Isaiah 44
1 And therefore listen O Jacob servant my and Israel [whom] I have chosen it.
Et maintenant, écoute, Jacob, mon serviteur, et toi, Israël, que j'ai choisi.
2 Thus he says Yahweh [who] made you and [who] formed you from [the] womb he will help you may not you be afraid O servant my Jacob and Jeshurun [whom] I have chosen it.
Ainsi parle Yahweh, qui t'a fait, qui t'a formé dès le sein de ta mère, et secouru: Ne crains point, Jacob, mon serviteur, mon Israël, que j'ai choisi!
3 For I will pour out water on thirsty [ground] and streams on dry ground I will pour out spirit my on offspring your and blessing my on descendants your.
Car je répandrai des eaux sur le sol altéré, et des ruisseaux sur la terre desséchée. Je répandrai mon esprit sur ta postérité, et ma bénédiction sur tes rejetons.
4 And they will spring up in between grass like poplars at watercourses of water.
Et ils croîtront parmi la verdure, comme les saules le long des eaux courantes.
5 This one he will say [belong] to Yahweh I and this one he will call out with [the] name of Jacob and this one he will write hand his [belongs] to Yahweh and with [the] name of Israel he will name.
Celui-ci dira: " Je suis à Yahweh! " celui-ci se réclamera du nom de Jacob; un autre écrira sur sa main: " A Yahweh! " et il prendra pour surnom le nom d'Israël.
6 Thus he says Yahweh [the] king of Israel and redeemer its Yahweh of hosts I [am] first and I [am] last and except me there not [is] a god.
Ainsi parle Yahweh, le roi d'Israël et son rédempteur, Yahweh des armées: Je suis le premier et je suis le dernier, et il n'y a pas de Dieu en dehors de moi!
7 And who? [is] like me let him proclaim [it] and let him declare it and let him recount in order it to me from when established I a people of antiquity and [the] coming [things] and [the things] which they will come let them declare to them.
Qui est comme moi, — qu'il parle, qu'il le déclare, qu'il me le montre! — depuis que j'ai fondé l'humanité des jours antiques? Qu'ils annoncent donc l'avenir et ce qui doit arriver!
8 May not you be in dread and may not you fear ¿ not from then did I proclaim to you and did I declare and you [are] witnesses my ¿ [is] there a god except me and there not [is] a rock not I know.
Ne soyez point effrayés et ne craignez point! Ne te l'ai-je pas dès longtemps fait connaître et annoncé? — vous m'en êtes témoins! Y a-t-il un Dieu en dehors de moi? Il n'y a pas d'autre Rocher; je n'en connais point.
9 [those who] form an idol All of them [are] nothingness and desired [things] their not they confer profit and witnesses their they not they see and not they know so that they may be ashamed.
Les fabricateurs d'idoles ne sont tous que néant, et leurs chefs-d'œuvre ne servent à rien; leurs témoins, eux, ne voient rien ni ne comprennent rien, pour leur honte.
10 Who? has he formed a god and an idol has he cast? to not to confer profit.
Qui a formé un dieu, qui a fondu une idole, pour n'en retirer aucune utilité?
11 There! all companions his they will be ashamed and craftsmen they [are] from humankind let them gather together all of them let them stand up let them be in dread let them be ashamed altogether.
Voici que tous ses adorateurs seront confondus; et les ouvriers ne sont que des hommes! Qu'ils s'assemblent tous, qu'ils se présentent!... Ils trembleront et seront confondus tous ensemble.
12 A craftsman of iron a tool and he works [it] on the coal[s] and with hammers he forms it and he worked it with [the] arm of strength his also he is hungry and there not [is] strength not he drinks water and he grew weary.
L'ouvrier en fer travaille avec le ciseau, il passe son œuvre dans les charbons embrasés, il la façonne avec le marteau; il la travaille d'un bras vigoureux. Cependant, il a faim, et le voilà sans force; il ne boit pas d'eau, et le voilà épuisé!
13 A craftsman of wood he stretches out a measuring-line he outlines it with marker he works it with scraping tools and with compass he outlines it and he made it like [the] form of a man like [the] beauty of a man to dwell a house.
L'ouvrier en bois tend le cordeau, il trace la forme au crayon, la façonne avec le ciseau, la mesure au compas; il en fait une figure d'homme, la belle figure humaine, pour qu'elle loge dans une maison.
14 To cut down for himself cedars and he took a cypress and an oak and he strengthened [it] for himself among [the] trees of [the] forest he plants laurel and rain it makes [it] grow.
Un homme va couper des cèdres; il prend des rouvres et des chênes; il fait un choix parmi les arbres de la forêt; ou bien il plante des cèdres, et la pluie les fait croître.
15 And it belongs to anyone to burn and he took some of them and he became warm also he kindles a fire and he bakes bread also he makes a god and he bowed down he makes it an idol and he prostrated himself to it.
Ce bois sert à l'homme pour brûler; il en prend pour se chauffer; il en allume aussi pour cuire son pain; il en fait aussi un dieu et il l'adore; il en fabrique une idole, et il se prosterne devant elle!
16 Half of it he burns in a fire over half of it meat he eats he roasts roasted meat so he may be satisfied also he is warm and he may say aha! I am warm I see a fire.
Il en a brûlé au feu la moitié; avec l'autre moitié, il apprête sa viande; il cuit son rôti et se rassasie. Il se chauffe aussi et il dit: " Ah! Ah! Je me réchauffe; je sens la flamme! "
17 And [the] remainder of it a god he makes idol his (he prostrates himself *Q(k)*) to it so he may bow down and he may pray to it so he may say deliver me for [are] god my you.
De ce qui en reste, il fait son dieu, son idole, qu'il adore en se prosternant, devant laquelle il prie, en disant: " Délivre-moi, car tu es mon Dieu! "
18 Not they know and not they understand for it is besmeared from seeing eyes their from having insight hearts their.
Ils ne savent pas, ils n'entendent pas, car leurs yeux sont couverts pour ne pas voir, et leurs cœurs pour ne pas comprendre.
19 And not he brings to heart his and not knowledge and not understanding to say half of it I burned in a fire and also I baked on coals its bread I roasted meat so I may eat [it] and [the] remainder of it an abomination will I make? to a product of a tree will I prostrate myself?
Et il ne rentre pas en soi-même; il n'a pas l'intelligence et le bon sens de se dire: " J'en ai brûlé la moitié au feu; j'ai aussi cuit du pain sur les braises; j'ai rôti de la viande et je l'ai mangée; et avec le reste je ferais une abomination, je me prosternerais devant un tronc d'arbre! "
20 [he is] feeding Ash[es] a heart [which] it is deceived it has turned aside him and not he will deliver self his and not he will say ¿ not [is] falsehood in right [hand] my.
Il se repaît de cendres; son cœur abusé l'égare. Il ne sauvera pas son âme et ne dira pas: " Ce qui est dans ma main n'est-il pas mensonge? "
21 Remember these [things] O Jacob and O Israel for [are] servant my you I formed you [are] a servant of me you O Israel not you will be forgotten by me.
Souviens-toi de ces choses, ô Jacob, ô Israël, car tu es mon serviteur; je t'ai formé pour mon serviteur, ô Israël, tu ne seras pas oublié de moi!
22 I have wiped out like dark cloud transgressions your and like cloud sins your return! to me for I have redeemed you.
J'ai effacé tes transgressions comme un nuage; et tes péchés comme une nuée: reviens à moi, car je t'ai racheté.
23 Shout for joy O heaven for he has acted Yahweh shout in triumph O lower parts of [the] earth break forth O mountains a shout of joy O forest and every tree in it for he has redeemed Yahweh Jacob and by Israel he will get glory for himself.
Cieux, poussez des cris de joie, car Yahweh a fait cela! Retentissez, profondeurs de la terre! Eclatez de joie, montagnes, forêts, avec tous vos arbres; car Yahweh a racheté Jacob, et manifesté sa gloire en Israël!
24 Thus he says Yahweh redeemer your and [the one who] formed you from [the] womb I [am] Yahweh [who] made everything [who] stretched out [the] heavens to alone me [who] spread out the earth (from with myself. *Q(K)*)
Ainsi parle Yahweh, ton rédempteur, qui t'a formé dès le sein de ta mère: C'est moi, Yahweh, qui ai fait toutes choses, moi qui seul ai déployé les cieux, affermi la terre: qui était avec moi?
25 [who] frustrates [the] signs of Empty talkers and diviners he makes look foolish [who] turns back wise [people] backwards and knowledge their he makes foolish.
Je déjoue les présages des prophètes de mensonge, et fais délirer les devins; je fais reculer les sages, et change leur science en folie.
26 [who] establishes [the] word of Servant his and [the] counsel of messengers his he performs who says of Jerusalem it will be inhabited and of [the] cities of Judah they will be rebuilt and ruins its I will raise up.
J'accomplis la parole de mon serviteur, et j'exécute le conseil de mes envoyés; je dis de Jérusalem: " Qu'elle soit habitée! " et des villes de Juda: " Qu'elles soient rebâties! je relèverai leurs ruines. "
27 Who says to the ocean-deep be dried up and rivers your I will make dry.
Je dis à l'abîme: " Taris! je dessécherai tes fleuves. "
28 Who says of Cyrus shepherd my and all desire my he will perform and to say of Jerusalem let it be rebuilt and [the] temple let it be refounded.
Je dis de Cyrus: " C'est mon berger; il accomplira toute ma volonté, en disant à Jérusalem: Sois rebâtie! et au temple: Sois fondé! "
