Isaiah 27
1 In the day that he will visit [judgment] Yahweh with sword his fierce and great and mighty on Leviathan a snake fleeing and on Leviathan a snake twisting and he will slay the sea monster which [is] in the sea.
En ce jour, l’Eternel châtiera de sa forte, grande et puissante épée le léviathan, serpent droit comme une barre, et le léviathan, serpent aux replis tortueux; il fera périr aussi le monstre qui habite la mer.
2 In the day that a vineyard of (delight *LB(AH)*) sing of it.
En ce jour, entonnez à son intention le chant de la Vigne de délices:
3 I Yahweh [am] keeper its to moments I water it lest someone should injure it night and day I guard it.
Moi, l’Eternel, je suis son gardien, à toute heure je l’arrose. Pour que nul ne la maltraite, nuit et jour je la surveille.
4 Rage not [belongs] to me who? will he give me thorn[s] bush[es] in battle I will march against it I will burn it altogether.
De ressentiment, il n’y en a point chez moi; dussé-je en avoir, contre les ronces et les épines je marcherais en combattant, et d’un coup y mettrais le feu.
5 Or let anyone take hold on protection my let anyone make peace to me peace let anyone make to me.
Mais plutôt qu’on s’attache à ma protection, qu’on fasse la paix avec moi, qu’avec moi on fasse la paix!
6 The coming [times] it will take root Jacob it will blossom and it will bud Israel and they will fill [the] surface of [the] world fruit.
Aux temps futurs, Jacob étendra ses racines, Israël donnera des bourgeons et des fleurs, et ils couvriront de fruits la surface du globe.
7 ¿ Like [the] striking? of [the] [one who] struck it has he struck it or? like [the] slaughter of slain [ones] its has it been slain.
Dieu les a-t-il frappés comme il frappa leurs agresseurs? Ont-ils péri comme périrent les victimes atteintes par lui?
8 (By startling *L(abh)*) by sending away it you will conduct a case with it he drove out by wind his fierce in [the] day of [the] east wind.
C’Est avec modération que tu as puni ce peuple en le congédiant, alors qu’au jour de la tempête tu as fait souffler un vent puissant.
9 Therefore by this it will be atoned for [the] iniquity of Jacob and this [is] all [the] fruit of [the] removing of sin its when makes he - all [the] stones of [the] altar like stones of chalk pulverized not they will stand Asherah poles and incense altars.
Or, voici comment sera effacée l’iniquité de Jacob et à quel prix disparaîtra sa faute: qu’il réduise en poussière toutes les pierres des autels comme de vils plâtras, que statues d’Astarté, statues du soleil tombent sans retour!
10 For a city fortified [is] alone a habitation [is] deserted and forsaken like the wilderness there it will graze a calf and there it will lie down and it will bring to an end branches its.
Mais cette ville si forte sera une solitude, cette résidence sera vide et abandonnée comme une plaine sauvage: la génisse y viendra paître, elle s’y couchera, elle en broutera les jeunes pousses.
11 When dry up branch[es] its they are broken off women [are] coming [are] setting light to it for not [is] a people of understanding it there-fore not he will have compassion on it [the] [one who] made it and [the] [one who] formed it not he will show favor to it.
Le branchage, une fois devenu sec, sera brisé, et des femmes viendront y mettre le feu parce que c’est un peuple inintelligent; aussi son Auteur sera pour lui sans clémence, et son Créateur ne lui fera point grâce.
12 And it will be in the day that he will beat out Yahweh from [the] flowing stream of the River to [the] wadi of Egypt and you you will be gathered to one one O people of Israel.
Il arrivera en ce jour que l’Eternel fera un abatis de fruits, depuis les flots de l’Euphrate jusqu’au torrent d’Egypte; mais vous, enfants d’Israël, vous serez recueillis un à un.
13 And it will be - in the day that it will be blown on a trumpet great and they will come those [who] were lost in [the] land of Assyria and the outcasts in [the] land of Egypt and they will bow down to Yahweh on [the] mountain of holiness in Jerusalem.
En ce jour résonnera la grande trompette; alors arriveront ceux qui étaient perdus dans le pays d’Achour, relégués dans la terre d’Egypte, et ils se prosterneront devant l’Eternel, sur la montagne sainte, à Jérusalem.
