Isaiah 7
1 And it was in [the] days of Ahaz [the] son of Jotham [the] son of Uzziah [the] king of Judah he went up Rezin [the] king of Aram and Pekah [the] son of Remaliah [the] king of Israel Jerusalem for battle on it and not he was able to engage in battle on it.

3 And he said Yahweh to Isaiah go out please to meet Ahaz you and Shear-jashub son your to [the] end of [the] conduit of the pool upper to [the] highway of [the] field of [the] washer.

4 And you will say to him take care and show quietness may not you be afraid and heart your may not it be weak from [the] two [the] stumps of pieces of firewood smoking these by [the] heat of [the] anger of Rezin and Aram and [the] son of Remaliah.

5 Because for it has planned on you Aram harm Ephraim and [the] son of Remaliah saying.

6 Let us go up on Judah and let us demolish it and let us break into it to ourselves and let us make king a king in [the] midst of it [the] son of Tabeel.

7 Thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh not it will stand and not it will happen.
Want dit zegt Jahweh, de Heer: Het zal niet gebeuren, het zal niet bestaan!
8 For [is] [the] head of Aram Damascus and [is] [the] head of Damascus Rezin and in yet sixty and five year[s] it will be shattered Ephraim from a people.
Want het hoofd van Aram is Damascus, Het hoofd van Damascus is Resin,
9 And [is] [the] head of Ephraim Samaria and [is] [the] head of Samaria [the] son of Remaliah if not you will believe for not you will be established.
Het hoofd van Efraïm is Samaria, Het hoofd van Samaria de zoon van Remaljáhoe: Over vijf en zestig jaar is Efraïm verwoest en ontvolkt: Vertrouwt ge het niet, dan houdt ge het niet!
10 And he repeated Yahweh to speak to Ahaz saying.
En Isaias vervolgde tot Achaz:
11 Ask for yourself a sign from with Yahweh God your make deep [as] Sheol or make high upwards. (Sheol h7585)
Vraag een teken van Jahweh, uw God: diep in het dodenrijk, of hoog aan de hemel. (Sheol h7585)
12 And he said Ahaz not I will ask and not I will put to [the] test Yahweh.
Maar Achaz zeide: Ik zal er geen vragen, en Jahweh niet tarten.
13 And he said hear please O house of David ¿ [too] little for you [is] to make weary people that you will make weary also God my.
Toen sprak hij: Luister dan, huis van David! Is het u niet genoeg, mensen ongeduldig te maken, dat gij ook het geduld van mijn God op de proef stelt?
14 Therefore he will give [the] Lord he to you a sign there! the young woman [will be] pregnant and [will] bear a son and she will call name his Immanu-el.
Daarom geeft de Heer zelf u een teken: Zie, de maagd zal ontvangen, en een zoon baren; zij zal hem noemen: "God-met-ons".
15 Curd and honey he will eat to knowing his to reject the evil and to choose the good.
Stremsel van melk en wilde honing zal hij eten, totdat hij het kwade weet te verwerpen, en het goede te kiezen.
16 For before he will know the lad to reject the evil and to choose the good it will be forsaken the land which you [are] feeling dread of [the] two kings its.

17 He will bring Yahweh on you and on people your and on [the] house of father your days which not they have come from [the] day departed Ephraim from with Judah [the] king of Assyria.

18 And it will be - in the day that he will whistle Yahweh for the fly which [is] at [the] end of [the] canals of Egypt and for the bee which [is] in [the] land of Assyria.

19 And they will come and they will settle all of them in [the] wadis of the cliffs and in [the] clefts of the rocks and on all the thornbushes and in all the watering-places.
Ze komen en strijken in drommen neer In de kloven der dalen, in de spleten der rotsen, Op alle struiken en dreven.
20 In the day that he will shave [the] Lord with a razor hired on [the] other sides [the] River with [the] king of Assyria the head and [the] hair of the feet and also the beard it will sweep away.
Op die dag scheert de Heer Met een mes, dat Hij huurt Aan de overkant van de Eufraat: "Den koning van Assjoer", De hoofd- en schaamharen af, En de baard neemt Hij weg.
21 And it will be in the day that he will preserve alive a person a heifer of [the] herd and two sheep.
Op die dag zal een ieder Een koetje en een paar geiten houden,
22 And it will be from [the] abundance of producing of milk he will eat curd for curd and honey he will eat every [one who] remains in [the] midst of the land.
En van de melk, die overschiet, Het stremsel gebruiken. Ja, men zal stremsel van melk en wilde honing moeten eten, Iedereen, die overblijft in het land.
23 And it will be in the day that it will be every place where it was there a thousand vine[s] for a thousand silver the thorn[s] and the> bush[es] it will become.

24 With arrows and with bow anyone will go there for thorn[s] and bush[es] it will be all the land.
Enkel met pijlen en boog Trekt men daar rond. Ja het hele land zal bedekt zijn met doornen en distels,
25 And all the hills which with the hoe they were hoed! not you will go there fear of thorn[s] and bush[es] and it will become pastureland of ox[en] and a trampling place of sheep.
En alle bergen, die met de spade werden bewerkt. Men zal er niet heengaan Uit vrees voor de doornen en distels; Ze zullen enkel nog dienen, om er het vee in te jagen, En door de schapen te worden vertrapt.
