Isaiah 32
1 There! for righteousness he will reign a king and to rulers for justice they will rule.
Ziet, een koning zal regeren in gerechtigheid, en de vorsten zullen heersen naar recht.
2 And he will be each like a hiding place of a wind and a shelter of a rainstorm like streams of water in a dry land like [the] shadow of a rock heavy in a land weary.
En die man zal zijn als een verberging tegen den wind, en een schuilplaats tegen den vloed, als waterbeken in een dorre plaats, als de schaduw van een zwaren rotssteen in een dorstig land.
3 And not they will gaze [the] eyes of [those who] see and [the] ears of [those who] hear they will pay attention.
En de ogen dergenen, die zien, zullen niet terugzien, en de oren dergenen, die horen, zullen opmerken.
4 And [the] heart of hasty [people] it will understand knowledge and [the] tongue of stammerers it will hasten to speak clearly.
En het hart der onbedachtzamen zal de wetenschap verstaan, en de tong der stamelenden zal vaardig zijn, om bescheidenlijk te spreken.
5 Not it will be called again to a fool noble and of a scoundrel not it will be said eminent person.
De dwaas zal niet meer genoemd worden milddadig, en de gierige zal niet meer mild geheten worden.
6 For a fool folly he speaks and heart his it does wickedness by doing godlessness and by speaking concerning Yahweh error by keeping empty [the] appetite of [the] hungry and drink [the] thirsty he deprives.
Want een dwaas spreekt dwaasheid, en zijn hart doet ongerechtigheid, om huichelarij te plegen, en om dwaling te spreken tegen den HEERE, om de ziel des hongerigen ledig te laten, en den dorstige drank te doen ontbreken.
7 And a scoundrel weapons his [are] evil he evil purposes he plans to ruin (afflicted [people] *Q(K)*) with words of falsehood and when speaks [the] needy justice.
En eens gierigaards ganse gereedschap is kwaad; hij beraadslaagt schandelijke verdichtselen, om de ellendigen te bederven met valse redenen, en het recht, als de arme spreekt.
8 And a noble [person] noble deeds he plans and he on noble deeds he stands.
Maar een milddadige beraadslaagt milddadigheden, en staat op milddadigheden.
9 O women carefree arise hear voice my O daughters confident give ear to utterance my.
Staat op, gij geruste vrouwen, hoort mijn stem; gij dochters, die zo zeker zijt, neemt mijn redenen ter ore.
10 Days with a year you will be agitated O confident [women] for it will fail [the] grape harvest [the] gathering not it will come.
Vele dagen over het jaar zult gij beroerd zijn, gij dochters, die zo zeker zijt, want de wijnoogst zal uit zijn, er zal geen inzameling komen.
11 Tremble O carefree [women] be agitated O confident [women] strip off and strip yourself and gird on loins.
Beeft, gij geruste vrouwen; weest beroerd, dochters, die zo zeker zijt; trekt u uit, en ontbloot u, en gordt zakken om uw lendenen.
12 On breasts mourning on fields of delight on vine[s] fruitful.
Men zal rouwklagen over de borsten, over de gewenste akkers, over de vruchtbare wijnstokken.
13 On [the] land of people my thornbush[es] thorn[s] it will grow up for on all [the] houses of joy a town jubilant.
Op het land mijns volks zal de doorn en de distel opgaan; ja, op alle vreugdehuizen, in de vrolijk huppelende stad.
14 For [the] palace it will be forsaken [the] tumult of [the] city it will be abandoned [the] hill and [the] watchtower it will become behind caves until perpetuity a joy of wild donkeys a pasture of flocks.
Want het paleis zal verlaten zijn, het gewoel der stad zal ophouden; Ofel en de wachttorens zullen tot spelonken zijn, tot in der eeuwigheid, een vreugde der woudezelen, een weide der kudden.
15 Until it will be poured out on us spirit from a high place and it will become [the] wilderness orchard (and the orchard *Q(K)*) to forest it will be considered.
Totdat over ons uitgegoten worde de Geest uit de hoogte; dan zal de woestijn tot een vruchtbaar veld worden, en het vruchtbare veld zal voor een woud geacht worden.
16 And it will dwell in the wilderness justice and righteousness in the orchard it will remain.
En het recht zal in de woestijn wonen, en de gerechtigheid zal op het vruchtbare veld verblijven.
17 And it will be [the] work of righteousness peace and [the] labor of righteousness [will be] quietness and security until perpetuity.
En het werk der gerechtigheid zal vrede zijn; en de werking der gerechtigheid zal zijn gerustheid en zekerheid tot in eeuwigheid.
18 And it will dwell people my in a habitation of peace and in dwelling places of security and in resting places undisturbed.
En mijn volk zal in een woonplaats des vredes wonen, en in welverzekerde woningen, en in stille geruste plaatsen.
19 And it will hail when comes down the forest and with lowness it will become low the city.
Maar het zal hagelen, waar men afgaat in het woud, en de stad zal laag worden in de laagte.
20 How blessed [are]! you O [those who] sow at every water O [those who] let loose [the] foot of the ox and the donkey.
Welgelukzalig zijt gijlieden, die aan alle wateren zaait; gij, die den voet des osses en des ezels derwaarts henenzendt!
