Isaiah 25
1 O Yahweh [are] God my you I will exalt you I will give thanks to name your for you have done wonder[s] plans from distant [time] faithfulness faithfulness.
HERRE, du är min Gud; jag vill upphöja dig, jag vill prisa ditt namn, ty du gör underfulla ting, du utför rådslut ifrån fordom tid, fasta och beståndande.
2 For you have made from a city into heap a town fortified into a ruin a fortress of strangers from a city for ever not it will be rebuilt.
Ja, du har gjort staden till en stenhop, den befästa staden till en grushög; främlingarnas palats står ej mer där såsom en stad, aldrig skall det byggas upp igen.
3 There-fore they will honor you a people strong a town of nations ruthless they will fear you.
Därför måste nu det vilda folket ära dig, den grymma hednastaden frukta dig.
4 For you have been a refuge for the poor [person] a refuge for the needy [person] when it was distress to him a shelter from rainstorm a shade from heat for [the] breath of ruthless [people] [is] like a rainstorm of a wall.
Ty du har varit ett värn för den arme, ett värn för den fattige i hans nöd, en tillflykt mot störtskurar, ett skygd under hettan. Ty våldsverkarnas raseri är likasom en störtskur mot en vägg.
5 Like heat in a dry land [the] uproar of strangers you will subdue heat in [the] shade of a cloud [the] song of ruthless [people] he will quieten.
Och såsom du kuvar hettan, när det är som torrast, så kuvar du främlingarnas larm; ja, såsom hettan dämpas genom molnens skugga, så dämpas de grymmas segersång.
6 And he will make Yahweh of hosts for all the peoples on the mountain this a feast of fat things a feast of old wine fat things full of marrow old wine refined.
Och HERREN Sebaot skall på detta berg göra ett gästabud för alla folk, ett gästabud med feta rätter, ett gästabud med starkt vin, ja, med feta, märgfulla rätter, med starkt vin, väl klarat.
7 And he will swallow up on the mountain this [the] surface of the covering - which covers over all the peoples and the woven stuff which is woven over all the nations.
Och han skall på detta berg göra om intet det dok som höljer alla folk, och det täckelse som betäcker alla folkslag.
8 He will swallow up death to perpetuity and he will wipe away [the] Lord Yahweh tear[s] from on every face and [the] reproach of people his he will remove from on all the earth for Yahweh he has spoken.
Han skall för alltid göra döden om intet; och Herren, HERREN skall avtorka tårarna från alla ansikten, och skall taga bort sitt folks smälek överallt på jorden. Ty så har HERREN talat.
9 And someone will say in the day that here! [is] God our this we have waited for him and he will save us this [is] Yahweh we have waited for him let us be glad and let us rejoice in salvation his.
På den tiden skall man säga: Se, där är vår Gud, som vi förbidade och som skulle frälsa oss. Ja, där är HERREN, som vi förbidade; låtom oss fröjdas och vara glada över hans frälsning.
10 For it will rest [the] hand of Yahweh on the mountain this and it will be trampled down Moab in place its as is trampled down a heap of straw (in *Q(K)*) a dung hill.
Ty HERRENS hand skall vila över detta berg, men Moab skall bliva nedtrampad i sitt eget land, likasom strå trampas ned i gödselpölen.
11 And it will spread out hands its in midst its just as he spreads [them] out swimmer to swim and he will bring low haughtiness its with [the] tricks of hands its.
Och huru han än där breder ut sina händer, lik simmaren, när han simmar, så skall dock hans högmod bliva nedbrutet, trots hans händers alla konster.
12 And [the] fortification of [the] refuge of walls your he will lay low he will bring [it] low he will make [it] touch the ground to [the] dust.
Ja, dina murars höga fäste störtar han omkull och ödmjukar, han slår det till jorden, ned i stoftet.
