< Isaiah 64 >

1 if you tore [the] heavens you came down from before you mountains they shook.
Ao, sɛ anka wubesunsuane ɔsorosoro mu, asian aba fam a, ɛno na anka mmepɔw no ho bɛpopo wɔ wʼanim!
2 As kindles fire brushwood water it boils fire to make known name your to opponents your from before you nations they will quake.
Sɛnea ogya ma mmabaa dɛw na ɛma nsu huru no, sian bra fam na ma wʼatamfo nhu wo din, na ma amanaman no ho mpopo wɔ wʼanim!
3 When doing you awesome [deeds] [which] not we were looking for you came down from before you mountains they shook.
Na bere a woyɛɛ nneɛma a ɛyɛ nwonwa a yɛanhwɛ anim no, wusian baa fam na mmepɔw no ho popoo wɔ wʼanim.
4 And from long ago not people have heard not people have given ear eye not it has seen a God besides you [who] he acts for [one who] waits for him.
Efi teteete obiara ntee, entwaa obiara aso mu, ani biara nhuu Onyankopɔn bi sɛ wo, nea odi dwuma ma wɔn a wɔtwɛn no no.
5 You meet [one who] rejoices and [one who] does righteousness in ways your they remember you there! you you were angry and we sinned in them long duration so we may be saved?
Woboa wɔn a wɔde anigye yɛ nea ɛteɛ, wɔn a wɔkae wʼakwan. Nanso yɛkɔɔ so yɛɛ bɔne tiaa wɔn no, wo bo fuwii. Na afei ɛbɛyɛ dɛn na woagye yɛn nkwa?
6 And we have become like unclean [person] all of us and [are] like a garment of menstruation all righteousness our and we have withered like leafage all of us and iniquities our like the wind they carry off us.
Yɛn nyinaa ayɛ sɛ obi a ne ho ntew, na yɛn trenee nneyɛe nyinaa te sɛ ntamagow fi; yɛn nyinaa akisa te sɛ ahaban, na yɛn bɔne pra yɛn kɔ te sɛ mframa.
7 And there not [is one who] calls on name your [one who] rouses himself to take hold on you for you have hidden face your from us and you have melted us in [the] hand of iniquity our.
Obiara mmɔ wo din, na obiara mpere sɛ obeso wo mu; efisɛ wode wʼanim ahintaw yɛn na yɛn bɔne nti woama yɛasɛe.
8 And now O Yahweh [are] father our you we [are] the clay and you [are] [the] [one who] formed us and [are] [the] work of hand your all of us.
Nanso wo, Awurade, ne yɛn Agya. Yɛyɛ dɔte, na wo ne ɔnwemfo no; yɛn nyinaa yɛ wo nsa ano adwuma.
9 May not you be angry O Yahweh up to muchness and may not for ever you remember iniquity here! look please [are] people your all of us.
Mma wo bo mfuw ntra so, Awurade; nkae yɛn bɔne da biara da. Ao, brɛ wʼani ase hwɛ yɛn, yɛsrɛ wo, efisɛ yɛn nyinaa yɛ wo nkurɔfo.
10 [the] cities of Holiness your they have been a wilderness Zion a wilderness it has been Jerusalem [is] a desolation.
Wo nkuropɔn kronkron no adan nweatam; Sion mpo ayɛ nweatam, Yerusalem ada mpan.
11 [the] house of Holiness our and splendor our where they praised you ancestors our it has become a burning of fire and all pleasant things our it has become a ruin.
Yɛn asɔredan kronkron a ɛwɔ anuonyam, faako a yɛn nenanom yii wo ayɛ no, wɔde ogya ahyew, na nea ɛsom bo ma yɛn no, abubu.
12 ¿ On these [things] will you restrain yourself O Yahweh will you be silent? and will you afflict? us up to muchness.
Eyi nyinaa akyi, Awurade, wode wo ho bɛkame yɛn ana? Wobɛkɔ so ayɛ komm atwe yɛn aso aboro so ana?
