Isaiah 36
1 And it was in four-teen year of the king Hezekiah he went up Sennacherib [the] king of Assyria on all [the] cities of Judah fortified and he seized them.
Iti maikasangapulo ket uppat a tawen ni Ari Ezekias, rinaut ni Sennakerib nga ari ti Asiria ti am-amin a nasarikedkedan a siudad ti Juda ket sinakupna dagitoy.
2 And he sent [the] king of Assyria - [the] chief commander from Lachish Jerusalem towards to the king Hezekiah with an army massive and he stood at [the] conduit of the pool upper on [the] highway of [the] field of [the] washer.
Kalpasanna, imbaon ti ari ti Asiria ti panguloen a mangidadaulo manipud iti Lakis a mapan kenni Ari Ezekias iti Jerusalem a kaduana ti adu nga armada. Inasitganna ti pagay-ayusan ti akinngato a pagur-urnongan iti danum, iti kalsada nga agturong iti tanap dagiti aglablaba, ket nagtakder iti abay daytoy.
3 And he went out to him Eliakim [the] son of Hilkiah who [was] over the house and Shebna the scribe and Joah [the] son of Asaph the recorder.
Dagiti opisial nga Israelita a rimmuar iti siudad tapno makisarita kadakuada ket ni Eliakim nga anak a lalaki ni Hilkias a mangay-aywan iti palasio, ni Sebna a sekretario ti ari, ken ni Joa a putot a lalaki ni Asaf ken mangisursurat kadagiti pangngeddeng ti gobierno.
4 And he said to them [the] chief commander say please to Hezekiah thus he says the king great [the] king of Assyria what? [is] the trust this which you trust.
Kinuna kadakuada ti panguloen a mangidadaulo, “Ibagayo kenni Ezekias a kastoy ti kuna ti natan-ok nga ari, ti ari ti Asiria, “Ania ti pagtataudan ti panagtalekmo?
5 I say only a word of lips [are] a plan and strength for war now on whom? do you rely that you have rebelled against me.
Ti ibagbagam ket sasao laeng nga awan serserbina, ibagbagam nga adda ti balakad ken pigsa a makigubat. Ita, siasino ti pagtaltalkam? Siasino ti nangted kenka iti tured a bumusor kaniak?
6 Here! you rely on [the] staff of reed crushed this on Egypt which he will support himself anyone on it and it will go in palm his and it will pierce it [is] thus Pharaoh [the] king of Egypt to all those [who] rely on him.
Kitaem, agtaltalekka iti Egipto, iti dayta a naparpar a runo nga us-usarem a kas sarukod, ngem no pagsammakedan daytoy ti maysa a tao, maitudok daytoy iti imana ket salputen daytoy ti imana. Kasta ti kaiyarigan ni Faraon nga ari ti Egipto iti siasinoman nga agtaltalek kenkuana.
7 And if you will say to me to Yahweh God our we trust ¿ not [is] he [the one] whom he has removed Hezekiah high places his and altars his and he has said to Judah and to Jerusalem before the altar this you will bow down.
Ngem no kunaem kaniak, “Agtaltalekkami kenni Yahweh a Diosmi,” saan kadi nga isuna ti akinkukua kadagiti disso a pagdaydayawan ken kadagiti altar nga inikkat ni Ezekias, ken ti nangibaga iti Juda ken Jerusalem, “Masapul nga agdayawkayo iti sangoanan daytoy nga altar iti Jerusalem”?
8 And now make a wager please with master my the king of Assyria so let me give to you two thousand horses if you will be able to put for yourself riders on them.
Ita ngarud, adda isingasingko kenka manipud iti apok nga ari ti Asiria. Ikkanka iti dua a ribu a kabalio no makabirokka kadagiti agsakay kadagitoy.
9 And how? will you turn back [the] face of [the] governor one of [the] servants of master my little and you have been relying yourself on Egypt for chariotry and for horsemen.
Kasanom a sarangten ti uray maysa a kapitan dagiti kababassitan kadagiti adipen ti apok? Nagtalekka iti Egipto nga ikkannaka kadagiti karwahe ken kadagiti kumakabalio!
10 And now ¿ without Yahweh have I come up on the land this to destroy it Yahweh he said to me go up to the land this and destroy it.
Ita ngarud, simmang-atak kadi ditoy a saanko a kadua ni Yahweh a manggubat iti daytoy a daga ken mangdadael iti daytoy? Kinuna ni Yahweh kaniak, “Rautem daytoy a daga ket dadaelem.””
11 And he said Eliakim and Shebna and Joah to [the] chief commander speak please to servants your Aramaic for [are] understanding we and may not you speak to us [in] Judean in [the] ears of the people which [is] on the city wall.
Kalpasanna, kinuna ni Eliakim a putot a lalaki ni Hilkias, da Sebna ken Joa iti panguloen a mangidadaulo, “Pangngaasim ta agsaoka kadakami nga adipenmo iti pagsasao ti Arameo nga Aramaic, ta maawatanmi daytoy. Saanka a makisarita kadakami iti pagsasao ti Juda a mangmangngeg dagiti tattao nga adda iti rabaw ti pader.”
12 And he said [the] chief commander ¿ to master your and to you has he sent me master my to speak the words these ¿ not to the people who sit on the city wall to eat (own excrement their *Q(K)*) and to drink ([the] water of feet their *Q(K)*) with you.
Ngem kinuna ti panguloen a mangidadaulo, “Imbaonnak kadi ti apok iti apoyo ken kadakayo tapno ibaga dagitoy a sasao? Saan kadi nga imbaonnak kadagiti tattao nga agtugtugaw iti rabaw ti pader, a kadduayonto a mangan kadagiti takkida ken uminom kadagiti isboda?
13 And he stood [the] chief commander and he called out with a voice great [in] Judean and he said hear [the] words of the king great [the] king of Assyria.
Ket nagtakder ti panguloen a mangidadaulo ket impukkawna iti pagsasao dagiti Judio a kunana, “Denggenyo dagiti sasao ti natan-ok nga ari, ti ari ti Asiria.
14 Thus he says the king may not he deceive you Hezekiah for not he will be able to deliver you.
Kuna ti ari, 'Saanyo nga ipalubos nga allilawennakayo ni Ezekias, ta saannakayonto a maispal.
15 And may not he make trust you Hezekiah to Yahweh saying certainly he will deliver us Yahweh not it will be given the city this in [the] hand of [the] king of Assyria.
Saanyo nga ipalubos a pagtalkennakayo kenni Yahweh, a kunana, “Awan duadua nga ispalennatayonto ni Yahweh; saan a maiyawat daytoy a siudad iti ari ti Asiria.”'
16 May not you listen to Hezekiah. For thus he says the king of Assyria make with me a blessing and come out to me and eat everyone own vine his and everyone own fig tree his and drink everyone [the] water of own cistern his.
Saanyo a denggen ni Ezekias, ta kastoy ti kuna ti ari ti Asiria: 'Makikappiakayo kaniak ket rummuarkayo a mapan kaniak. Ket ti tunggal maysa kadakayo ket mangan iti bukodna nga ubas ken iti bukodna nga igos ken uminum iti danum manipud iti bukodna a bubon.
17 Until come I and I will take you to a land like own land your a land of grain and new wine a land of bread and vineyards.
Aramidenyo daytoy agingga nga umayak ket ipankayo iti maysa a daga a kas iti bukodyo a daga, daga iti bukbukel ken baro nga arak, daga iti tinapay ken kaubasan.’
18 Lest he should mislead you Hezekiah saying Yahweh he will deliver us ¿ have they delivered [the] gods of the nations anyone land its from [the] hand of [the] king of Assyria.
Saanyo nga ipalubos nga iyaw-awannakayo ni Ezekias, a kunana, ‘Ispalennatayonto ni Yahweh.' Adda kadi ti uray siasino kadagiti dios dagiti tattao ti nangispal kadakuada manipud iti pannakabalin ti ari ti Asiria?
19 Where? [were] [the] gods of Hamath and Arpad where? [were] [the] gods of Sepharvaim and if they have delivered Samaria from hand my.
Sadino ti ayan dagiti dios ti Hamat ken Arpad? Sadino ti ayan dagiti dios ti Sefarvaim? Naispalda kadi ti Samaria manipud iti pannakabalinko?
20 Who? among all [the] gods of the lands these [are those] which they have delivered land their from hand my that he will deliver Yahweh Jerusalem from hand my.
Kadagiti amin a dios dagitoy a daga, adda kadi ti uray siasino a dios a nakaispal iti dagana manipud iti pannakabalinko, a kasla maisalakan met ni Yahweh ti Jerusalem manipud iti bilegko?”
21 And they kept silent and not they answered him anything for [was] [the] commandment of the king it saying not you must answer him.
Ngem nagtalinaed a naulimek dagiti tattao ket saanda a simmungbat, ta ti bilin ti ari ket, “Saanyo a sungsungbatan isuna.”
22 And he went Eliakim [the] son of Hilkiah who [was] over the house and Shebna the scribe and Joah [the] son of Asaph the recorder to Hezekiah torn of garments and they told to him [the] words of [the] chief commander.
Kalpasanna, ni Eliakim a putot ni Hilkias, a mangimatmaton iti palasio, ni Sebna nga eskriba, ken ni Joa a putot ni Asaf, nga agisursurat, napanda kenni Ezekias a naray-ab dagiti kawesda ket imbagada kenkuana dagiti sasao ti panguloen a mangidadaulo.
