Isaiah 48
1 Listen to this O house of Jacob those [who] are called by [the] name of Israel and from [the] waters of Judah they came out those [who] swear - by [the] name of Yahweh and [the] God of Israel they bring to remembrance not in truth and not in righteousness.
Čujte ovo, kućo Jakovljeva, vi koji se zovete imenom Izraelovim i koji ste izišli iz voda Judinih! Vi koji se Jahvinim imenom kunete i slavite Boga Izraelova, ali ne u istini i pravdi.
2 For from [the] city of holiness they have called themselves and on [the] God of Israel they have supported themselves [is] Yahweh of hosts name his.
Jer vi se nazivate po Svetome gradu i oslanjate se na Boga Izraelova, Jahve nad Vojskama njemu je ime.
3 The former [things] from then I declared and from mouth my they went out and I proclaimed them suddenly I acted and they came.
Dogođaje prošle odavna sam navijestio, iz mojih su izišli usta i ja sam ih objavio, učinih brzo, i zbi se.
4 For knew I that [were] stubborn you and [was] a sinew of iron neck your and forehead your [was] bronze.
Jer znao sam da si tvrdokoran, da ti je šija žila gvozdena i čelo da ti je mjedeno.
5 And I declared [them] to you from then before it came I proclaimed to you lest you should say idol my it did them and carved image my and molten image my it commanded them.
Zato sam ti već onda navijestio, javio ti prije nego što se zbilo, da ne bi rekao: “Moj kip učini to, rezani moj lik i ljeveni kip zapovjediše tako!”
6 You have heard look at all of it and you ¿ not will you tell I will proclaim to you new [things] from now and secret [things] and not you have known them.
Čuo si i vidio sve to; zar ne priznaješ? A sada navijestit ću ti nešto novo, otajno, što još ne znaš;
7 Now they have been created and not from then and before a day and not you had heard of them lest you should say here! I knew them.
ovog je trena stvoreno, a ne odavna, o tome dosad nisi ništa čuo, da ne bi rekao: “Znao sam.”
8 Neither not you heard nor not you knew nor from then not it opened ear your for I knew certainly you will act treacherously and a rebel from [the] womb it has been called to you.
Nisi o tome čuo ni znao, niti se uho tvoje prije otvorilo, jer znadoh da ćeš se iznevjeriti i da te od utrobe majčine zovu otpadnikom.
9 For [the] sake of name my I will make long anger my and praise my I will restrain myself to you to not to cut off you.
Radi imena svoga odgađah svoj gnjev, radi časti svoje susprezah se da te ne uništim.
10 Here! I have refined you and not silver I have chosen you in a furnace of affliction.
Gle, pročistio sam te poput srebra, iskušao te u talioniku nevolje.
11 For own sake my for own sake my I will act for how? will it be profaned and glory my to another not I will give.
Sebe radi činih tako, sebe radi! TÓa zar da se ime moje obeščasti? Slave svoje drugome ne dam!
12 Listen to me O Jacob and Israel called [one] my I [am] he I [am] first also I [am] last.
Čuj me, Jakove, Izraele, koga sam pozvao: Ja jesam, ja sam prvi, ja sam i posljednji.
13 Also hand my it founded [the] earth and right [hand] my it spread out [the] heavens [am] calling I to them they stand together.
Ruka moja zemlju utemelji, desnica mi razape nebesa. Pozovem ih samo, i odmah dolaze.
14 Gather together all of you and listen who? among them has he declared these [things] Yahweh he loves him he will execute pleasure his on Babylon and arm his [the] Chaldeans.
Saberite se svi i čujte: tko je od njih to prorekao? “Onaj koga Jahve ljubi ispunit će volju moju nad Babilonom i nad potomstvom kaldejskim.”
15 I I I have spoken also I have summoned him I have brought him and he will make successful way his.
Ja rekoh i pozvah ga, vodih ga i pomogoh u naumu.
16 Draw near to me listen to this not from [the] beginning in secrecy I have spoken from [the] time happened it [was] there I and now [the] Lord Yahweh he has sent me and spirit his.
Pristupite k meni i počujte ovo: “Od početka nisam vam govorio tajno, i kad se zbivalo, bijah ondje.” - “A sada me Gospod Jahve šalje s duhom svojim.”
17 Thus he says Yahweh redeemer your [the] holy [one] of Israel I [am] Yahweh God your [who] teaches you to profit [who] leads you in [the] way [which] you will go.
Ovako govori Jahve, otkupitelj tvoj, Svetac Izraelov: “Ja, Jahve, Bog tvoj, tvojem dobru te učim, vodim te putem kojim ti je ići.
18 If you had paid attention to commandments my and it was like river peace your and righteousness your like [the] waves of the sea.
O, da si pazio na zapovijedi moje, kao rijeka sreća bi tvoja bila, a pravda tvoja kao morski valovi!
19 And it was like the sand offspring your and [the] descendants of inward parts your like grains its not it will be cut off and not it will be destroyed name its from to before me.
Potomstva bi tvojeg bilo kao pijeska, a poroda utrobe tvoje kao njegovih zrnaca! Nikad ti se ime ne bi zatrlo niti izbrisalo preda mnom!”
20 Go out from Babylon flee from [the] Chaldeans with a sound of a shout of joy declare proclaim this send out it to [the] end of the earth say he has redeemed Yahweh servant his Jacob.
Izađite iz Babilona, bježite iz Kaldeje! Glasno kličući, kazujte, objavljujte, do nakraj zemlje razglasite! Govorite: “Jahve je otkupio slugu svoga Jakova!
21 And not they were thirsty [when] in [the] waste places he led them water from a rock he caused to flow for them and he split open a rock and they flowed out waters.
Nisu žeđali dok ih je kroz pustinju vodio; iz stijene je za njih vodu izbio, rascijepio je pećinu i potekla je voda.”
22 Not peace he says Yahweh [belongs] to wicked [people].
“Nema mira opakima,” kaže Jahve.
