Jeremiah 1
1 [the] words of Jeremiah [the] son of Hilkiah one of the priests who [were] at Anathoth in [the] land of Benjamin.
Dies sind die Geschichten Jeremias, des Sohns Hilkias, aus den Priestern zu Anathoth, im Lande Benjamin,
2 Whom it came [the] word of Yahweh to him in [the] days of Josiah [the] son of Amon [the] king of Judah in thir-teen year of reigning his.
zu welchem geschah das Wort des HERRN zur Zeit Josias, des Sohns Amons, des Königs Judas, im dreizehnten Jahr seines Königreichs,
3 And it came in [the] days of Jehoiakim [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah until was finished one [plus] ten year of Zedekiah [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah until went into exile Jerusalem in the month fifth.
und hernach zur Zeit des Königs Judas Jojakim, des Sohns Josias, bis ans Ende des elften Jahrs Zedekias, des Sohns Josias, des Königs Judas, bis aufs Gefängnis Jerusalems im fünften Monden.
4 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:
5 Before (I formed you *Q(k)*) in the belly I knew you and before you came forth from [the] womb I set apart you a prophet to the nations I appointed you.
Ich kannte dich, ehe denn ich dich in Mutterleibe bereitete, und sonderte dich aus, ehe denn du von der Mutter geboren wurdest, und stellete dich zum Propheten unter die Völker.
6 And I said alas! O Lord Yahweh here! not I know to speak for [am] a youth I.
Ich aber sprach: Ach, HERR HERR, ich tauge nicht zu predigen, denn ich bin zu jung!
7 And he said Yahweh to me may not you say [am] a youth I for to every [one] whom I will send you you will go and all that I will command you you will speak.
Der HERR sprach aber zu mir: Sage nicht: Ich bin zu jung; sondern du sollst gehen, wohin ich dich sende, und predigen, was ich dich heiße.
8 May not you be afraid of them for [will be] with you I to deliver you [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Fürchte dich nicht vor ihnen; denn ich bin bei dir und will dich erretten, spricht der HERR.
9 And he stretched out Yahweh hand his and he touched mouth my and he said Yahweh to me here! I have put words my in mouth your.
Und der HERR reckte seine Hand aus und rührete meinen Mund und sprach zu mir: Siehe, ich lege meine Worte in deinen Mund.
10 See I appoint you - the day this over the nations and over kingdoms to pluck up and to pull down and to destroy and to tear down to build and to plant.
Siehe, ich setze dich heute dieses Tages über Völker und Königreiche, daß du ausreißen, zerbrechen, verstören und verderben sollst und bauen und pflanzen.
11 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying what? [are] you seeing O Jeremiah and I said a branch of an almond tree I [am] seeing.
Und es geschah des HERRN Wort zu mir und sprach: Jeremia, was siehest du? Ich sprach: Ich sehe einen wackern Stab.
12 And he said Yahweh to me you have done well to see for [am] watching I over word my to do it.
Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Du hast recht gesehen; denn ich will wacker sein über mein Wort, daß ich's tue.
13 And it came [the] word of Yahweh - to me a second [time] saying what? [are] you seeing and I said a pot blown upon I [am] seeing and face its [is] away from [the] face of north-ward.
Und es geschah des HERRN Wort zum andernmal zu mir und sprach: Was siehest du? Ich sprach: Ich sehe einen heißen siedenden Topf von Mitternacht her.
14 And he said Yahweh to me from [the] north it will be let loose calamity on all [the] inhabitants of the land.
Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Von Mitternacht wird das Unglück ausbrechen über alle, die im Lande wohnen.
15 For - here I [am] summoning all [the] clans of [the] kingdoms of north-ward [the] utterance of Yahweh and they will come and they will set each one throne his [the] entrance of - [the] gates of Jerusalem and on all walls its all around and on all [the] cities of Judah.
Denn siehe, ich will rufen alle Fürsten in den Königreichen gegen Mitternacht, spricht der HERR, daß sie kommen sollen und ihre Stühle setzen vor die Tore zu Jerusalem und rings um die Mauern her und vor alle Städte Judas.
16 And I will speak judgments my with them on all wickedness their which they have forsaken me and they have made smoke to gods other and they have bowed down to [the] products of hands their.
Und ich will das Recht lassen über sie gehen um aller ihrer Bosheit willen, daß sie mich verlassen und räuchern andern Göttern und beten an ihrer Hände Werk.
17 And you you will gird loins your and you will arise and you will say to them all that I I will command you may not you be dismayed because of them lest I should make dismayed you before them.
So begürte nun deine Lenden und mache dich auf und predige ihnen alles, was ich dich heiße! Fürchte dich nicht vor ihnen, als sollte ich dich abschrecken!
18 And I here! I have made you this day into a city of fortification and into a pillar of iron and into walls of bronze on all the land to [the] kings of Judah to officials its to priests its and to [the] people of the land.
Denn ich will dich heute zur festen Stadt, zur eisernen Säule, zur ehernen Mauer machen im ganzen Lande wider die Könige Judas, wider ihre Fürsten, wider ihre Priester, wider das Volk im Lande,
19 And they will fight against you and not they will prevail to you for [will be] with you I [the] utterance of Yahweh to deliver you.
daß, wenn sie gleich wider dich streiten, dennoch nicht sollen wider dich siegen; denn ich bin bei dir, spricht der HERR, daß ich dich errette.
