Isaiah 8
1 And he said Yahweh to me take yourself a tablet large and write on it with a stylus of a person Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz.
೧ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ, “ದೊಡ್ಡ ಹಲಗೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಸಾಧಾರಣ ಲೇಖನಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ವಿಷಯ ಸೂಚಕವಾದ ಈ ಪದವನ್ನು ಬರೆ, ‘ಮಹೇರ್ ಶಾಲಾಲ್ ಹಾಷ್ ಬಜ್’ ಅಂದರೆ ಸೂರೆಗೆ ಅತುರ, ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಗೆ ಅವಸರ.
2 And I will call as witness for myself witnesses reliable Uriah the priest and Zechariah [the] son of Jeberekiah.
೨ನೀನು ಹೀಗೆ ಬರೆದದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಊರೀಯ, ಯೆಬೆರೆಕ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಜೆಕರ್ಯ ಈ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತರಾದ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕರೆಯುವೆನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
3 And I drew near to the prophetess and she conceived and she bore a son and he said Yahweh to me call name his Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz.
೩ಅನಂತರ, “ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯೊಡನೆ ಸಂಗಮಿಸಲು ಆಕೆಯು ಬಸುರಾಗಿ ಗಂಡು ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು. ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ‘ಮಹೇರ್ ಶಾಲಾಲ್ ಹಾಷ್ ಬಜ್ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಡು’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
4 For before he will know the lad to call out O father my and O mother my someone will carry off - [the] wealth of Damascus and [the] plunder of Samaria before [the] king of Assyria.
೪ಆ ಮಗುವು, ‘ಅಪ್ಪಾ, ಅಮ್ಮಾ’ ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಬಲ್ಲವನಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲೇ ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಅರಸನು ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ಸೂರೆಯನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
5 And he repeated Yahweh to speak to me again saying.
೫ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮತ್ತೊಂದಾವರ್ತಿ ನನಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ನುಡಿದನು,
6 Because for it has rejected the people this [the] waters of Shiloah which go to gentleness and rejoicing with Rezin and [the] son of Remaliah.
೬“ಈ ಜನರು ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಹರಿಯುವ ಸಿಲೋವದ ನೀರನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿ, ರೆಚೀನನನ್ನೂ, ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನನ್ನೂ ನಂಬಿ ಮೆರೆದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ,
7 And therefore there! [the] Lord [is] about to bring up on them [the] waters of the River mighty and many [the] king of Assyria and all glory his and it will rise over all channels its and it will go over all banks its.
೭ಇಗೋ ಕರ್ತನು ಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರತಾಪದಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಅರಸನೆಂಬ ಮಹಾನದಿಯ ರಭಸವಾದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರವಾಹವನ್ನು ಇವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವನು. ಅದು ತನ್ನ ಕಾಲುವೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಳಗೊಂಡು ದಡಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮೀರಿ,
8 And it will pass on in Judah it will overflow and it will pass over to [the] neck it will reach and it will be [the] spreading of wings its [the] fullness of [the] breadth of land your O Immanu-el.
೮ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನುಗ್ಗಿ, ತುಂಬಿತುಳುಕಿ ಹಬ್ಬಿಕೊಂಡು ಕತ್ತಿನವರೆಗೂ ಏರುವುದು. ಇಮ್ಮಾನುವೇಲನೇ, ಆ ಅರಸನ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳು ಹರಡಿ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇಶವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.”
9 Be bad O peoples and be shattered and give ear O all [the] distant places of [the] earth gird yourselves and be shattered gird yourselves and be shattered.
೯ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೇ, ನೀವು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀವು ಒಡೆದು ತುಂಡಾಗುವಿರಿ; ದೂರದೇಶಿಯರೇ, ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ; ನಡುಕಟ್ಟಿರಿ, ಭಂಗಪಡುವಿರಿ; ಹೌದು ನಡುಕಟ್ಟಿರಿ, ಭಂಗಪಡುವಿರಿ.
10 Plan a plan so it may be frustrated speak a word and not it will stand for [is] with us God.
೧೦ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ಅದು ಮುರಿದುಹೋಗುವುದು. ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಅದು ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಕೂಡ ಇದ್ದಾನಷ್ಟೆ.
11 For thus he said Yahweh to me according to [the] strength of the hand and he will instruct me from walking in [the] way of the people this saying.
೧೧ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಲವಾಗಿ ಕೈಯನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು, ಈ ಜನರ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಬಾರದೆಂದು ನನಗೆ ಉಪದೇಶಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಹೀಗೆಂದನು,
12 Not you must say! conspiracy of all that it is saying the people this conspiracy and fear its not you must fear and not you must regard with awe.
೧೨“ಇವರು ಯಾವುದನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಂದವೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೋ ನೀವು ಅದನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಂದವೆನ್ನಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಇವರು ಯಾವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆದರುತ್ತಾರೋ ನೀವು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆದರಬೇಡಿರಿ, ನಡುಗಬೇಡಿರಿ.
13 Yahweh of hosts him you will regard as holy and he [will be] fear your and he [the] [one whom] regard with awe you.
೧೩ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನೇ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಪಡಿಸಿರಿ; ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹೆದರಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ನಡುಗಿರಿ.
14 And he will become a sanctuary and a stone of striking and a rock of stumbling for [the] two [the] houses of Israel a trap and a snare for [the] inhabitant[s] of Jerusalem.
೧೪ಆತನು ಆಶ್ರಯವಾಗುವನು; ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಎರಡು ಮನೆತನಕ್ಕೆ ಎಡವುವ ಕಲ್ಲೂ, ಮುಗ್ಗರಿಸುವ ಬಂಡೆಯೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಲೆಯೂ, ಪಂಜರವಾಗುವುದು.
15 And they will stumble over them many [people] and they will fall and they will be broken and they will be ensnared and they will be captured.
೧೫ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಎಡವಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಭಂಗಪಡುವರು, ಬಲೆಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿ ವಶವಾಗುವರು.”
16 Bind up [the] testimony seal up [the] instruction among disciples my.
೧೬ಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಡು, ನನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೊಳಗೆ ಉಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಮುದ್ರಿಸು.
17 And I will wait for Yahweh who is hiding face his from [the] house of Jacob and I will wait eagerly for him.
೧೭ಯಾಕೋಬಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರಿಗೆ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡು ಎದುರು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರುವೆನು.
18 Here! I and the children whom he has given to me Yahweh for signs and for portents in Israel from with Yahweh of hosts who dwells on [the] mountain of Zion.
೧೮ಆಹಾ, ನಾನೂ, ನನಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿರುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾದ ಗುರುತುಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
19 And if they will say to you consult the necromancers and the soothsayers who whisper and who mutter ¿ not a people God its will it consult for the living the dead.
೧೯“ಗುಣಗುಟ್ಟುವ, ಪಿಸುಮಾತನಾಡುವ, ಪ್ರೇತವಿಚಾರಕರನ್ನೂ, ಬೇತಾಳಿಕರನ್ನೂ ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಾರು, “ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರನ್ನೇ ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಬಾರದೋ? ಜೀವಿತರಿಗಾಗಿ ಸತ್ತವರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವುದು ಯುಕ್ತವೋ?
20 To [the] instruction and to [the] testimony if not they will speak according to the manner this that not [belongs] to it dawn.
೨೦ದೇವರ ಉಪದೇಶವನ್ನೂ, ದೇವರ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯನ್ನೂ ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವ” ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಬೆಳಗಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
21 And it will pass in it hard pressed and hungry and it will be that it will be hungry and it will be enraged and it will curse king its and God its and it will turn upwards.
೨೧ಅವರು ಘೋರ ಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೊಳಗಾಗಿ ಹಸಿವೆಯಿಂದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆಯುವರು. ಅವರು ಹಸಿದಾಗ ಸಿಟ್ಟುಗೊಂಡು ತಮ್ಮ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ, ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರನ್ನೂ ಶಪಿಸಿ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ನೋಡುವರು.
22 And to [the] earth it will look and there! trouble and darkness gloom of distress and gloom [it is] thrust out.
೨೨ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಕಣ್ಣೆತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ, ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದರೂ ಇಗೋ, ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟೆಂಬ ಕತ್ತಲೂ, ಸಂಕಟವೆಂಬ ಅಂಧಕಾರವೂ ಕವಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದು. ಕಾರ್ಗತ್ತಲೆಗೆ ತಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಡುವರು.
