Isaiah 25
1 O Yahweh [are] God my you I will exalt you I will give thanks to name your for you have done wonder[s] plans from distant [time] faithfulness faithfulness.
Ó Senhor, tu és o meu Deus; exaltar-te-hei a ti, e louvarei o teu nome, porque fizeste maravilhas: os teus conselhos antigos são verdade e firmeza.
2 For you have made from a city into heap a town fortified into a ruin a fortress of strangers from a city for ever not it will be rebuilt.
Porque da cidade fizeste um montão de pedras, e da forte cidade uma inteira ruina, e do paço dos estranhos, que não seja mais cidade, e jámais se torne a edificar.
3 There-fore they will honor you a people strong a town of nations ruthless they will fear you.
Pelo que te glorificará um poderoso povo, e a cidade das nações formidaveis te temerá.
4 For you have been a refuge for the poor [person] a refuge for the needy [person] when it was distress to him a shelter from rainstorm a shade from heat for [the] breath of ruthless [people] [is] like a rainstorm of a wall.
Porque foste a fortaleza do pobre, e a fortaleza do necessitado, na sua angustia: refugio contra o alagamento, e sombra contra o calor; porque o sopro dos tyrannos é como o alagamento contra o muro.
5 Like heat in a dry land [the] uproar of strangers you will subdue heat in [the] shade of a cloud [the] song of ruthless [people] he will quieten.
Como o calor em logar secco, assim abaterás o impeto dos estranhos; como se aplaca o calor pela sombra da espessa nuvem, assim o cantico dos tyrannos será humilhado.
6 And he will make Yahweh of hosts for all the peoples on the mountain this a feast of fat things a feast of old wine fat things full of marrow old wine refined.
E o Senhor dos Exercitos fará n'este monte a todos os povos um convite de cevados, convite de vinhos puros, de tutanos gordos, e de vinhos puros, bem purificados.
7 And he will swallow up on the mountain this [the] surface of the covering - which covers over all the peoples and the woven stuff which is woven over all the nations.
E devorará n'este monte a mascara do rosto, com que todos os povos andam cobertos, e a cobertura com que todas as nações se cobrem.
8 He will swallow up death to perpetuity and he will wipe away [the] Lord Yahweh tear[s] from on every face and [the] reproach of people his he will remove from on all the earth for Yahweh he has spoken.
Devorará tambem a morte com victoria, e assim enxugará o Senhor Jehovah as lagrimas de todos os rostos, e tirará o opprobrio do seu povo de toda a terra; porque o Senhor o disse.
9 And someone will say in the day that here! [is] God our this we have waited for him and he will save us this [is] Yahweh we have waited for him let us be glad and let us rejoice in salvation his.
E n'aquelle dia se dirá: Eis-que este é o nosso Deus, a quem aguardavamos, e elle nos salvará: este é o Senhor, a quem aguardavamos: na sua salvação pois nos gozaremos e alegraremos.
10 For it will rest [the] hand of Yahweh on the mountain this and it will be trampled down Moab in place its as is trampled down a heap of straw (in *Q(K)*) a dung hill.
Porque a mão do Senhor descançará n'este monte; mas Moab será trilhado debaixo d'elle, como se trilha a palha no monturo.
11 And it will spread out hands its in midst its just as he spreads [them] out swimmer to swim and he will bring low haughtiness its with [the] tricks of hands its.
E estenderá as suas mãos por entre elles, como as estende o nadador para nadar: e abaterá a sua altivez com as ciladas das suas mãos d'elles.
12 And [the] fortification of [the] refuge of walls your he will lay low he will bring [it] low he will make [it] touch the ground to [the] dust.
E abaixará as altas fortalezas dos teus muros, as abaterá e as derribará em terra até ao pó.
