< James 2 >

1 Brothers of Mine, not with partiality do hold the faith of the Lord of us Jesus Christ of glory.
N kpiiba, yinba yabi n daani ti yonbidaano jesu kilisito yua n pia ti kpiagdi yen, la ke ŋani yin ya tiendi n gagdima bi niba siigan nni.
2 If for shall come into (the *k*) assembly of you a man with a gold ring in apparel splendid, may come in then also a poor [man] in shabby apparel
Min bani yaali tie: ne o nilo ya cua ke kua li nintigilin, ke pili wula biagi bii i ligi mɔni biaga, ke gɔa yie ya tiadi n pia ti kpiagidi, ke o luodo mɔ kua ki yie akpalcala.
3 (and *ko*) you may look (also *no*) upon the [one] wearing the apparel splendid and may say (to him: *k*) You yourself do sit here honorably, and to the poor may say; You yourself do stand there or do sit (here *k*) under the footstool of mine,
I yi jigndi yua yie ti tiakpiagidi yen, ke yedo: “kali ne tijigdi ya kalkaanu po, Ama ke nan yedi o luodo “fini n ya se lan kani bii fin wani n kali tinga nni t taana po.
4 (and *ko*) not were discriminated among yourselves and you have become judges with thoughts evil?
Nani yii tiendi m gagdima i yanma nni ke gɔa yi i yula buud danma yeni i maal biidi kaaa?
5 do listen, brothers of mine beloved, Not God has chosen the poor (in the world *N(k)O*) (this *k*) [to be] rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that He promised to those loving Him?
N kpibuadiba, cengi mani, nani u tienu ke gandi yaabi n tie a luoda ŋanduna nuni po ke ban tua piada li dandanli nni kaaa? Ke gɔa baa wan nian ke ba puba yabi n bua'og kuli o diema nnii?
6 You yourselves however dishonored the poor. Surely the rich are oppressing you and they themselves dragging you into court?
Ama yinba, n fali a luoda. Nani a piada ka mabndi ii, ke caa yeni bi buudanba kani.
7 Surely they themselves are denigrating the good Name which having been called upon you?
Bani ka biidi ya yeŋanli n ye i nni.
8 If indeed [the] law you keep royal according to the Scripture; You will love the neighbour of you as yourself, well you are doing;
Li ya tie k a kubi u tienu diema bali maama, nani lan diani maami yeni. Li yedi: ŋan ya bua a lielo nani ŋan bua ayuli maama yeni.”
9 If however you show partiality, sin you are committing being convicted by the law as transgressors.
Ama yin ya tiendi m gagdima bi niba siiga nni, i tiendi tuonbiidi, li bali maama mɔ buni ke cuo i, kelima yi ke miado.
10 Whoever for all the law (may keep, may stumble *N(k)O*) but in one [point], he has become of all guilty.
Yua tuo ke kubi li bali maama, ke nan gɔa miindi ba maayenma bibe, o pia i talgi li kuli po.
11 The [One] for having said Not (you may commit adultery, *NK(o)*) said also Not (you may murder. *NK(o)*) If however not (you do commit adultery do commit murder *N(k)O*) however, you have become a transgressor of [the] law.
Kelima u tienu yedi: “ŋan da conmi” wani gɔa maadi: “ŋan da kpaa nilo” lan wani ya conmi, bii ke kpaa nilo, a biidi u tienu maama yeni.
12 Thus do speak and so do act as through [the] law of freedom being about to be judged.
Lani, yin maadi ke gɔa tiendi yal kuli, yin bani k u tienu ba jia i buudi ke ŋaa.
13 For judgment without mercy [will be] to the [one] not having shown mercy; (and *k*) (it triumphs over mercy *NK(o)*) judgment.
14 What [is] the profit, brothers of mine, if faith shall say anyone to have, works however not he may have? Surely not is able the faith to save him?
N kpiiba, i li ke li baa ŋani o nilo n yedi ko pia li dandanli ke na ke suani tuonli li po, li pia be ya todima, o dandanli ba fidi ke tindo o?
15 Now if (now *k*) a brother or a sister without clothes shall be and lacking (they may be *ko*) of daily food,
I kpiilo ja bii pua ya luo ti tiayiekaadi, ke gɔa luo daali kuli li bonjekaali.
16 may say then anyone to them out from you; do go in peace, do be warmed and do be filled, surely not may give however to them the needful things for the body, what [is] the profit?
Ke i siigan yendo yedi o, ya kuni yeni mi yanduama, ke ban tongi o mu ke di ke guo, ama ke nan ke pun'o yal n tie tilad o yema po, li pia i laa fuoma?
17 So also faith, only unless it shall have works [then] dead it is by itself.
Li dandanli mɔ tie yene, li yaa pia atuona li tie yali n kpe.
18 But will say someone; You yourself faith have, and I myself and I myself works have; do show me the faith of you (without *N(k)O*) the works (of you *k*) and I myself and I myself you will show by the works of mine the faith (of mine. *k*)
Ama, o nilo ya yedi: “fini a pia li dandanli, n mɔ pia a yuona n ba yedi'o; waan nni, a dandanli yali n ke pia tuona, n mɔ ba waan na n dandanli kelima a tuona po.
19 You yourself believe that one is God; Well you are doing! Even the demons believe [that] and shudder!
A daani k u tienu ye ke tie yendo beba, a tiendi ke liŋani. Ba a cicilibiada mɔ daani yene, ama bi jie ke digidi( jegli).
20 Do you want however to come to know, O man foolish, that faith apart from works (worthless *N(K)O*) is?
21 Abraham the father of us not by works was justified having offered Isaac the son of him upon the altar?
22 [Do] you see that [his] faith was working with the works of him and by [his] works [his] faith was perfected?
A la ko dandanli den taani ke yegi yeni o tuona, ko tuona yen mɔ den cedi ko dandanli ŋani ke dagdi cai i n.
23 And was fulfilled the Scripture which is saying; Believed then Abraham in God and it was counted to him for righteousness and a friend of God he was called.
24 You see (therefore *K*) that by works is justified a man and not by faith alone.
I la o nilo tiegi kelima o tuona po i. la ke tie li dandanli beba po ka.
25 Likewise then also Rahab the prostitute not by works was justified having received the messengers and by another way having sent [them] forth?
26 Just as for the body apart from spirit dead is, so also faith apart from (*ko*) works dead is.
nani ya gbannandi ke pia naano n kpe maama, li tie yeni ke ya dandanli ke yegi yeni a tuona mɔ kpe.
