Isaiah 30
1 Woe to! children [who are] rebellious [the] utterance of Yahweh by making a plan and not from me and by pouring out a libation and not spirit my so as to add sin to sin.
Malheur à vous, fils déserteurs, dit le Seigneur, de ce que vous formez des desseins, et non par moi, et que vous ourdissez une trame, et non par mon esprit, afin d’ajouter péché à péché;
2 Who go to go down Egypt and mouth my not they have consulted to take refuge in [the] refuge of Pharaoh and to seek refuge in [the] shadow of Egypt.
Vous qui marchez pour descendre en Egypte, et n’avez pas interrogé ma bouche, espérant du secours de la force de Pharaon, et ayant confiance dans l’ombre de l’Egypte.
3 And it will become for you [the] refuge of Pharaoh shame and the refuge in [the] shadow of Egypt ignominy.
Et la force de Pharaon vous sera à confusion, et la confiance dans l’ombre de l’Egypte, à ignominie.
4 For they have been in Zoan officials its and messengers its Hanes they have reached.
Car tes princes étaient à Tanis, et tes messagers sont parvenus jusqu’à Hanès.
5 Everyone (he will be ashamed *Q(K)*) on a people [which] not they will confer profit to them not for help and not to confer profit for for shame and also for reproach.
Tous ont été confondus à la vue d’un peuple qui ne pouvait leur être utile; ils ne leur ont pas été à secours et à quelque utilité, mais à confusion et à opprobre.
6 [the] oracle of [the] animals of [the] Negev In a land of trouble and distress lioness and lion from them viper and serpent flying they carry on [the] shoulder of donkeys wealth their and on [the] hump of camels treasures their to a people [which] not they will confer profit.
Malheur accablant des bêtes du Midi. Elles vont dans une terre de tribulation et d’angoisse, d’où sortent la lionne et le lion, la vipère et le basilic volant; ils portent sur les épaules des ânes leurs richesses, et sur la bosse des chameaux leurs trésors, à un peuple qui ne pourra pas leur être utile.
7 And Egypt futility and vanity they will help therefore I call this [one] Rahab they a sitting still.
Car inutilement et vainement l’Egypte les secourra; voilà pourquoi j’ai crié à ce sujet: C’est de l’orgueil seulement, reste en repos.
8 Now go write it on a tablet with them and on a scroll inscribe it so may it be for a day future for ever until perpetuity.
Maintenant donc entre, écris cela pour lui sur le buis, et dans un livre grave-le soigneusement, et il sera au dernier jour un témoignage à jamais;
9 For [is] a people of rebellion it children lying children [who] not they have been willing to hear [the] law of Yahweh.
Car c’est un peuple provoquant au courroux, et ce sont des fils menteurs, des fils qui ne veulent pas entendre la loi de Dieu;
10 Who they have said to the seers not you must see and to the seers not you must see for us straightforwardness speak to us flattering [words] see deception.
Qui disent à ceux qui voient: Ne voyez pas; et à ceux qui regardent: Ne regardez pas pour nous des choses qui sont justes; dites-nous des choses qui nous plaisent, voyez pour nous des erreurs.
11 Turn away from [the] way turn aside from [the] path cause to cease from before us [the] holy [one] of Israel.
Eloignez de moi cette voie, détournez de moi ce sentier; qu’il disparaisse de notre face, le saint d’Israël.
12 Therefore thus he says [the] holy [one] of Israel because have rejected you the word this and you have trusted in oppression and a crooked [thing] and you have depended on it.
À cause de cela, voici ce que dit le saint d’Israël: Parce que vous avez rejeté cette parole, et que vous avez espéré dans la calomnie et dans le tumulte, et que vous y avez mis votre appui,
13 Therefore it will become for you the iniquity this like a breach about to fall bulging in a wall high which suddenly to suddenness it will come breaking its.
À cause de cela, cette iniquité sera pour vous comme une brèche qui menace ruine, et qui est recherchée dans un mur élevé, parce que tout à coup, tandis qu’on ne s’y attend pas, vient son écroulement.
14 And someone will break it like [the] breaking of a jar of potters crushed [which] not anyone will spare and not it will be found among fragment[s] its a potsherd to snatch up fire from a fireplace and to scoop water from a cistern.
Et elle sera mise en pièces, comme on brise d’un brisement très fort un vase de potier; et on ne trouvera pas parmi ses fragments un têt dans lequel on puisse porter un peu de feu pris d’une incendie, ou puiser un peu d’eau à une fosse,
15 For thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh [the] holy [one] of Israel in returning and rest you will be delivered! in being quiet and in trusting it will be strength your and not you were willing.
Parce que voici ce que dit le Seigneur Dieu, le saint d’Israël: Si vous revenez, et vous vous tenez en repos, vous serez sauvés; dans le silence et dans l’espérance sera votre force. Et vous n’avez pas voulu;
16 And you said In-deed on horse[s] we will flee there-fore you will flee! and on swift [horse][s] we will ride there-fore they will prove swift [those who] pursue you.
Et vous avez dit: Pas du tout; mais nous fuirons vers des chevaux; c’est pour cela que vous fuirez. Et nous monterons sur de rapides coursiers; c’est pour cela que plus rapides seront ceux qui vous poursuivront.
17 A thousand one because of [the] threat of one because of [the] threat of five you will flee until you have been left like flagstaff on [the] top of mountain and like standard on hill.
Vous fuirez an nombre de mille hommes par la terreur d’un seul, et tous par la terreur de cinq, jusqu’à ce que vous soyez laissés comme un mât de vaisseau sur une cime de montagne, et comme un étendard sur une colline.
18 And therefore he is waiting Yahweh to show favor to you and therefore he is rising up to have compassion on you for [is] a God of justice Yahweh how blessed! [are] all [those who] wait for him.
À cause de cela, le Seigneur attend, afin d’avoir pitié de vous; et pour cela il sera exalté en vous épargnant; car c’est un Dieu de justice que le Seigneur; bienheureux tous ceux qui l’attendent.
19 For a people in Zion it will dwell in Jerusalem certainly not you will weep certainly he will show favor to you to [the] sound of crying out you when hears he he will answer you.
Car le peuple de Sion habitera dans Jérusalem; pleurant tu ne pleureras pas du tout; ayant pitié il aura pitié de toi; à la voix de ton cri, dès qu’il entendra, il te répondra.
20 And he will give to you [the] Lord bread distress and water oppression and not he will hide himself again teachers your and they will be eyes your seeing teachers your.
Et le Seigneur vous donnera un pain restreint et une eau peu abondante; et il ne fera pas que celui qui t’instruit s’en aille loin de toi; et tes yeux verront ton maître.
21 And ears your they will hear a word from behind you saying this [is] the way walk in it that you will go to [the] right and that you will go to [the] left.
Et tes oreilles entendront la voix de celui qui, derrière toi, t’avertira: Voici la voie, marchez-y; et ne vous détournez ni à droite ni à gauche,
22 And you will make unclean [the] plating of [the] images of silver your and [the] sheathing of [the] molten image of gold your you will throw away them like a menstrual [rag] filth you will say to it.
Et tu regarderas comme choses souillées les lames d’argent de tes images taillées au ciseau, et le vêtement de ta statue d’or jetée en fonte, et tu les rejetteras comme un linge souillé. Sors, lui diras-tu;
23 And he will give [the] rain of seed your which you will sow the ground and [will be] food [the] produce of the ground and it will be fat and fat it will graze livestock your in the day that pasture roomy.
Et la pluie sera accordée à ta semence, partout où tu auras semé sur la terre, et le pain produit des grains de la terre sera très abondant et gras; dans ta possession, en ce jour-là, l’agneau paîtra spacieusement.
24 And the cattle and the donkeys [which] work the ground fodder salted they will eat which [someone has been] winnowing with the shovel and with the pitchfork.
Et les taureaux et les petits des ânes qui labourent la terre, mangeront les grains mêlés ensemble, comme dans l’aire ils auront été vannés.
25 And it will be - on every mountain high and on every hill lifted up streams watercourses of water in a day of slaughter great when fall towers.
Et il y aura sur toute haute montagne et sur toute colline élevée, des ruisseaux d’eaux courantes, au jour où beaucoup auront été tués, et lorsque seront tombées les tours.
26 And it will be [the] light of the moon like [the] light of the sun and [the] light of the sun it will be sevenfold like [the] light of seven days on [the] day binds up Yahweh [the] fracture of people his and [the] wound of blow his he will heal.
Et sera la lumière de la lune comme la lumière du soleil, et la lumière du soleil sera septuplée, égale à la lumière de sept jours, au jour où le Seigneur aura lié la blessure de son peuple et guéri le coup de sa plaie.
27 There! [the] name of Yahweh [is] coming from a distance [is] burning anger his and [is] heaviness of lifting up lips his they are full indignation and tongue his [is] like a fire consuming.
Voici que le nom du Seigneur vient de loin; ardente est sa fureur, et lourde à porter; ses lèvres sont pleines d’indignation, sa langue est comme un feu dévorant.
28 And breath his [is] like a torrent overflowing to [the] neck it reaches for shaking nations in a sieve of worthlessness and a halter [which] leads astray [is] on [the] jaws of peoples.
Son souffle est un torrent débordé, qui atteint jusqu’au milieu du cou, pour réduire des nations au néant, et briser le frein d’erreur qui était aux mâchoires des peuples.
29 Song it will belong to you like a night of being consecrated of a festival and gladness of heart like [one who] walks with flute to go on [the] mountain of Yahweh to [the] rock of Israel.
Vous chanterez comme dans la nuit d’une sainte solennité, et la joie de votre cœur sera comme la joie de celui qui va avec la flûte, afin de se présenter sur la montagne du Seigneur, au fort d’Israël.
30 And he will cause to hear Yahweh [the] majesty of voice his and [the] lowering of arm his he will show with rage of anger and a flame of fire consuming a driving storm and a rainstorm and stone[s] of hail.
Et le Seigneur fera entendre la majesté de sa voix, et il montrera la terreur de son bras dans une menace de fureur, et dans la flamme d’un feu dévorant; il brisera par un tourbillon et par des pierres de grêle.
31 For from [the] voice of Yahweh it will be shattered Assyria with the rod he will strike.
Car à la voix du Seigneur Assur tremblera d’effroi, frappé de sa verge.
32 And it will be every blow of [the] staff of appointment which he will place Yahweh on it [will be] with tambourines and with harps and with battles of brandishing he will fight (against them. *Q(K)*)
Et le passage de la verge sera affermi; le Seigneur la fera reposer sur lui au milieu des tambours et des harpes, et dans des guerres considérables il les vaincra.
33 For [is] arranged from yesterday a place of burning also (it *Q(K)*) for the king it has been prepared someone has made [it] deep someone has made [it] large wood pile its [is] fire and wood much [the] breath of Yahweh like a torrent of sulfur [is] about to burn it.
Car Topheth est préparée depuis hier, par le roi préparée, profonde et étendue. Ses aliments sont du feu et beaucoup de bois; le souffle du Seigneur comme un torrent de soufre l’embrase.
