James 2
1 Brothers of Mine, not with partiality do hold the faith of the Lord of us Jesus Christ of glory.
ହେ ମମ ଭ୍ରାତରଃ, ଯୂଯମ୍ ଅସ୍ମାକଂ ତେଜସ୍ୱିନଃ ପ୍ରଭୋ ର୍ୟୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟସ୍ୟ ଧର୍ମ୍ମଂ ମୁଖାପେକ୍ଷଯା ନ ଧାରଯତ|
2 If for shall come into (the *k*) assembly of you a man with a gold ring in apparel splendid, may come in then also a poor [man] in shabby apparel
ଯତୋ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ସଭାଯାଂ ସ୍ୱର୍ଣାଙ୍ଗୁରୀଯକଯୁକ୍ତେ ଭ୍ରାଜିଷ୍ଣୁପରିଚ୍ଛଦେ ପୁରୁଷେ ପ୍ରୱିଷ୍ଟେ ମଲିନୱସ୍ତ୍ରେ କସ୍ମିଂଶ୍ଚିଦ୍ ଦରିଦ୍ରେଽପି ପ୍ରୱିଷ୍ଟେ
3 (and *ko*) you may look (also *no*) upon the [one] wearing the apparel splendid and may say (to him: *k*) You yourself do sit here honorably, and to the poor may say; You yourself do stand there or do sit (here *k*) under the footstool of mine,
ଯୂଯଂ ଯଦି ତଂ ଭ୍ରାଜିଷ୍ଣୁପରିଚ୍ଛଦୱସାନଂ ଜନଂ ନିରୀକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ୱଦେତ ଭୱାନ୍ ଅତ୍ରୋତ୍ତମସ୍ଥାନ ଉପୱିଶତ୍ୱିତି କିଞ୍ଚ ତଂ ଦରିଦ୍ରଂ ଯଦି ୱଦେତ ତ୍ୱମ୍ ଅମୁସ୍ମିନ୍ ସ୍ଥାନେ ତିଷ୍ଠ ଯଦ୍ୱାତ୍ର ମମ ପାଦପୀଠ ଉପୱିଶେତି,
4 (and *ko*) not were discriminated among yourselves and you have become judges with thoughts evil?
ତର୍ହି ମନଃସୁ ୱିଶେଷ୍ୟ ଯୂଯଂ କିଂ କୁତର୍କୈଃ କୁୱିଚାରକା ନ ଭୱଥ?
5 do listen, brothers of mine beloved, Not God has chosen the poor (in the world *N(k)O*) (this *k*) [to be] rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that He promised to those loving Him?
ହେ ମମ ପ୍ରିଯଭ୍ରାତରଃ, ଶୃଣୁତ, ସଂସାରେ ଯେ ଦରିଦ୍ରାସ୍ତାନ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରୋ ୱିଶ୍ୱାସେନ ଧନିନଃ ସ୍ୱପ୍ରେମକାରିଭ୍ୟଶ୍ଚ ପ୍ରତିଶ୍ରୁତସ୍ୟ ରାଜ୍ୟସ୍ୟାଧିକାରିଣଃ କର୍ତ୍ତୁଂ କିଂ ନ ୱରୀତୱାନ୍? କିନ୍ତୁ ଦରିଦ୍ରୋ ଯୁଷ୍ମାଭିରୱଜ୍ଞାଯତେ|
6 You yourselves however dishonored the poor. Surely the rich are oppressing you and they themselves dragging you into court?
ଧନୱନ୍ତ ଏୱ କିଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ନୋପଦ୍ରୱନ୍ତି ବଲାଚ୍ଚ ୱିଚାରାସନାନାଂ ସମୀପଂ ନ ନଯନ୍ତି?
7 Surely they themselves are denigrating the good Name which having been called upon you?
ଯୁଷ୍ମଦୁପରି ପରିକୀର୍ତ୍ତିତଂ ପରମଂ ନାମ କିଂ ତୈରେୱ ନ ନିନ୍ଦ୍ୟତେ?
8 If indeed [the] law you keep royal according to the Scripture; You will love the neighbour of you as yourself, well you are doing;
କିଞ୍ଚ ତ୍ୱଂ ସ୍ୱସମୀପୱାସିନି ସ୍ୱାତ୍ମୱତ୍ ପ୍ରୀଯସ୍ୱ, ଏତଚ୍ଛାସ୍ତ୍ରୀଯୱଚନାନୁସାରତୋ ଯଦି ଯୂଯଂ ରାଜକୀଯୱ୍ୟୱସ୍ଥାଂ ପାଲଯଥ ତର୍ହି ଭଦ୍ରଂ କୁରୁଥ|
9 If however you show partiality, sin you are committing being convicted by the law as transgressors.
ଯଦି ଚ ମୁଖାପେକ୍ଷାଂ କୁରୁଥ ତର୍ହି ପାପମ୍ ଆଚରଥ ୱ୍ୟୱସ୍ଥଯା ଚାଜ୍ଞାଲଙ୍ଘିନ ଇୱ ଦୂଷ୍ୟଧ୍ୱେ|
10 Whoever for all the law (may keep, may stumble *N(k)O*) but in one [point], he has become of all guilty.
ଯତୋ ଯଃ କଶ୍ଚିତ୍ କୃତ୍ସ୍ନାଂ ୱ୍ୟୱସ୍ଥାଂ ପାଲଯତି ସ ଯଦ୍ୟେକସ୍ମିନ୍ ୱିଧୌ ସ୍ଖଲତି ତର୍ହି ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେଷାମ୍ ଅପରାଧୀ ଭୱତି|
11 The [One] for having said Not (you may commit adultery, *NK(o)*) said also Not (you may murder. *NK(o)*) If however not (you do commit adultery do commit murder *N(k)O*) however, you have become a transgressor of [the] law.
ଯତୋ ହେତୋସ୍ତ୍ୱଂ ପରଦାରାନ୍ ମା ଗଚ୍ଛେତି ଯଃ କଥିତୱାନ୍ ସ ଏୱ ନରହତ୍ୟାଂ ମା କୁର୍ୟ୍ୟା ଇତ୍ୟପି କଥିତୱାନ୍ ତସ୍ମାତ୍ ତ୍ୱଂ ପରଦାରାନ୍ ନ ଗତ୍ୱା ଯଦି ନରହତ୍ୟାଂ କରୋଷି ତର୍ହି ୱ୍ୟୱସ୍ଥାଲଙ୍ଘୀ ଭୱସି|
12 Thus do speak and so do act as through [the] law of freedom being about to be judged.
ମୁକ୍ତେ ର୍ୱ୍ୟୱସ୍ଥାତୋ ଯେଷାଂ ୱିଚାରେଣ ଭୱିତୱ୍ୟଂ ତାଦୃଶା ଲୋକା ଇୱ ଯୂଯଂ କଥାଂ କଥଯତ କର୍ମ୍ମ କୁରୁତ ଚ|
13 For judgment without mercy [will be] to the [one] not having shown mercy; (and *k*) (it triumphs over mercy *NK(o)*) judgment.
ଯୋ ଦଯାଂ ନାଚରତି ତସ୍ୟ ୱିଚାରୋ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦଯେନ କାରିଷ୍ୟତେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଦଯା ୱିଚାରମ୍ ଅଭିଭୱିଷ୍ୟତି|
14 What [is] the profit, brothers of mine, if faith shall say anyone to have, works however not he may have? Surely not is able the faith to save him?
ହେ ମମ ଭ୍ରାତରଃ, ମମ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟଯୋଽସ୍ତୀତି ଯଃ କଥଯତି ତସ୍ୟ କର୍ମ୍ମାଣି ଯଦି ନ ୱିଦ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତର୍ହି ତେନ କିଂ ଫଲଂ? ତେନ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟଯେନ କିଂ ତସ୍ୟ ପରିତ୍ରାଣଂ ଭୱିତୁଂ ଶକ୍ନୋତି?
15 Now if (now *k*) a brother or a sister without clothes shall be and lacking (they may be *ko*) of daily food,
କେଷୁଚିଦ୍ ଭ୍ରାତୃଷୁ ଭଗିନୀଷୁ ୱା ୱସନହୀନେଷୁ ପ୍ରାତ୍ୟହିକାହାରହୀନେଷୁ ଚ ସତ୍ସୁ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ କୋଽପି ତେଭ୍ୟଃ ଶରୀରାର୍ଥଂ ପ୍ରଯୋଜନୀଯାନି ଦ୍ରୱ୍ୟାଣି ନ ଦତ୍ୱା ଯଦି ତାନ୍ ୱଦେତ୍,
16 may say then anyone to them out from you; do go in peace, do be warmed and do be filled, surely not may give however to them the needful things for the body, what [is] the profit?
ଯୂଯଂ ସକୁଶଲଂ ଗତ୍ୱୋଷ୍ଣଗାତ୍ରା ଭୱତ ତୃପ୍ୟତ ଚେତି ତର୍ହ୍ୟେତେନ କିଂ ଫଲଂ?
17 So also faith, only unless it shall have works [then] dead it is by itself.
ତଦ୍ୱତ୍ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟଯୋ ଯଦି କର୍ମ୍ମଭି ର୍ୟୁକ୍ତୋ ନ ଭୱେତ୍ ତର୍ହ୍ୟେକାକିତ୍ୱାତ୍ ମୃତ ଏୱାସ୍ତେ|
18 But will say someone; You yourself faith have, and I myself and I myself works have; do show me the faith of you (without *N(k)O*) the works (of you *k*) and I myself and I myself you will show by the works of mine the faith (of mine. *k*)
କିଞ୍ଚ କଶ୍ଚିଦ୍ ଇଦଂ ୱଦିଷ୍ୟତି ତୱ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟଯୋ ୱିଦ୍ୟତେ ମମ ଚ କର୍ମ୍ମାଣି ୱିଦ୍ୟନ୍ତେ, ତ୍ୱଂ କର୍ମ୍ମହୀନଂ ସ୍ୱପ୍ରତ୍ୟଯଂ ମାଂ ଦର୍ଶଯ ତର୍ହ୍ୟହମପି ମତ୍କର୍ମ୍ମଭ୍ୟଃ ସ୍ୱପ୍ରତ୍ୟଯଂ ତ୍ୱାଂ ଦର୍ଶଯିଷ୍ୟାମି|
19 You yourself believe that one is God; Well you are doing! Even the demons believe [that] and shudder!
ଏକ ଈଶ୍ୱରୋ ଽସ୍ତୀତି ତ୍ୱଂ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେଷି| ଭଦ୍ରଂ କରୋଷି| ଭୂତା ଅପି ତତ୍ ପ୍ରତିଯନ୍ତି କମ୍ପନ୍ତେ ଚ|
20 Do you want however to come to know, O man foolish, that faith apart from works (worthless *N(K)O*) is?
କିନ୍ତୁ ହେ ନିର୍ବ୍ବୋଧମାନୱ, କର୍ମ୍ମହୀନଃ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟଯୋ ମୃତ ଏୱାସ୍ତ୍ୟେତଦ୍ ଅୱଗନ୍ତୁଂ କିମ୍ ଇଚ୍ଛସି?
21 Abraham the father of us not by works was justified having offered Isaac the son of him upon the altar?
ଅସ୍ମାକଂ ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱପୁରୁଷୋ ଯ ଇବ୍ରାହୀମ୍ ସ୍ୱପୁତ୍ରମ୍ ଇସ୍ହାକଂ ଯଜ୍ଞୱେଦ୍ୟାମ୍ ଉତ୍ସୃଷ୍ଟୱାନ୍ ସ କିଂ କର୍ମ୍ମଭ୍ୟୋ ନ ସପୁଣ୍ୟୀକୃତଃ?
22 [Do] you see that [his] faith was working with the works of him and by [his] works [his] faith was perfected?
ପ୍ରତ୍ୟଯେ ତସ୍ୟ କର୍ମ୍ମଣାଂ ସହକାରିଣି ଜାତେ କର୍ମ୍ମଭିଃ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟଯଃ ସିଦ୍ଧୋ ଽଭୱତ୍ ତତ୍ କିଂ ପଶ୍ୟସି?
23 And was fulfilled the Scripture which is saying; Believed then Abraham in God and it was counted to him for righteousness and a friend of God he was called.
ଇତ୍ଥଞ୍ଚେଦଂ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀଯୱଚନଂ ସଫଲମ୍ ଅଭୱତ୍, ଇବ୍ରାହୀମ୍ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରେ ୱିଶ୍ୱସିତୱାନ୍ ତଚ୍ଚ ତସ୍ୟ ପୁଣ୍ୟାଯାଗଣ୍ୟତ ସ ଚେଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ମିତ୍ର ଇତି ନାମ ଲବ୍ଧୱାନ୍|
24 You see (therefore *K*) that by works is justified a man and not by faith alone.
ପଶ୍ୟତ ମାନୱଃ କର୍ମ୍ମଭ୍ୟଃ ସପୁଣ୍ୟୀକ୍ରିଯତେ ନ ଚୈକାକିନା ପ୍ରତ୍ୟଯେନ|
25 Likewise then also Rahab the prostitute not by works was justified having received the messengers and by another way having sent [them] forth?
ତଦ୍ୱଦ୍ ଯା ରାହବ୍ନାମିକା ୱାରାଙ୍ଗନା ଚାରାନ୍ ଅନୁଗୃହ୍ୟାପରେଣ ମାର୍ଗେଣ ୱିସସର୍ଜ ସାପି କିଂ କର୍ମ୍ମଭ୍ୟୋ ନ ସପୁଣ୍ୟୀକୃତା?
26 Just as for the body apart from spirit dead is, so also faith apart from (*ko*) works dead is.
ଅତଏୱାତ୍ମହୀନୋ ଦେହୋ ଯଥା ମୃତୋଽସ୍ତି ତଥୈୱ କର୍ମ୍ମହୀନଃ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟଯୋଽପି ମୃତୋଽସ୍ତି|
