Isaiah 25
1 O Yahweh [are] God my you I will exalt you I will give thanks to name your for you have done wonder[s] plans from distant [time] faithfulness faithfulness.
Uram, te vagy Istenem, magasztallak, dícsérem nevedet! Mivel csodát cselekvél, örök tanácsaid hűség és igazság.
2 For you have made from a city into heap a town fortified into a ruin a fortress of strangers from a city for ever not it will be rebuilt.
Mert a városból kőrakást csináltál, az erős városból romot, az idegenek palotáját olyanná tetted, hogy nincs többé város; soha örökké meg nem épül.
3 There-fore they will honor you a people strong a town of nations ruthless they will fear you.
Ezért dicsőítnek téged erős népek, erőszakos pogányok városai félnek téged!
4 For you have been a refuge for the poor [person] a refuge for the needy [person] when it was distress to him a shelter from rainstorm a shade from heat for [the] breath of ruthless [people] [is] like a rainstorm of a wall.
Mert erőssége voltál a gyöngének, erőssége a szegénynek szorongásában; a szélvész ellen oltalom, árnyék a hévség ellen, mikor az erőszakosok haragja olyan volt, mint kőfalrontó szélvész.
5 Like heat in a dry land [the] uproar of strangers you will subdue heat in [the] shade of a cloud [the] song of ruthless [people] he will quieten.
Mint hévséget száraz földön, megalázod az idegeneknek háborgását, mint a hévség sűrű felleg miatt, megszünt a pogányoknak éneke.
6 And he will make Yahweh of hosts for all the peoples on the mountain this a feast of fat things a feast of old wine fat things full of marrow old wine refined.
És szerez a seregek Ura minden népeknek e hegyen lakodalmat kövér eledelekből, lakodalmat erős borból; velős, kövér eledelekből, megtisztult erős borból;
7 And he will swallow up on the mountain this [the] surface of the covering - which covers over all the peoples and the woven stuff which is woven over all the nations.
S elveszi e hegyen a fátyolt, mely beboríta minden népeket, és a takarót, mely befödött vala minden népségeket;
8 He will swallow up death to perpetuity and he will wipe away [the] Lord Yahweh tear[s] from on every face and [the] reproach of people his he will remove from on all the earth for Yahweh he has spoken.
Elveszti a halált örökre, és letörli az Úr Isten a könyhullatást minden orczáról: és népe gyalázatát eltávolítja az egész földről; mert az Úr szólott.
9 And someone will say in the day that here! [is] God our this we have waited for him and he will save us this [is] Yahweh we have waited for him let us be glad and let us rejoice in salvation his.
És szólnak ama napon: Ímé Istenünk, a kit mi vártunk és a ki megtart minket; ez az Úr, a kit mi vártunk, örüljünk és örvendezzünk szabadításában!
10 For it will rest [the] hand of Yahweh on the mountain this and it will be trampled down Moab in place its as is trampled down a heap of straw (in *Q(K)*) a dung hill.
Mert az Úr keze nyugszik e hegyen, és eltapostatik Moáb az ő földében, mint eltapostatik a szalma a ganaj levében.
11 And it will spread out hands its in midst its just as he spreads [them] out swimmer to swim and he will bring low haughtiness its with [the] tricks of hands its.
És kiterjeszti kezeit abban, mint kiterjeszti az úszó, hogy ússzék; de az Úr megalázza kevélységét és kezei csalárdságát;
12 And [the] fortification of [the] refuge of walls your he will lay low he will bring [it] low he will make [it] touch the ground to [the] dust.
És magas falaid erősségét lerontja, megalázza, a földre, porba dobja.
