Isaiah 25
1 O Yahweh [are] God my you I will exalt you I will give thanks to name your for you have done wonder[s] plans from distant [time] faithfulness faithfulness.
Señor, tú eres mi Dios. Te honraré y alabaré quien eres, porque has hecho cosas maravillosas que planificaste hace tiempo. Eres fiel y digno de confianza.
2 For you have made from a city into heap a town fortified into a ruin a fortress of strangers from a city for ever not it will be rebuilt.
Has convertido la ciudad en un montón de escombros; la ciudad fortificada es ahora una ruina; el palacio de los extranjeros ha desaparecido. Ya no es una ciudad y nunca será reconstruida.
3 There-fore they will honor you a people strong a town of nations ruthless they will fear you.
Por eso las naciones poderosas te honrarán; ciudades de naciones brutales te temerán.
4 For you have been a refuge for the poor [person] a refuge for the needy [person] when it was distress to him a shelter from rainstorm a shade from heat for [the] breath of ruthless [people] [is] like a rainstorm of a wall.
Pero tú has protegido a los pobres y a los necesitados cuando estaban en apuros, los has protegido de las tormentas y les has dado sombra del calor. Porque las acciones de los pueblos brutales son como la lluvia que golpea contra un muro,
5 Like heat in a dry land [the] uproar of strangers you will subdue heat in [the] shade of a cloud [the] song of ruthless [people] he will quieten.
como el calor en un desierto. Tú pones fin a la ruidosa sublevación de los extranjeros. De la misma manera que la sombra de una nube enfría el calor del día, así se acalla el canto de la gente brutal.
6 And he will make Yahweh of hosts for all the peoples on the mountain this a feast of fat things a feast of old wine fat things full of marrow old wine refined.
En esta montaña el Señor Todopoderoso preparará un festín para todas las naciones, un festín fastuoso de vinos añejos, comida rica y la mejor carne.
7 And he will swallow up on the mountain this [the] surface of the covering - which covers over all the peoples and the woven stuff which is woven over all the nations.
En este monte destruirá el velo que cubre a todas las naciones, la sábana que está sobre todos.
8 He will swallow up death to perpetuity and he will wipe away [the] Lord Yahweh tear[s] from on every face and [the] reproach of people his he will remove from on all the earth for Yahweh he has spoken.
Destruirá la muerte para siempre. El Señor Dios enjugará todas las lágrimas, y en todas partes quitará la humillación sufrida por su pueblo. El Señor ha hablado.
9 And someone will say in the day that here! [is] God our this we have waited for him and he will save us this [is] Yahweh we have waited for him let us be glad and let us rejoice in salvation his.
En ese momento su pueblo dirá: “¡Mira! Este es nuestro Dios; hemos confiado en él y nos ha salvado. Este es el Señor que buscábamos. Ahora podemos alegrarnos y celebrar la salvación que nos trae”.
10 For it will rest [the] hand of Yahweh on the mountain this and it will be trampled down Moab in place its as is trampled down a heap of straw (in *Q(K)*) a dung hill.
La mano protectora del Señor estará sobre esta montaña. Pero los moabitas serán pisoteados como la paja en el agua de un pozo de estiércol.
11 And it will spread out hands its in midst its just as he spreads [them] out swimmer to swim and he will bring low haughtiness its with [the] tricks of hands its.
Extenderán sus manos para tratar de salvarse, como los nadadores que usan sus manos para nadar, pero su orgullo será humillado por más que se agiten.
12 And [the] fortification of [the] refuge of walls your he will lay low he will bring [it] low he will make [it] touch the ground to [the] dust.
Moab, él demolerá tu fortaleza con los altos muros, haciéndola caer al suelo, al polvo.
