)*) it will leave him and at end his he will be a fool.
Dịka ọkwa si ekpokọba akwa ọ na-eyighị, otu a ka ndị na-akpakọba akụ nʼụzọ na-ezighị ezi dị. Nʼetiti ụbọchị ndụ ha, akụ ndị a ga-efunarị ha. Nʼikpeazụ ha ga-aghọ ndị nzuzu.
12 [is] a throne of Glory a high place from first [time] [the] place of sanctuary our.
Ocheeze dị ebube, nke e mere ka ọ dị elu site na mmalite, ka ebe nsọ anyị bụ.
13 O hope of Israel O Yahweh all [those who] forsake you they will be ashamed (and disloyal [ones] my *Q(K)*) in the land they will be written down for they have forsaken [the] spring of water living Yahweh.
Onyenwe anyị, olileanya Izrel ka ị bụ. A ga-emekwa ka ihere mee ndị na-agbakụta gị azụ. A ga-edekwa aha ndị ahụ niile si nʼebe ị nọ wezuga onwe ha nʼala, nʼihi na ha ewezugala onwe ha site nʼebe Onyenwe anyị, isi iyi nke mmiri na-enye ndụ, nọ.
14 Heal me O Yahweh so I may be healed save me so let me be saved for [are] praise my you.
Onyenwe anyị, ọ bụrụ na i mee ka ahụ sie m ike aga m adị ndụ. Ọ bụrụ na ị zọpụta m aga m abụ onye azọpụtara, nʼihi na ọ bu naanị gị ka m na-eto.
15 Here! they [are] saying to me where? [is] [the] word of Yahweh let it come please.
Ha nọ na-ajụ m ọnụ, na-asị m, “Olee ebe okwu Onyenwe anyị dị? Ya mezuonụ ugbu a!”
16 And I not I have hastened - from a shepherd after you and a day incurable not I have desired you you know [the] utterance of lips my before face your it was.
17 May not you become to me an object of terror [are] refuge my you in a day of calamity.
A ghọrọla m ihe na-eyi egwu, nʼihi na ị bụ ebe mgbaba m nʼụbọchị mbibi.
18 Let them be put to shame pursuers my and may not I be put to shame I let them be dismayed they and may not I be dismayed I bring on them a day of calamity and double destruction destroy them.
Mee ka ihere mee ndị na-akpagbu m. Ekwekwala ka ihere mee m. Mee ka ha tụọ ụjọ, ma chebe m site nʼihe egwu. Mee ka ụbọchị mbibi bịakwasị ha, werekwa okpukpu ihe mbibi abụọ tipịa ha.
19 Thus he said Yahweh to me go and you will stand in [the] gate of [the] sons of (the people *Q(K)*) which they go in it [the] kings of Judah and which they go out in it and in all [the] gates of Jerusalem.
Ihe a ka Onyenwe anyị gwara m, “Gaa, guzo nʼọnụ ụzọ ama obodo, ebe ndị eze Juda na-esi apụ, ma na-abatakwa. Guzokwa nʼọnụ ụzọ ama ndị ọzọ niile dị na Jerusalem.
20 And you will say to them hear [the] word of Yahweh O kings of Judah and all Judah and all [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem who go in the gates these.
Gwa ha sị, ‘Nụrụnụ okwu Onyenwe anyị, unu ndị eze Juda na ndị Juda niile, na ndị niile bi na Jerusalem, ndị na-esi nʼọnụ ụzọ a apụ, na-abatakwa.’
21 Thus he says Yahweh take heed to lives your and may not you carry a burden on [the] day of the sabbath and you will bring [it] in [the] gates of Jerusalem.
Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru, ‘Lezienụ onwe unu anya ịhụ na unu ebughị ibu ọbụla nʼụbọchị izuike; lezienụ onwe unu anya ịhụ na unu esiteghị nʼọnụ ụzọ ama Jerusalem bufee ya.
22 And not you must bring out a burden from houses your on [the] day of the sabbath and any work not you must do and you will set apart as holy [the] day of the sabbath just as I commanded ancestors your.
Unu esitela nʼụlọ unu buputa ihe ọbụla, unu arụkwala ọrụ ọbụla nʼụbọchị izuike. Doonụ ụbọchị izuike nsọ dịka m nyere nna unu ha nʼiwu.
23 And not they listened and not they inclined ear their and they stiffened neck their to not (to listen *Q(K)*) and to not to accept correction.
Ma ha egeghị ntị, maọbụ kpọọ ya mkpa ha. Ha bụ ndị ntị ike, ndị na-adịghị aṅa ntị nʼịdọ aka na ntị, maọbụ nabata ya.
24 And it will be certainly [if] you will listen! to me [the] utterance of Yahweh to not - to bring a burden in [the] gates of the city this on [the] day of the sabbath and to set apart as holy [the] day of the sabbath to not to do (on it *Q(K)*) any work.
Ma otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri, ọ bụrụ na unu ga-elezi anya rubere m isi, hapụ isi nʼọnụ ụzọ ama obodo a bufee maọbụ bubata ibu nʼụbọchị izuike, kama debe ụbọchị izuike nsọ, site na-arụghị ọrụ ọbụla nʼime ya,
25 And they will come in [the] gates of the city this kings - and princes [who] sit on [the] throne of David [who] ride - in chariot[s] and on horses they and officials their everyone of Judah and [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem and it will remain the city this for ever.
mgbe ahụ, ndị eze ndị ga-anọkwasị nʼocheeze Devid ga-edu ndị na-ejere ya ozi na-agafe na-abatakwa site nʼọnụ ụzọ ama a. Aga m emekwa ka ndị mmadụ biri nʼobodo a ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
26 And they will come from [the] cities of Judah and from round about Jerusalem and from [the] land of Benjamin and from the Shephelah and from the hill country and from the Negev [those who] bring burnt offering and sacrifice and grain offering and frankincense and [those who] bring a thank-offering [the] house of Yahweh.
Ndị mmadụ ga-esite nʼobodo niile nke Juda, na nʼobodo nta gbara Jerusalem gburugburu; ha ga-esitekwa nʼala ndị Benjamin, na nʼala ndagwurugwu nke ugwu ndị ahụ dị nʼọdịda anyanwụ, sitekwa nʼala Negev, na-ewebata onyinye aja nsure ọkụ, na aja dị iche iche, na onyinye ọka, na onyinye ihe nsure ọkụ na-esi isi ụtọ, na onyinye ekele, nʼime ụlọ Onyenwe anyị.
27 And if not you will listen to me to set apart as holy [the] day of the sabbath and to not - to carry a burden and to go in [the] gates of Jerusalem on [the] day of the sabbath and I will kindle a fire in gates its and it will consume [the] fortresses of Jerusalem and not it will be extinguished.
Ma ọ bụrụ na unu enupu isi jụ idebe ụbọchị izuike nsọ, ọ bụrụ na unu anọgide na-ebubata ihe site nʼọnụ ụzọ ama Jerusalem nʼụbọchị izuike, aga m amụnye ọnụ ụzọ ama niile dị na Jerusalem ọkụ, nke a na-apụghị imenyụ emenyụ. Ọ ga-erepịakwa ebe niile e wusiri ike na Jerusalem.’”
