Isaiah 46
1 He has bowed down Bel [is] stooping low Nebo they belong idols their to the animal[s] and to the cattle burdens your [are] carried a load for a weary [animal].
Bel est culbuté, Nebo précipité; on met leurs images sur des animaux et des bêtes; ceux que vous portiez chargent de leur poids des bestiaux fatigués!
2 They have stooped low they have bowed down together not they have been able to rescue a burden and self their in captivity it has gone.
Ils sont culbutés, précipités ensemble, et ne peuvent sauver le fardeau, et eux-mêmes ils s'en vont captifs. –
3 Listen to me O house of Jacob and all [the] remnant of [the] house of Israel who have been carried from [the] belly who have been borne from [the] womb.
Écoutez-moi, maison de Jacob, et vous, tous les restes de la maison d'Israël! je me suis chargé de vous dès votre origine, je vous ai portés dès votre naissance, et jusqu'à vos vieux jours je serai le même,
4 And until old age I [am] he and until gray hair I I will carry I I made and I I will bear and I I will carry and I may rescue.
et jusqu'à la blanche vieillesse je vous soutiendrai; je l'ai fait et je vous porterai encore, je veux soutenir et sauver.
5 To whom? will you liken me and you may make [me] equal? and will you compare? me and we may be alike.
A qui pourriez-vous m'assimiler? de qui me faire l'égal? à qui me comparer, pour que nous nous ressemblions?
6 Those [who] pour out gold from a bag and silver on scale[s] they weigh out they hire a metalsmith and he makes it a god they prostrate themselves also they bow down.
Ceux qui laissent couler l'or de leur bourse et pèsent l'argent à la balance, prennent à gages un orfèvre pour qu'il leur fasse un Dieu: ils se prosternent et l'adorent.
7 They lift up it on a shoulder they carry it and they set down it in place its so it may stand from place its not it departs also he cries out to it and not it answers from trouble his not it delivers him.
Ils le lèvent, en chargent leur épaule, et le mettent sur pied pour qu'il se tienne; et de sa place il ne bouge; on a beau lui crier, il ne répond pas; de leur détresse il ne les sauve pas.
8 Remember this and pluck up courage bring [it] back O rebels on heart.
Souvenez-vous-en et pensez en hommes! rebelles, réfléchissez-y!
9 Remember former [things] from long ago for I [am] God and there not [is] yet God and there not [is] like me.
Rappelez-vous les premiers événements de jadis; car je suis Dieu, et il n'en est point d'autre; je suis Seigneur, et n'ai pas mon pareil;
10 [one who] declares From [the] beginning [the] end and from antiquity [things] which not they have been done [one who] says purpose my it will be fulfilled and all desire my I will accomplish.
c'est moi qui dès l'origine annonce l'avenir, et dans le passé ce qui n'était pas encore; qui dis: « Ce que j'arrête, se fera, et j'accomplirai toute ma volonté! »
11 [one who] calls From [the] east a bird of prey from a land of distance a man of (purpose my *Q(K)*) also I have spoken also I will bring it I have planned also I will accomplish it.
qui du Levant ai appelé un aigle, et d'une terre lointaine l'exécuteur de mon décret. Je l'ai dit, et je le réalise; je l'ai projeté, et je l'exécuterai.
12 Listen to me O [people] mighty of heart O [people] distant from righteousness.
Écoutez-moi, vous qui êtes endurcis de cœur et loin de la justice!
13 I have brought near righteousness my not it is far away and salvation my not it will delay and I will give in Zion salvation to Israel splendor my.
Je fais approcher ma justice; elle n'est pas loin, et mon salut ne tardera pas. Je mettrai mon salut en Sion, et sur Israël ma gloire.
