Isaiah 44
1 And therefore listen O Jacob servant my and Israel [whom] I have chosen it.
Mais maintenant, ô Jacob! mon serviteur, écoute; et toi Israël que j'ai élu.
2 Thus he says Yahweh [who] made you and [who] formed you from [the] womb he will help you may not you be afraid O servant my Jacob and Jeshurun [whom] I have chosen it.
Ainsi a dit l'Eternel, qui t'a fait et formé dès le ventre, [et qui] t'aide; ne crains point, ô Jacob mon serviteur! et toi Jésurun que j'ai élu.
3 For I will pour out water on thirsty [ground] and streams on dry ground I will pour out spirit my on offspring your and blessing my on descendants your.
Car je répandrai des eaux sur celui qui est altéré, et des rivières sur la [terre] sèche; je répandrai mon esprit sur ta postérité, et ma bénédiction sur ceux qui sortiront de toi.
4 And they will spring up in between grass like poplars at watercourses of water.
Et ils germeront [comme] parmi l'herbage, comme les saules auprès des eaux courantes.
5 This one he will say [belong] to Yahweh I and this one he will call out with [the] name of Jacob and this one he will write hand his [belongs] to Yahweh and with [the] name of Israel he will name.
L'un dira; je suis à l'Eternel, et l'autre se réclamera du nom de Jacob; et un autre écrira de sa main; je suis à l'Eternel; et se surnommera du Nom d'Israël.
6 Thus he says Yahweh [the] king of Israel and redeemer its Yahweh of hosts I [am] first and I [am] last and except me there not [is] a god.
Ainsi a dit l'Eternel, le Roi d'Israël et son Rédempteur, l'Eternel des armées; je suis le premier, et je suis le dernier; et il n'y a point d'autre Dieu que moi.
7 And who? [is] like me let him proclaim [it] and let him declare it and let him recount in order it to me from when established I a people of antiquity and [the] coming [things] and [the things] which they will come let them declare to them.
Et qui est celui qui ait appelé comme moi, qui m'ait déclaré, et ordonné cela, depuis que j'ai établi le peuple ancien? qu'ils leur déclarent les choses à venir, les choses, [dis-je], qui arriveront ci-après.
8 May not you be in dread and may not you fear ¿ not from then did I proclaim to you and did I declare and you [are] witnesses my ¿ [is] there a god except me and there not [is] a rock not I know.
Ne soyez point effrayés, et ne soyez point troublés; ne te l'ai-je pas fait entendre et déclaré dès ce temps-là? et vous m'en êtes témoins; y-a-t-il quelque autre Dieu que moi? certes il n'y a point d'autre Rocher; je n'en connais point.
9 [those who] form an idol All of them [are] nothingness and desired [things] their not they confer profit and witnesses their they not they see and not they know so that they may be ashamed.
Les ouvriers des images taillées ne sont tous qu'un rien, et leurs choses les plus précieux ne profitent de rien; et ils leur sont témoins qu'ils ne voient point, et ne connaissent point, afin qu'ils soient honteux.
10 Who? has he formed a god and an idol has he cast? to not to confer profit.
[Mais] qui est-ce qui a formé un [Dieu] Fort, et qui a fondu une image taillée, pour n'en avoir aucun profit?
11 There! all companions his they will be ashamed and craftsmen they [are] from humankind let them gather together all of them let them stand up let them be in dread let them be ashamed altogether.
Voici, tous ses compagnons seront honteux, car ces ouvriers-là sont d'entre les hommes; ils seront effrayés et rendus honteux tous ensemble.
12 A craftsman of iron a tool and he works [it] on the coal[s] and with hammers he forms it and he worked it with [the] arm of strength his also he is hungry and there not [is] strength not he drinks water and he grew weary.
Le forgeron de fer [prend] le ciseau et travaille avec le charbon, il le forme avec des marteaux, il le fait à force de bras, même ayant faim, tellement qu'il n'en peut plus; et s'il ne boit point d'eau, il en est tout fatigué.
13 A craftsman of wood he stretches out a measuring-line he outlines it with marker he works it with scraping tools and with compass he outlines it and he made it like [the] form of a man like [the] beauty of a man to dwell a house.
Le menuisier étend sa règle, et le crayonne avec de la craie; il le fait avec des équerres, et le forme au compas, et le fait à la ressemblance d'un homme, et le pare comme un homme, afin qu'il demeure dans la maison.
14 To cut down for himself cedars and he took a cypress and an oak and he strengthened [it] for himself among [the] trees of [the] forest he plants laurel and rain it makes [it] grow.
Il se coupe des cèdres, et prend un cyprès, ou un chêne, qu'il a laissé croître parmi les arbres de la forêt; il plante un frêne, et la pluie le fait croître.
15 And it belongs to anyone to burn and he took some of them and he became warm also he kindles a fire and he bakes bread also he makes a god and he bowed down he makes it an idol and he prostrated himself to it.
Puis il servira à l'homme pour brûler; car il en prend, et s'en chauffe; il en fait, dis-je, du feu, et en cuit du pain; il en fait aussi un Dieu, et se prosterne [devant lui]; il en fait une image taillée, et l'adore.
16 Half of it he burns in a fire over half of it meat he eats he roasts roasted meat so he may be satisfied also he is warm and he may say aha! I am warm I see a fire.
Il en brûle au feu une partie, et d'une autre partie il mange sa chair, laquelle il rôtit, et s'en rassasie; il s'en chauffe aussi, et il dit; ha! ha! je me suis réchauffé, j'ai vu la lueur [du feu].
17 And [the] remainder of it a god he makes idol his (he prostrates himself *Q(k)*) to it so he may bow down and he may pray to it so he may say deliver me for [are] god my you.
Puis du reste il en fait un Dieu pour être son image taillée; il l'adore et se prosterne devant lui, et lui fait sa requête, [et lui dit]; Délivre-moi, car tu es mon Dieu.
18 Not they know and not they understand for it is besmeared from seeing eyes their from having insight hearts their.
[Ces gens] ne savent et n'entendent rien; car on leur a plâtré les yeux, afin qu'ils ne voient point; et leurs cœurs, afin qu'ils n'entendent point.
19 And not he brings to heart his and not knowledge and not understanding to say half of it I burned in a fire and also I baked on coals its bread I roasted meat so I may eat [it] and [the] remainder of it an abomination will I make? to a product of a tree will I prostrate myself?
Nul ne rentre en soi-même, et n'a ni connaissance, ni intelligence, pour dire; j'ai brûlé la moitié de ceci au feu, et même j'en ai cuit du pain sur les charbons; j'en ai rôti de la chair, et j'en ai mangé; et du reste en ferais-je une abomination? adorerais-je une branche de bois?
20 [he is] feeding Ash[es] a heart [which] it is deceived it has turned aside him and not he will deliver self his and not he will say ¿ not [is] falsehood in right [hand] my.
Il se paît de cendre, et son cœur abusé le fait égarer; et il ne délivrera point son âme, et ne dira point; [ce qui] est dans ma main droite n'est-il pas une fausseté?
21 Remember these [things] O Jacob and O Israel for [are] servant my you I formed you [are] a servant of me you O Israel not you will be forgotten by me.
Jacob et Israël, souviens-toi de ces choses, car tu es mon serviteur; je t'ai formé, tu es mon serviteur, ô Israël! je ne te mettrai point en oubli.
22 I have wiped out like dark cloud transgressions your and like cloud sins your return! to me for I have redeemed you.
J'ai effacé tes forfaits comme une nuée épaisse, et tes péchés, comme une nuée; retourne à moi, car je t'ai racheté.
23 Shout for joy O heaven for he has acted Yahweh shout in triumph O lower parts of [the] earth break forth O mountains a shout of joy O forest and every tree in it for he has redeemed Yahweh Jacob and by Israel he will get glory for himself.
O cieux! réjouissez-vous avec chant de triomphe, car l'Eternel a opéré; lieux bas de la terre, jetez des cris de réjouissance; montagnes, éclatez de joie avec chant de triomphe; [et vous aussi] forêts, et tous les arbres qui êtes en elles, parce que l'Eternel a racheté Jacob, et s'est manifesté glorieusement en Israël.
24 Thus he says Yahweh redeemer your and [the one who] formed you from [the] womb I [am] Yahweh [who] made everything [who] stretched out [the] heavens to alone me [who] spread out the earth (from with myself. *Q(K)*)
Ainsi a dit l'Eternel ton Rédempteur, et celui gui t'a formé dès le ventre; je suis l'Eternel qui ai fait toutes choses, qui [seul] ai étendu les cieux, et qui ai par moi-même aplani la terre;
25 [who] frustrates [the] signs of Empty talkers and diviners he makes look foolish [who] turns back wise [people] backwards and knowledge their he makes foolish.
Qui dissipe les signes des menteurs, qui rends insensés les devins; qui renverse l'esprit des sages, et qui fais que leur science devient une folie.
26 [who] establishes [the] word of Servant his and [the] counsel of messengers his he performs who says of Jerusalem it will be inhabited and of [the] cities of Judah they will be rebuilt and ruins its I will raise up.
C'est lui qui met en exécution la parole de son serviteur, et qui accomplit le conseil de ses messagers; qui dit à Jérusalem; tu seras [encore] habitée; et aux villes de Juda; vous serez rebâties; et je redresserai ses lieux déserts.
27 Who says to the ocean-deep be dried up and rivers your I will make dry.
Qui dit au gouffre; sois asséché, et je tarirai tes fleuves.
28 Who says of Cyrus shepherd my and all desire my he will perform and to say of Jerusalem let it be rebuilt and [the] temple let it be refounded.
Qui dit de Cyrus; c'est mon Berger; il accomplira tout mon bon plaisir, disant même à Jérusalem; tu seras rebâtie; et au Temple; tu seras fondé.
