Jeremiah 12
1 [are] righteous You O Yahweh if I bring a case to you nevertheless judgments I will speak with you why? [the] way of wicked [people] does it prosper are they at ease? all [those who] act treacherously of treachery.
| ای خداوند، تو عادلتر از آن هستی که من با تو بحث و جدل کنم؛ اما می‌خواهم بدانم که چرا بدکاران موفقند؟ چرا اشخاص نادرست در رفاه و آسایشند؟ |
2 You have planted them also they have taken root they walk also they have produced fruit [are] near you in mouth their and distant from kidneys their.
| تو ایشان را مانند درختی که ریشه می‌دواند و میوه می‌آورد، کامیاب می‌سازی. به زبان تو را شکر می‌کنند، اما دلهایشان از تو دور است! |
3 And you O Yahweh you know me you see me and you test heart my with you drag away them like sheep to slaughter and set apart them to a day of slaughter.
| حال آنکه تو از دل من آگاهی و مرا خوب می‌شناسی. خداوندا، ایشان را مثل گوسفند به کشتارگاه بِکِش و به سزای اعمالشان برسان! |
4 Until when? will it dry up the land and [the] vegetation of every field will it be dried up from [the] evil of [those who] dwell in it it has dwindled away animals and bird[s] for people have said not he will see end our.
| تا به کی باید این سرزمین به سبب اعمال و رفتار آنها ماتم گیرد؟ حتی گیاهان صحرا هم به علّت گناهان آنها خشک شده و حیوانات و پرندگان از بین رفته‌اند؛ با این حال ایشان می‌گویند: «خدا ما را مجازات نخواهد کرد!» |
5 If with foot soldiers - you have run and they have made weary you and how? will you compete with the horses and in a land of safety you [are] falling to [the] ground and how? will you do in [the] thicket of the Jordan.
| «اگر با کسانی که انسانی بیش نیستند مسابقه دادی و خسته شدی، پس چگونه با اسبان مسابقه خواهی داد؟ اگر در زمین صاف نتوانستی بایستی و لغزیدی، در جنگلهای انبوه اردن چه خواهی کرد؟ |
6 For also brothers your and [the] house of father your also they they have dealt treacherously with you also they they have called out after you full may not you trust in them for they speak to you good things.
| حتی برادران و خانوادهٔ خودت، علیه تو هستند و برایت توطئه چیده‌اند! پس اگرچه با تو دوستانه صحبت کنند، به آنها اعتماد نکن و سخنانشان را باور منما.» |
7 I have forsaken house my I have abandoned inheritance my I have given [the] beloved one of self my in [the] hand enemies her.
| آنگاه خداوند فرمود: «من بنی‌اسرائیل را ترک گفته و قوم برگزیدهٔ خود را طرد کرده‌ام! عزیزان خود را تسلیم دشمن کرده‌ام. |
8 It has become to me inheritance my like a lion in the forest it has given on me with voice its there-fore I hate it.
| قوم من مانند شیر جنگل بر من غریده‌اند، پس من نیز از ایشان بیزار شده‌ام. |
9 ¿ A bird of prey speckled [is] inheritance my to me that [are] bird[s] of prey? all around on it go gather every animal of the field bring [them] for food.
| «قوم من همانند پرندهٔ رنگارنگی است که از هر طرف مورد حملهٔ مرغان وحشی قرار گرفته است؛ پس حیوانات درنده را نیز فرا خوانید تا به این ضیافت بپیوندند! |
10 Shepherds many they have ruined vineyard my they have trodden down portion my they have made [the] portion of desire my into a wilderness of desolation.
| «بسیاری از حاکمان بیگانه، تاکستانم را غارت کرده‌اند و سرزمین محبوب مرا پایمال نموده‌اند. آنها سرزمین حاصلخیز مرا به بیابان خشک تبدیل کرده‌اند. |
11 He has made it into a desolation it is in mourning on me desolate it has been made desolate all the land for there not [is] anyone [who] puts [it] on heart.
| بله، آن را ویران ساخته‌اند؛ اینک ناله‌های ماتم از آن به گوشم می‌رسد؛ همه جا ویران شده و کسی بدان توجه ندارد. |
12 Over all [the] bare heights in the wilderness they have come destroyers for a sword of Yahweh [is] devouring from an end of [the] land and to [the] end of the land not peace [belongs] to any flesh.
| مهاجمین همهٔ گوشه و کنار سرزمین را غارت می‌کنند، زیرا من شمشیرم را فرستاده‌ام تا فرد فرد قوم را هلاک سازد، و هیچ‌کس در امان نخواهد بود. |
13 People have sown wheat and thorns they have reaped they have wearied themselves not they have profited and be ashamed from produce your from [the] burning of [the] anger of Yahweh.
| گندم کاشته‌اند، ولی خار درو کرده‌اند؛ زحمت بسیار کشیده‌اند، ولی چیزی عایدشان نشده است؛ از شدت خشم من، محصولشان از بین رفته است و به این علّت همه شرمسارند.» |
14 Thus - he says Yahweh on all neighbors my evil who touch the inheritance which I gave as an inheritance people my Israel here I [am] about to pluck up them from on land their and [the] house of Judah I will pluck up from among them.
| خداوند دربارهٔ همسایگان شرور قوم اسرائیل که سرزمین او را مورد تهاجم قرار داده‌اند سرزمینی که خدا به ایشان داده است چنین می‌فرماید: «ایشان را مانند یهودا از سرزمینشان بیرون خواهم راند، |
15 And it will be after have plucked up I them I will return and I will have compassion on them and I will bring back them everyone to own inheritance his and everyone to own land his.
| ولی بعد از آن، بار دیگر بر آنها ترحم خواهم نمود و هر یک را به زمین و مملکت خود باز خواهم گرداند. |
16 And it will be certainly [if] they will learn [the] ways of people my to swear by name my [by] [the] life of Yahweh just as they taught people my to swear by Baal and they will be built in among people my.
| اگر این قومهای بت‌پرست، راه و رسم قوم مرا خوب بیاموزند (همان‌گونه که قبلاً به قوم من راه و روش بعل را آموخته بودند)، و به جای بعل مرا خدای خود بدانند، آنگاه جزو قوم من شده کامیاب خواهند شد. |
17 And if not they will listen and I will pluck up the nation that plucking up and destroying [the] utterance of Yahweh.
| اما هر قومی که نخواهد مرا اطاعت نماید، او را به کلی ریشه‌کن کرده، از بین خواهم برد.» این کلام خداوند است. |
