Isaiah 25
1 O Yahweh [are] God my you I will exalt you I will give thanks to name your for you have done wonder[s] plans from distant [time] faithfulness faithfulness.
Herra, sinä olet minun Jumalani, sinua minä ylistän, minä kiitän sinun nimeäs; sillä sinä teet ihmeitä: sinun vanhat aivoitukses ovat uskolliset ja todet.
2 For you have made from a city into heap a town fortified into a ruin a fortress of strangers from a city for ever not it will be rebuilt.
Sillä sinä teet kaupungin kiviraunioksi, sen vahvan kaupungin, että hän läjässä on; muukalaisten palatsit, niin ettei ne enää ole kaupungit, eikä ikänä enää rakenneta.
3 There-fore they will honor you a people strong a town of nations ruthless they will fear you.
Sentähden kunnioittaa sinua väkevä kansa, urhoolliset pakanain kaupungit pelkäävät sinua.
4 For you have been a refuge for the poor [person] a refuge for the needy [person] when it was distress to him a shelter from rainstorm a shade from heat for [the] breath of ruthless [people] [is] like a rainstorm of a wall.
Sillä sinä olet heikkoin väkevyys ja köyhäin vahvuus heidän vaivoissansa: myrskyssä turva, varjo helteessä, kuin tyrannit julmistuvat niinkuin raju-ilma seinää vastoin.
5 Like heat in a dry land [the] uproar of strangers you will subdue heat in [the] shade of a cloud [the] song of ruthless [people] he will quieten.
Sinä nöyryytät muukalaisten metelin, niinkuin helteen kuivassa paikassa, niinkuin helle pilven varjolla, niin tyrannein ilo painetaan alas.
6 And he will make Yahweh of hosts for all the peoples on the mountain this a feast of fat things a feast of old wine fat things full of marrow old wine refined.
Ja Herra Zebaot tekee kaikille kansoille tällä vuorella lihavan pidon, pidon selkiästä viinasta, rasvasta, ytimestä ja puhtaasta viinasta.
7 And he will swallow up on the mountain this [the] surface of the covering - which covers over all the peoples and the woven stuff which is woven over all the nations.
Ja tällä vuorella on hän kääriliinan paneva pois, jolla kaikki ihmiset käärityt ovat, ja peittovaatteen, jolla kaikki pakanat peitetyt ovat.
8 He will swallow up death to perpetuity and he will wipe away [the] Lord Yahweh tear[s] from on every face and [the] reproach of people his he will remove from on all the earth for Yahweh he has spoken.
Sillä kuolema pitää nieltämän ijankaikkisesti, ja Herra, Herra on kyyneleet pyyhkivä pois jokaisen kasvoista, ja on ottava kansansa häväistykset pois kaikissa maakunnissa; sillä Herra on sen sanonut.
9 And someone will say in the day that here! [is] God our this we have waited for him and he will save us this [is] Yahweh we have waited for him let us be glad and let us rejoice in salvation his.
Silloin sanotaan: katso, tämä on meidän Jumalamme jota me odotamme, ja hän auttaa meitä; tämä on Herra, häntä me odotamme, iloitaksemme ja riemuitaksemme hänen autuudessansa.
10 For it will rest [the] hand of Yahweh on the mountain this and it will be trampled down Moab in place its as is trampled down a heap of straw (in *Q(K)*) a dung hill.
Sillä Herran käsi lepää tällä vuorella; mutta Moab runnellaan sen alla, niinkuin korret sotkutaan loassa.
11 And it will spread out hands its in midst its just as he spreads [them] out swimmer to swim and he will bring low haughtiness its with [the] tricks of hands its.
Ja Herra hajoittaa kätensä heidän sekaansa, niinkuin uija hajoittaa uidaksensa; ja hän on käsivarrellansa heidän prameutensa alentava.
12 And [the] fortification of [the] refuge of walls your he will lay low he will bring [it] low he will make [it] touch the ground to [the] dust.
Ja sinun muuries korkiat vahvistukset hän kallistaa, alentaa ja heittää tomuun.
