Isaiah 44
1 And therefore listen O Jacob servant my and Israel [whom] I have chosen it.
Ka sal Jakob neh ka coelh Israel loh hnatun laeh.
2 Thus he says Yahweh [who] made you and [who] formed you from [the] womb he will help you may not you be afraid O servant my Jacob and Jeshurun [whom] I have chosen it.
Hekah nang aka saii Yahovah long ni a thui. Te dongah bungko khuiah nang aka hlinsai loh nang m'bom ni. Ka sal Jakob nang rhih boeh, Jeshurun amah te khaw ka coelh coeng.
3 For I will pour out water on thirsty [ground] and streams on dry ground I will pour out spirit my on offspring your and blessing my on descendants your.
Tuihalh te tui neh, laiphuei te tuisih neh ka suep ni. Na tiingan te ka Mueihla neh, na cadil te ka yoethennah neh ka lun thil ni.
4 And they will spring up in between grass like poplars at watercourses of water.
Te vaengah rhahlawn tui taengkah tuirhi bangla sulrham lakli ah daih ni.
5 This one he will say [belong] to Yahweh I and this one he will call out with [the] name of Jacob and this one he will write hand his [belongs] to Yahweh and with [the] name of Israel he will name.
He long khaw, ‘Kai tah BOEIPA ham ni,’ a ti vetih, ke long khaw Jakob ming neh a khue ni. He kah loh a kut neh BOEIPA kawng a daek vetih Israel ming neh a mingkhaep ni.
6 Thus he says Yahweh [the] king of Israel and redeemer its Yahweh of hosts I [am] first and I [am] last and except me there not [is] a god.
Israel manghai Yahovah neh anih aka tlan caempuei BOEIPA loh, “Lamhma khaw kamah, lamhnuk khaw kamah coeng tih kai pawt atah Pathen tloe a om moenih.
7 And who? [is] like me let him proclaim [it] and let him declare it and let him recount in order it to me from when established I a people of antiquity and [the] coming [things] and [the things] which they will come let them declare to them.
Te dongah kamah bangla aka om te unim? Khue saeh lamtah doek lah saeh. Khosuen kah pilnam ka khueh parhi te ka hmaiah tael lah saeh. Aka thoeng tih aka thoeng ham te khaw a taengah puen uh.
8 May not you be in dread and may not you fear ¿ not from then did I proclaim to you and did I declare and you [are] witnesses my ¿ [is] there a god except me and there not [is] a rock not I know.
Rhih boeh, tangyah khueh boeh. Nang kan yaak sak tih ka puen daengrhae moenih a? Nangmih tah kamah kah laipai rhoek ni. Kai pawt atah Pathen tloe om a? Lungpang khaw a om moenih, ka ming khaw ka ming moenih.
9 [those who] form an idol All of them [are] nothingness and desired [things] their not they confer profit and witnesses their they not they see and not they know so that they may be ashamed.
Amih mueithuk aka hlinsai boeih khaw a honghi ni. A sanaep nen khaw a hoeikhang uh moenih. Amih loh amamih kah laipai rhoek khaw hmu uh pawt tih a ming uh pawt dongah yah a poh uh.
10 Who? has he formed a god and an idol has he cast? to not to confer profit.
Unim pathen aka picai tih a hoeikhang pawt ham mueithuk aka hloe?
11 There! all companions his they will be ashamed and craftsmen they [are] from humankind let them gather together all of them let them stand up let them be in dread let them be ashamed altogether.
Anih hui rhoek tah boeih yak uh pawn ni ke. Amih kah kutthai rhoek te hlang boeiloeih ni. Amih te boeih coi uh thae saeh lamtah pai uh saeh. A rhih uh vetih rhenten yak uh ni.
12 A craftsman of iron a tool and he works [it] on the coal[s] and with hammers he forms it and he worked it with [the] arm of strength his also he is hungry and there not [is] strength not he drinks water and he grew weary.
Kutthai loh thi tubael te hmaisa-aek neh a saii. Thilung neh a hlinsai tih a thadueng ban neh a saii. A lamlum vaengah thadueng bawt tih tui a ok pawt dongah tawnba.
13 A craftsman of wood he stretches out a measuring-line he outlines it with marker he works it with scraping tools and with compass he outlines it and he made it like [the] form of a man like [the] beauty of a man to dwell a house.
Kutthai loh thing te a rhi a nueh tih thisum neh a rhuen. Suet neh a yael tih cumkai neh a hiil. Te phoeiah im ah hol hamla hlang kah a muei la, hlang kah a boeimang la a saii.
14 To cut down for himself cedars and he took a cypress and an oak and he strengthened [it] for himself among [the] trees of [the] forest he plants laurel and rain it makes [it] grow.
Te ham te lamphai khaw a saii tih yongmai neh thingnu khaw a loh. Te ham te duup kah thing caang neh rhumrhet thing khaw a phung tih khonal neh a rhoeng sak.
15 And it belongs to anyone to burn and he took some of them and he became warm also he kindles a fire and he bakes bread also he makes a god and he bowed down he makes it an idol and he prostrated himself to it.
Hlang kah a toih ham khaw a om pah. Amah te a loh bal tih pahoi a om. A cum bal tih buh a thong nah. Pathen la nunan a saii tih a saii mueithuk te a bawk tih a buluk thil.
16 Half of it he burns in a fire over half of it meat he eats he roasts roasted meat so he may be satisfied also he is warm and he may say aha! I am warm I see a fire.
A ngancawn te hmai dongah a hoeh, a ngancawn dongah maeh a hai tih a caak. Maehkaeh te a hah vaengah kaeng uh tih, “Ahuei, hmaipuei ka hmuh tih ka om,” a ti.
17 And [the] remainder of it a god he makes idol his (he prostrates himself *Q(k)*) to it so he may bow down and he may pray to it so he may say deliver me for [are] god my you.
A meet te pathen la, a mueithuk la a saii. Te te a buluk, a buluk thil tih a bawk. A taengah thangthui tih, “Kai kah pathen namah loh kai n'huul lah,” a ti nah.
18 Not they know and not they understand for it is besmeared from seeing eyes their from having insight hearts their.
A mik loh a hmuh tih a lungbuei loh a cangbam ham khaw malh a bol coeng dongah ming uh pawt tih yakming pawh.
19 And not he brings to heart his and not knowledge and not understanding to say half of it I burned in a fire and also I baked on coals its bread I roasted meat so I may eat [it] and [the] remainder of it an abomination will I make? to a product of a tree will I prostrate myself?
A lungbuei khaw a taengla mael pah pawh. Mingnah khueh pawt tih a lungcuei khaw om pawh. “A ngancawn te hmai dongah ka hoeh tih a alh dongah buh ka thong. Maeh ka hai tih ka caak. A coih te khaw tueilaehkoi la ka saii saeh lamtah thingkung thinglong taengah ka buluk eh,” a ti.
20 [he is] feeding Ash[es] a heart [which] it is deceived it has turned aside him and not he will deliver self his and not he will say ¿ not [is] falsehood in right [hand] my.
Hmaiphu kah aka luem rhoek loh a lungbuei omsaa tih amah a phaelh sak. A hinglu te a huul thai pawt dongah, “Ka bantang ah aka om he a honghi moenih a?” a ti tloel.
21 Remember these [things] O Jacob and O Israel for [are] servant my you I formed you [are] a servant of me you O Israel not you will be forgotten by me.
He rhoek he Jakob neh Israel loh thoelh saeh. Nang tah kai kah sal ni. Nang te kamah taengah sal la ka hlinsai coeng. Nang Israel loh kai nan hnilh voel mahpawh.
22 I have wiped out like dark cloud transgressions your and like cloud sins your return! to me for I have redeemed you.
Na boekoek te khomai bangla, na tholh cingmai bangla ka huih sak. Nang te kan tlan coeng dongah kamah taengla ha mael laeh.
23 Shout for joy O heaven for he has acted Yahweh shout in triumph O lower parts of [the] earth break forth O mountains a shout of joy O forest and every tree in it for he has redeemed Yahweh Jacob and by Israel he will get glory for himself.
BOEIPA loh a saii coeng dongah vaan rhoek te tamhoe laeh. Diklai laedil rhoek khaw yuhui uh laeh. Tlang rhoek loh duup puei tamlung neh a khuikah thing rho boeih te rhong puei saeh. BOEIPA loh Jakob a tlan tih Israel soah khaw kohang coeng.
24 Thus he says Yahweh redeemer your and [the one who] formed you from [the] womb I [am] Yahweh [who] made everything [who] stretched out [the] heavens to alone me [who] spread out the earth (from with myself. *Q(K)*)
Nang aka tlan tih bungko khuiah nang aka hlinsai BOEIPA loh, “Kai Yahovah tah vaan aka aih uh ke boeih ka saii. Kamah bueng loh diklai tui ka nulh vaengah kai taengah aka om te unim.
25 [who] frustrates [the] signs of Empty talkers and diviners he makes look foolish [who] turns back wise [people] backwards and knowledge their he makes foolish.
Olsai kah miknoek te aka phae tih, aka hma kah a yan te a balkhong sak. Aka cueih rhoek te a namnah dongah, amamih kah mingnah loh a pavai sak.
26 [who] establishes [the] word of Servant his and [the] counsel of messengers his he performs who says of Jerusalem it will be inhabited and of [the] cities of Judah they will be rebuilt and ruins its I will raise up.
A sal kah ol a thoh tih a puencawn kah cilsuep te a thuung. Jerusalem kah aka thui te kho sak sak saeh lamtah Judah khopuei rhoek te khoeng uh saeh. Te vaengah a imrhong te ka thoh bitni.
27 Who says to the ocean-deep be dried up and rivers your I will make dry.
Tuidung te, “Kak laeh,” aka ti loh tuiva nang khaw kang haang sak ni.
28 Who says of Cyrus shepherd my and all desire my he will perform and to say of Jerusalem let it be rebuilt and [the] temple let it be refounded.
Cyrus te kamah kah boiva aka dawn ni ka ti. Ka hue ngaih boeih khaw han thuung ni. Jerusalem te khoeng saeh lamtah bawkim khaw suen saeh ka ti.
