Isaiah 8
1 And he said Yahweh to me take yourself a tablet large and write on it with a stylus of a person Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz.
Y díjome Jehová: Tómate un gran volumen, y escribe en él en estilo vulgar: dáte priesa al despojo, apresúrate a la presa.
2 And I will call as witness for myself witnesses reliable Uriah the priest and Zechariah [the] son of Jeberekiah.
Y junté conmigo por testigos fieles a Urías sacerdote, y a Zacarías, hijo de Jebaraquías.
3 And I drew near to the prophetess and she conceived and she bore a son and he said Yahweh to me call name his Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz.
Y juntéme con la profetisa, la cual concibió, y parió un hijo. Y díjome Jehová: Pónle por nombre: dáte priesa al despojo, apresúrate a la presa.
4 For before he will know the lad to call out O father my and O mother my someone will carry off - [the] wealth of Damascus and [the] plunder of Samaria before [the] king of Assyria.
Porque antes que el niño sepa decir, padre mío, y madre mía, será quitada la fuerza de Damasco, y los despojos de Samaria serán en la presencia del rey de Asiria.
5 And he repeated Yahweh to speak to me again saying.
Otra vez me tornó Jehová a hablar, diciendo:
6 Because for it has rejected the people this [the] waters of Shiloah which go to gentleness and rejoicing with Rezin and [the] son of Remaliah.
Porque desechó este pueblo las aguas de Siloé que corren mansamente, y con Rezín, y con el hijo de Romelías se holgó:
7 And therefore there! [the] Lord [is] about to bring up on them [the] waters of the River mighty and many [the] king of Assyria and all glory his and it will rise over all channels its and it will go over all banks its.
Por tanto he aquí que el Señor hace subir sobre ellos aguas de río impetuosas y muchas, es a saber, al rey de Asiria, y a toda su gloria; el cual subirá sobre todos sus ríos, y pasará sobre todas sus riberas.
8 And it will pass on in Judah it will overflow and it will pass over to [the] neck it will reach and it will be [the] spreading of wings its [the] fullness of [the] breadth of land your O Immanu-el.
Y pasando hasta Judá, pasará, y sobrepujará, y llegará hasta la garganta; y extendiendo sus alas henchirá la anchura de tu tierra, o! Emmanuel.
9 Be bad O peoples and be shattered and give ear O all [the] distant places of [the] earth gird yourselves and be shattered gird yourselves and be shattered.
Juntáos, pueblos, y seréis quebrantados: oíd todos los que sois de tierras lejanas, ponéos a punto, y seréis quebrantados: ponéos a punto, y seréis quebrantados.
10 Plan a plan so it may be frustrated speak a word and not it will stand for [is] with us God.
Acordád consejo, y deshacerse ha: hablád palabra, y no será firme; porque Dios con nosotros.
11 For thus he said Yahweh to me according to [the] strength of the hand and he will instruct me from walking in [the] way of the people this saying.
Porque Jehová me dijo de esta manera, y apretándome la mano me enseñó, que no caminase por el camino de este pueblo, diciendo:
12 Not you must say! conspiracy of all that it is saying the people this conspiracy and fear its not you must fear and not you must regard with awe.
No digáis: Conjuración, a todas las cosas a que este pueblo dice: Conjuración; ni temáis su temor, ni le tengáis miedo.
13 Yahweh of hosts him you will regard as holy and he [will be] fear your and he [the] [one whom] regard with awe you.
A Jehová de los ejércitos, a él santificád; él sea vuestro temor, y él sea vuestro miedo.
14 And he will become a sanctuary and a stone of striking and a rock of stumbling for [the] two [the] houses of Israel a trap and a snare for [the] inhabitant[s] of Jerusalem.
Entonces él será por santuario; y a las dos casas de Israel por piedra para tropezar, y por tropezadero para caer, por lazo, y por red al morador de Jerusalem.
15 And they will stumble over them many [people] and they will fall and they will be broken and they will be ensnared and they will be captured.
Y muchos tropezarán entre ellos, y caerán, y serán quebrantados, enredarse han, y serán presos.
16 Bind up [the] testimony seal up [the] instruction among disciples my.
Ata el testimonio, sella la ley entre mis discípulos.
17 And I will wait for Yahweh who is hiding face his from [the] house of Jacob and I will wait eagerly for him.
Esperaré pues a Jehová, el cual escondió su rostro de la casa de Jacob, y a él esperaré.
18 Here! I and the children whom he has given to me Yahweh for signs and for portents in Israel from with Yahweh of hosts who dwells on [the] mountain of Zion.
He aquí yo, y los hijos que me dio Jehová por señales y prodigios en Israel, por Jehová de los ejércitos, que mora en el monte de Sión.
19 And if they will say to you consult the necromancers and the soothsayers who whisper and who mutter ¿ not a people God its will it consult for the living the dead.
Y si os dijeren: Preguntád a los pitones, y a los adivinos que zonzorrean hablando. ¿No consultará el pueblo a su Dios? ¿por los vivos, a los muertos?
20 To [the] instruction and to [the] testimony if not they will speak according to the manner this that not [belongs] to it dawn.
A la ley, y al testimonio: si no dijeren conforme a esto, es porque no les ha amanecido.
21 And it will pass in it hard pressed and hungry and it will be that it will be hungry and it will be enraged and it will curse king its and God its and it will turn upwards.
Entonces pasarán por esta tierra fatigados y hambrientos; y acontecerá que teniendo hambre, se enojarán, y maldecirán a su rey, y a su Dios. Y levantando el rostro en alto,
22 And to [the] earth it will look and there! trouble and darkness gloom of distress and gloom [it is] thrust out.
Y mirando a la tierra, he aquí tribulación y tinieblas, oscuridad, y angustia; y a la oscuridad, empellón.
