Isaiah 8
1 And he said Yahweh to me take yourself a tablet large and write on it with a stylus of a person Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz.
Und Jehova sprach zu mir: Nimm dir eine große Tafel und schreibe darauf mit Menschengriffel: [d. h. mit leicht leserlicher Schrift] Es eilt der Raub, bald kommt die Beute;
2 And I will call as witness for myself witnesses reliable Uriah the priest and Zechariah [the] son of Jeberekiah.
und ich will mir [O. und ich sollte mir. And. üb.: ich nahm mir] zuverlässige Zeugen nehmen: Urija, den Priester, und Sacharja, den Sohn Jeberekjas. -
3 And I drew near to the prophetess and she conceived and she bore a son and he said Yahweh to me call name his Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz.
Und ich nahte der Prophetin, und sie ward schwanger und gebar einen Sohn. Und Jehova sprach zu mir: Gib ihm den Namen: "Es eilt der Raub, bald kommt die Beute".
4 For before he will know the lad to call out O father my and O mother my someone will carry off - [the] wealth of Damascus and [the] plunder of Samaria before [the] king of Assyria.
Denn ehe der Knabe zu rufen weiß "mein Vater" und "meine Mutter", wird man vor dem König von Assyrien hertragen den Reichtum von Damaskus und die Beute von Samaria.
5 And he repeated Yahweh to speak to me again saying.
Und Jehova fuhr fort, weiter zu mir zu reden, und sprach:
6 Because for it has rejected the people this [the] waters of Shiloah which go to gentleness and rejoicing with Rezin and [the] son of Remaliah.
Darum, daß dieses Volk die Wasser von Siloah verachtet, die still fließen, und Freude hat an Rezin und an dem Sohne Remaljas:
7 And therefore there! [the] Lord [is] about to bring up on them [the] waters of the River mighty and many [the] king of Assyria and all glory his and it will rise over all channels its and it will go over all banks its.
darum, siehe, läßt der Herr über sie heraufkommen die Wasser des Stromes, die mächtigen und großen-den König von Assyrien und alle seine Herrlichkeit; [O. seine ganze Heeresmenge] und er wird über alle seine Betten steigen und über alle seine Ufer gehen.
8 And it will pass on in Judah it will overflow and it will pass over to [the] neck it will reach and it will be [the] spreading of wings its [the] fullness of [the] breadth of land your O Immanu-el.
Und er wird in Juda eindringen, überschwemmen und überfluten; bis an den Hals wird er reichen. Und die Ausdehnung seiner Flügel wird die Breite deines Landes füllen, Immanuel!
9 Be bad O peoples and be shattered and give ear O all [the] distant places of [the] earth gird yourselves and be shattered gird yourselves and be shattered.
Tobet, [Eig. Erboset euch] ihr Völker, und werdet zerschmettert! Und nehmet es zu Ohren, alle ihr Fernen der Erde! Gürtet euch und werdet zerschmettert, gürtet euch und werdet zerschmettert!
10 Plan a plan so it may be frustrated speak a word and not it will stand for [is] with us God.
Beschließet einen Ratschlag, und er soll vereitelt werden; redet ein Wort, und es soll nicht zustande kommen; denn Gott ist mit uns.
11 For thus he said Yahweh to me according to [the] strength of the hand and he will instruct me from walking in [the] way of the people this saying.
Denn also hat Jehova zu mir gesprochen, indem seine Hand stark auf mir war und er [Eig. gesprochen, mit starker Hand, indem er usw. [Vergl. Hes. 3,14]] mich warnte, nicht auf dem Wege dieses Volkes zu wandeln:
12 Not you must say! conspiracy of all that it is saying the people this conspiracy and fear its not you must fear and not you must regard with awe.
Ihr sollt nicht alles Verschwörung nennen, was dieses Volk Verschwörung nennt; und fürchtet nicht ihre Furcht [d. h. das, was sie fürchten] und erschrecket nicht davor.
13 Yahweh of hosts him you will regard as holy and he [will be] fear your and he [the] [one whom] regard with awe you.
Jehova der Heerscharen, den sollt ihr heiligen; und er sei eure Furcht, und er sei euer Schrecken.
14 And he will become a sanctuary and a stone of striking and a rock of stumbling for [the] two [the] houses of Israel a trap and a snare for [the] inhabitant[s] of Jerusalem.
Und er wird zum Heiligtum sein; aber zum Stein des Anstoßes und zum Fels des Strauchelns den beiden Häusern Israels, zur Schlinge und zum Fallstrick den Bewohnern von Jerusalem.
15 And they will stumble over them many [people] and they will fall and they will be broken and they will be ensnared and they will be captured.
Und viele unter ihnen werden straucheln, und werden fallen und zerschmettert und verstrickt und gefangen werden. -
16 Bind up [the] testimony seal up [the] instruction among disciples my.
Binde das Zeugnis zu, versiegele das Gesetz [O. die Lehre, Unterweisung] unter [O. in] meinen Jüngern. -
17 And I will wait for Yahweh who is hiding face his from [the] house of Jacob and I will wait eagerly for him.
Und ich will auf Jehova harren, der sein Angesicht verbirgt vor dem Hause Jakob, und will auf ihn hoffen.
18 Here! I and the children whom he has given to me Yahweh for signs and for portents in Israel from with Yahweh of hosts who dwells on [the] mountain of Zion.
Siehe, ich und die Kinder, die Jehova mir gegeben hat, wir sind zu Zeichen und zu Wundern [O. Vorbildern] in Israel, vor Jehova der Heerscharen, der da wohnt auf dem Berge Zion.
19 And if they will say to you consult the necromancers and the soothsayers who whisper and who mutter ¿ not a people God its will it consult for the living the dead.
Und wenn sie zu euch sprechen werden: Befraget die Totenbeschwörer und die Wahrsager, die da flüstern und murmeln, so sprechet: Soll nicht ein Volk seinen Gott befragen? soll es für die Lebenden die Toten befragen?
20 To [the] instruction and to [the] testimony if not they will speak according to the manner this that not [belongs] to it dawn.
Zum Gesetz und zum Zeugnis! Wenn sie nicht nach diesem Worte sprechen, so gibt es für sie keine Morgenröte. [Eig. so ist es [das Volk] ein solches, für welches es keine Morgenröte gibt]
21 And it will pass in it hard pressed and hungry and it will be that it will be hungry and it will be enraged and it will curse king its and God its and it will turn upwards.
Und es wird darin [d. h. im Lande] umherziehen, schwer gedrückt und hungernd. Und es wird geschehen, wenn es Hunger leidet, so wird es erzürnt sein und seinen König und seinen Gott verfluchen.
22 And to [the] earth it will look and there! trouble and darkness gloom of distress and gloom [it is] thrust out.
Und es wird aufwärts schauen und wird zur Erde blicken: und siehe, Drangsal und Finsternis, angstvolles Dunkel; und in dichte Finsternis ist es hineingestoßen.
