Isaiah 37
1 And it was when heard the king Hezekiah and he tore clothes his and he covered himself with sackcloth and he went [the] house of Yahweh.

2 And he sent Eliakim who [was] over the house and - Shebna the scribe and [the] elders of the priests covered with sackcloth to Isaiah [the] son of Amoz the prophet.
Saray sorumlusu Elyakim'i, Yazman Şevna'yı ve ileri gelen kâhinleri Amots oğlu Peygamber Yeşaya'ya gönderdi. Hepsi çul kuşanmıştı.
3 And they said to him thus he says Hezekiah [is] a day of distress and rebuke and insult the day this for they have come children to birth and [is] strength there not for giving birth.
Yeşaya'ya şöyle dediler: “Hizkiya diyor ki, ‘Bugün sıkıntı, azar ve utanç günü. Çünkü çocukların doğum vakti geldi, ama doğuracak güç yok.
4 Perhaps he will hear Yahweh God your - [the] words of [the] chief commander whom he has sent him [the] king of Assyria - master his to taunt [the] God living and he will rebuke the words which he has heard Yahweh God your and you will lift up prayer for the remnant which is found.
Yaşayan Tanrı'yı aşağılamak için efendisi Asur Kralı'nın gönderdiği komutanın söylediklerini belki Tanrın RAB duyar da duyduğu sözlerden ötürü onları cezalandırır. Bu nedenle sağ kalanlarımız için dua et.’”
5 And they came [the] servants of the king Hezekiah to Isaiah.
Yeşaya, Kral Hizkiya'dan gelen görevlilere şöyle dedi: “Efendinize şunları söyleyin: ‘RAB diyor ki, Asur Kralı'nın adamlarından benimle ilgili duyduğunuz küfürlerden korkma.
6 And he said to them Isaiah thus you will say! to master your thus - he says Yahweh may not you be afraid of the words which you have heard which they have blasphemed [the] servants of [the] king of Assyria me.
7 Here I [am] about to put in him a spirit and he will hear a report and he will return to own land his and I will make fall him by the sword in own land his.
Onun içine öyle bir ruh koyacağım ki, bir haber üzerine kendi ülkesine dönecek. Orada onu kılıçla öldürteceğim.’”
8 And he returned [the] chief commander and he found [the] king of Assyria fighting on Libnah if he had heard that he had departed from Lachish.
Komutan, Asur Kralı'nın Lakiş'ten ayrılıp Livna'ya karşı savaştığını duydu. Krala danışmak için oraya gitti.
9 And he heard on Tirhakah [the] king of Cush saying he has come out to do battle with you and he heard and he sent messengers to Hezekiah saying.
Kûş Kralı Tirhaka'nın kendisiyle savaşmak üzere yola çıktığını haber alan Asur Kralı, Hizkiya'ya ulaklar göndererek şöyle dedi:
10 Thus you will say! to Hezekiah [the] king of Judah saying may not he deceive you God your whom you [are] trusting in him saying not it will be given Jerusalem in [the] hand of [the] king of Assyria.
“Yahuda Kralı Hizkiya'ya deyin ki, ‘Güvendiğin Tanrın, Yeruşalim Asur Kralı'nın eline teslim edilmeyecek diyerek seni aldatmasın.
11 Here! - you you have heard [that] which they have done [the] kings of Assyria to all the lands by totally destroying them and you will you be delivered?
Asur krallarının bütün ülkelere neler yaptığını, onları nasıl yerle bir ettiğini duymuşsundur. Sen kurtulacağını mı sanıyorsun?
12 ¿ Did they deliver them [the] gods of the nations which they destroyed ancestors my Gozan and Haran and Rezeph and [the] people of Eden who [were] in Telassar.
Atalarımın yok ettiği ulusları –Gozanlılar'ı, Harranlılar'ı, Resefliler'i, Telassar'da yaşayan Edenliler'i– ilahları kurtarabildi mi?
13 Where? [is] [the] king of Hamath and [the] king of Arpad and [the] king of Lair Sepharvaim Hena and Ivvah.
Hani nerede Hama ve Arpat kralları? Lair, Sefarvayim, Hena, İvva kralları nerede?’”
14 And he took Hezekiah the letters from [the] hand of the messengers and he read it and he went up [the] house of Yahweh and he spread out it Hezekiah before Yahweh.
Hizkiya mektubu ulakların elinden alıp okuduktan sonra RAB'bin Tapınağı'na çıktı. RAB'bin önünde mektubu yere yayarak
15 And he prayed Hezekiah to Yahweh saying.
şöyle dua etti:
16 O Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel [who] sits the cherubim you he [are] God to alone you of all [the] kingdoms of the earth you you have made the heavens and the earth.
“Ey Keruvlar arasında taht kuran İsrail'in Tanrısı, Her Şeye Egemen RAB, bütün dünya krallıklarının tek Tanrısı sensin. Yeri, göğü sen yarattın.
17 Incline O Yahweh - ear your and hear open O Yahweh eyes your and see and hear all [the] words of Sennacherib which he has sent to taunt [the] God living.
Ya RAB, kulak ver de işit, gözlerini aç da gör, ya RAB; Sanherib'in söylediklerini, yaşayan Tanrı'yı nasıl aşağıladığını duy.
18 Truly O Yahweh they have made desolate [the] kings of Assyria all the lands and land their.
Ya RAB, gerçek şu ki, Asur kralları bütün ulusları ve ülkelerini viraneye çevirdiler.
19 And they have put gods their in the fire for not [were] gods they that except [the] work of [the] hands of a person wood and stone and they destroyed them.
İlahlarını yakıp yok ettiler. Çünkü onlar tanrı değil, insan eliyle biçimlendirilmiş tahta ve taşlardı.
20 And now O Yahweh God our save us from hand his so they may know all [the] kingdoms of the earth that you [are] Yahweh to alone you.
Ya RAB Tanrımız, şimdi bizi Sanherib'in elinden kurtar ki, bütün dünya krallıkları senin tek RAB olduğunu anlasın.”
21 And he sent Isaiah [the] son of Amoz to Hezekiah saying thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel that you have prayed to me concerning Sennacherib [the] king of Assyria.
Bunun üzerine Amots oğlu Yeşaya, Hizkiya'ya şu haberi gönderdi: “İsrail'in Tanrısı RAB şöyle diyor: ‘Asur Kralı Sanherib'le ilgili olarak bana yalvardığın için diyorum ki, “‘Erden kız Siyon seni hor görüyor, Alay ediyor seninle. Yeruşalim kızı ardından alayla baş sallıyor.
22 This [is] the word which he has spoken Yahweh on him she has despised you she has mocked you [the] virgin of [the] daughter of Zion behind you a head she has shaken [the] daughter of Jerusalem.
23 Whom? have you taunted and have you blasphemed? and on whom? have you raised a voice and have you lifted up? height eyes your against [the] holy [one] of Israel.
Sen kimi aşağıladın, kime küfrettin? Kime sesini yükselttin? İsrail'in Kutsalı'na tepeden baktın!
24 By [the] hand of servants your you have taunted - [the] Lord and you have said with [the] abundance of chariotry my I I have gone up [the] height[s] of mountains [the] remotest parts of Lebanon so I may cut down [the] height of cedars its [the] choicest of pines its so I may come [to the] height of end its [the] forest of orchard its.
Uşakların aracılığıyla Rab'bi aşağıladın. Bir sürü savaş arabamla dağların tepesine, Lübnan'ın doruklarına çıktım, dedin. Yüksek sedir ağaçlarını, seçme çamlarını kestim, Lübnan'ın en uzak tepelerine, Gür ormanlarına ulaştım.
25 I I have dug and I have drunk water so I may dry up with [the] sole of feet my all [the] canals of Egypt.
Kuyular kazdım, sular içtim, Mısır'ın bütün ırmaklarını ayağımın tabanıyla kuruttum, dedin.
26 ¿ Not have you heard from distant [time] it I appointed from days of antiquity and I planned it now I have brought it and you are [about] to make desolate heaps ruined cities fortified.
“‘Bütün bunları çoktan yaptığımı, Çok önceden tasarladığımı duymadın mı? Surlu kentleri enkaz yığınlarına çevirmeni Şimdi ben gerçekleştirdim.
27 And inhabitants their [were] short of hand they were dismayed and they were ashamed they were [the] vegetation of [the] field and [the] greenery of vegetation grass of roofs and a field before standing grain.
O kentlerde yaşayanların kolu kanadı kırıldı. Yılgınlık ve utanç içindeydiler; Kır otuna, körpe filizlere, Damlarda büyümeden kavrulup giden ota döndüler.
28 And sitting down your and going out you and coming in you I know and raging you against me.
Senin oturuşunu, kalkışını, Ne zaman gidip geldiğini, Bana nasıl öfkelendiğini biliyorum.
29 Because raging you against me and arrogance your it has come up in ears my and I will put hook my in nose your and bridle my on lips your and I will turn back you by the way which you came by it.
Bana duyduğun öfkeden, Kulağıma erişen küstahlığından ötürü Halkamı burnuna, gemimi ağzına takacak, Seni geldiğin yoldan geri çevireceğim.
30 And this for you [will be] the sign you will eat this year self-sown grain and in the year second self-seeded plant[s] and in the year third sow and reap and plant vineyards (and eat *Q(K)*) fruit their.
“‘Senin için belirti şu olacak, ey Hizkiya: Bu yıl kendiliğinden yetişeni yiyeceksiniz, İkinci yıl ise ardından biteni. Üçüncü yıl ekip biçin, Bağlar dikip ürününü yiyin.
31 And it will add [the] escaped remnant of [the] house of Judah which remains a root downwards and it will produce fruit upwards.
Yahudalılar'ın kurtulup sağ kalanları Yine aşağıya doğru kök salacak, Yukarıya doğru meyve verecek.
32 For from Jerusalem it will go out a remnant and an escaped remnant from [the] mountain of Zion [the] zeal of Yahweh of hosts it will accomplish this.
Çünkü sağ kalanlar Yeruşalim'den, Kurtulanlar Siyon Dağı'ndan çıkacak. Her Şeye Egemen RAB'bin gayretiyle olacak bu.’
33 Therefore thus he says Yahweh concerning [the] king of Assyria not he will come into the city this and not he will shoot there an arrow and not he will confront it a shield and not he will pour out on it a mound.
“Bundan dolayı RAB Asur Kralı'na ilişkin şöyle diyor: ‘Bu kente girmeyecek, ok atmayacak. Kente kalkanla yaklaşmayacak, Karşısında rampa kurmayacak.
34 By the way which he came by it he will return and into the city this not he will come [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Geldiği yoldan dönecek ve kente girmeyecek’ diyor RAB,
35 And I will defend the city this to deliver it for own sake my and for [the] sake of David servant my.
‘Kendim için ve kulum Davut'un hatırı için Bu kenti savunup kurtaracağım’ diyor.”
36 And he went out - [the] angel of Yahweh and he struck down in [the] camp of Assyria one hundred and eighty and five thousand and they rose early in the morning and there! all of them [were] corpses dead.
RAB'bin meleği gidip Asur ordugahında yüz seksen beş bin kişiyi öldürdü. Ertesi sabah uyananlar salt cesetlerle karşılaştılar.
37 And he set out and he went and he returned Sennacherib [the] king of Assyria and he remained in Nineveh.
Bunun üzerine Asur Kralı Sanherib ordugahını bırakıp çekildi. Ninova'ya döndü ve orada kaldı.
38 And it was he [was] bowing down [the] house of - Nisroch god his and Adrammelech and Sharezer sons his they struck down him with the sword and they they escaped [the] land of Ararat and he reigned Esar-haddon son his in place his.
Bir gün ilahı Nisrok'un tapınağında tapınırken, oğullarından Adrammelek'le Şareser, onu kılıçla öldürüp Ararat ülkesine kaçtılar. Yerine oğlu Esarhaddon kral oldu.
