Jeremiah 14
1 Which it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jeremiah on [the] matters of the droughts.
Palabra de Jehová, que fue a Jeremías sobre los negocios de las prohibiciones.
2 It is in mourning Judah and gates its they are languishing they are in mourning to the earth and [the] outcry of Jerusalem it has gone up.
Enlutóse Judá, y sus puertas se despoblaron: oscureciéronse en tierra, y el clamor de Jerusalem subió.
3 And noble [ones] their they have sent (servants their *Q(K)*) for water they have come to [the] cisterns not they have found water they have returned vessels their empty they are ashamed and they are humiliated and they have covered head their.
Y los amos de ellos enviaron sus criados al agua: vinieron a las lagunas, no hallaron agua: volviéronse con sus vasos vacíos: avergonzáronse, confundiéronse, y cubrieron sus cabezas.
4 For sake of the ground [which] it is cracked for not it has come rain in the land they are ashamed farmers they have covered head their.
Porque la tierra se rompió, porque no llovió en la tierra: los labradores se avergonzaron, cubrieron sus cabezas.
5 For also a doe in the field it has given birth and it has abandoned for not it is grass.
Y aun las ciervas parían en los campos, y dejaban, porque no había yerba.
6 And wild donkeys they have stood on [the] bare heights they have panted for breath like jackals they have failed eyes their for there not [is] vegetation.
Y los asnos monteses se ponían en los altos, atraían el viento como los dragones: sus ojos se cegaron, porque no había yerba.
7 Though iniquities our they have testified against us O Yahweh act for [the] sake of name your for they are many apostasies our to you we have sinned.
Si nuestras iniquidades testificaren contra nosotros, Jehová, haz por tu nombre; porque nuestras rebeliones se han multiplicado, a ti pecamos.
8 O hope of Israel deliverer its in a time of distress why? are you like a sojourner in the land and like a traveler [who] he has turned aside to spend [the] night.
Esperanza de Israel, Guardador suyo en el tiempo de la aflicción, ¿por qué has de ser como peregrino en la tierra, y como caminante, que se aparta para tener la noche?
9 Why? are you like a person astounded like a warrior [who] not he is able to save and you [are] in midst our O Yahweh and name your on us it is called may not you abandon us.
¿Por qué has de ser como hombre atónito, y como valiente que no puede librar? Y tú estás entre nosotros, o! Jehová, y tu nombre es llamado sobre nosotros: no nos desampares.
10 Thus he says Yahweh of the people this thus they have loved to wander feet their not they have restrained and Yahweh not he has accepted them now he will remember iniquity their so he may punish sins their.
Así dijo Jehová a este pueblo: Así amaron moverse, ni detuvieron sus pies: por tanto Jehová no los tiene en voluntad: ahora se acordará de la maldad de ellos, y visitará sus pecados.
11 And he said Yahweh to me may not you pray for the people this for good.
Y díjome Jehová. No ruegues por este pueblo para bien.
12 For they will fast not I [will be] listening to cry of entreaty their even if they will offer up a burnt offering and a grain offering not I [will be] accepting them for by the sword and by famine and by pestilence I [will be] bringing to an end them.
Cuando ayunaren, yo no oiré su clamor; y cuando ofrecieren holocausto y presente, no lo recibiré: antes los consumiré con espada, y con hambre, y con pestilencia.
13 And I said alas! - O Lord Yahweh here! the prophets [are] saying to them not you will see sword and famine not it will happen to you for peace of reliability I will give to you in the place this.
Y yo dije: ¡Ah! ¡ah! Señor Jehová: he aquí que los profetas les dicen: No veréis espada, ni habrá, hambre en vosotros: mas en este lugar os daré paz firme.
14 And he said Yahweh to me falsehood the prophets [are] prophesying in name my not I sent them and not I appointed them and not I spoke to them a vision of falsehood and divination (and an idol *Q(K)*) (and [the] deceitfulness of *Q(k)*) own heart their they [are] prophesying to you.
Y Jehová me dijo, falso profetizan los profetas en mi nombre: no los envié, ni les mandé, ni les hablé: visión mentirosa, y adivinación, y vanidad, y engaño de su corazón os profetizan.
15 Therefore thus he says Yahweh on the prophets who are prophesying in name my and I not I sent them and they [are] saying sword and famine not it will happen in the land this by the sword and by famine they will meet their end the prophets those.
Por tanto así dijo Jehová sobre los profetas que profetizan en mi nombre, los cuales yo no envié, y que dicen: Espada, ni hambre no habrá en esta tierra: Con espada y con hambre serán consumidos los tales profetas.
16 And the people whom they [are] prophesying to them they will be thrown out in [the] streets of Jerusalem because of - the famine and the sword and not a burier [will belong] to them them wives their and sons their and daughters their and I will pour out on them wickedness their.
Y el pueblo a quien profetizan, serán echados en las calles de Jerusalem por hambre, y por espada, y no habrá quien los entierre, ellos, y sus mujeres, y sus hijos, y sus hijas; y derramaré sobre ellos su maldad.
17 And you will speak to them the word this let them run down eyes my tear[s] night and by day and may not they cease for a breaking great she has been broken [the] virgin of [the] daughter of people my a wound made sick very.
Decirles has pues esta palabra: Córranse mis ojos en lágrimas noche y día, y no cesen; porque de gran quebrantamiento es quebrantada la virgen hija de mi pueblo; de plaga muy recia.
18 If I went out the field and there! [those] slain of a sword and if I went the city and there! diseases of famine for both prophet as well as priest they have gone about to a land and not they know.
Si saliere al campo, he aquí muertos a espada; y si me entrare en la ciudad, he aquí enfermos de hambre; porque también el profeta como el sacerdote anduvieron al rededor en la tierra, y no conocieron.
19 ¿ Really have you rejected Judah or? Zion does it abhor self your why? have you struck us and not [belongs] to us healing we waited eagerly for peace and there not [was] good and for a time of healing and there! terror.
¿Has desechando desechado a Judá? ¿Ha aborrecido tu alma a Sión? ¿Por qué nos hiciste herir sin que nos quede cura? Esperamos paz, y no hubo bien: tiempo de cura, y he aquí turbación.
20 We know O Yahweh wickedness our [the] iniquity of ancestors our for we have sinned to you.
Conocemos, o! Jehová, nuestra impiedad, la iniquidad de nuestros padres; porque pecamos a ti.
21 May not you spurn for [the] sake of name your may not you treat with contempt [the] throne of glory your remember may not you break covenant your with us.
No nos deseches, por tu nombre, ni trastornes el trono de tu gloria. Acuérdate: no invalides tu concierto con nosotros.
22 ¿ [are] there Among [the] vanities of the nations [those who] send rain and or? the heavens do they give copious showers ¿ not you [is] it O Yahweh God our so we may wait eagerly for you for you you have done all these [things].
¿Hay en las vanidades de las naciones quien haga llover? ¿y darán los cielos lluvias? ¿No eres tú Jehová nuestro Dios? A ti pues esperamos; porque tú hiciste todas estas cosas.
