Isaiah 24
1 Here! Yahweh [is] about to lay waste the earth and [is] about to devastate it and he will twist surface its and he will scatter inhabitants its.
Sesungguhnya, TUHAN akan menanduskan bumi dan akan menghancurkannya, akan membalikkan permukaannya, dan akan menyerakkan penduduknya.
2 And it will be as the people as the priest as the servant as master his as the maidservant as mistress her as the buyer as the seller as the lender as the borrower as the creditor as [the one] who a creditor [is] in him.
Maka seperti nasib rakyat demikianlah nasib imam, seperti nasib hamba laki-laki demikianlah nasib tuannya, seperti nasib hamba perempuan demikianlah nasib nyonyanya, seperti nasib pembeli demikianlah nasib penjual, seperti nasib peminjam demikianlah nasib yang meminjamkan, seperti nasib orang yang berhutang demikianlah nasib orang yang berpiutang.
3 Certainly - it will be laid waste the earth and certainly - it will be plundered for Yahweh he has spoken the word this.
Bumi akan ditanduskan setandus-tandusnya, dan akan dijarah sehabis-habisnya, sebab Tuhanlah yang mengucapkan firman ini.
4 It has dried up it has withered the earth it has languished it has withered [the] world they have languished [the] noble[s] of [the] people of the earth.
Bumi berkabung dan layu, ya, dunia merana dan layu, langit dan bumi merana bersama.
5 And the earth it has been polluted under inhabitants its for they have transgressed laws they have overstepped [the] decree they have broken [the] covenant of perpetuity.
Bumi cemar karena penduduknya, sebab mereka melanggar undang-undang, mengubah ketetapan dan mengingkari perjanjian abadi.
6 There-fore a curse it has consumed [the] earth and they have been held guilty [the] inhabitants in it there-fore they have diminished [the] inhabitants of [the] earth and it will be left humankind of smallness.
Sebab itu sumpah serapah akan memakan bumi, dan penduduknya akan mendapat hukuman; sebab itu penduduk bumi akan hangus lenyap, dan manusia akan tinggal sedikit.
7 It has dried up new wine it has languished [the] vine they have groaned all [the people] joyful of heart.
Air anggur tidak menggirangkan lagi, pohon anggur merana, dan semua orang yang bersukahati mengeluh.
8 It has ceased [the] gaiety of tambourines it has stopped [the] uproar of jubilant [people] it has ceased [the] gaiety of [the] harp.
Kegirangan suara rebana sudah berhenti, keramaian orang-orang yang beria-ria sudah diam, dan kegirangan suara kecapi sudah berhenti.
9 With song not people will drink wine it will be bitter strong drink to [those who] drink it.
Tiada lagi orang minum anggur dengan bernyanyi, arak menjadi pahit bagi orang yang meminumnya.
10 It has been broken [the] town of formlessness it has been shut up every house from entering.
Kota yang kacau riuh sudah hancur, setiap rumah sudah tertutup, tidak dapat dimasuki.
11 An outcry on wine [will be] in the streets it has become evening all gladness it has departed [the] gaiety of the earth.
Orang menjerit di jalan-jalan karena tiada anggur, segala sukacita sudah lenyap, kegirangan bumi sudah hilang.
12 It has remained in the city desolation and ruin it will be crushed [the] gate.
Yang terdapat dalam kota hanya kerusakan, pintu gerbang telah didobrak dan runtuh.
13 For thus it will be in [the] midst of the earth in among the peoples like [the] beating of an olive tree like gleanings if it has come to an end [the] grape harvest.
Sebab beginilah akan terjadi di atas bumi, di tengah-tengah bangsa-bangsa, yaitu seperti pada waktu orang menjolok buah zaitun, seperti pada waktu pemetikan susulan, apabila panen buah anggur sudah berakhir.
14 They they will lift up voice their they will shout for joy in [the] majesty of Yahweh they will cry aloud from [the] west.
Dengan suara nyaring mereka bersorak-sorai, demi kemegahan TUHAN, mereka memekik dari sebelah barat:
15 There-fore in the east glorify Yahweh in [the] islands of the sea [the] name of Yahweh [the] God of Israel.
"Sebab itu permuliakanlah TUHAN di negeri-negeri timur, nama TUHAN, Allah Israel, di tanah-tanah pesisir laut!"
16 From [the] extremity of the earth songs we have heard splendor [belongs] to the righteous [one] and I said leanness [belongs] to me leanness [belongs] to me woe! to me [those who] act treacherously they act treacherously and treachery [those who] act treacherously they act treacherously.
Dari ujung bumi kami dengar nyanyian pujian: "Hormat bagi Yang Mahaadil!" Tetapi aku berkata: "Kurus merana aku, kurus merana aku. Celakalah aku! Sebab para penggarong menggarong, ya, terus-menerus mereka melakukan penggarongannya!"
17 Dread and pit and snare [are] on you O inhabitant of the earth.
Hai penduduk bumi, kamu akan dikejutkan, akan masuk pelubang dan jerat!
18 And it will be the [one who] flees from [the] sound of the dread he will fall into the pit and the [one who] goes up from [the] midst of the pit he will be caught in snare for windows from a high place they have been opened and they have shaken [the] foundations of [the] earth.
Maka yang lari karena bunyi yang mengejutkan akan jatuh ke dalam pelubang, dan yang naik dari dalam pelubang akan tertangkap dalam jerat. Sebab tingkap-tingkap di langit akan terbuka dan akan bergoncang dasar-dasar bumi.
19 Utterly it has been broken the earth utterly it has been split through [the] earth certainly it has been shaken [the] earth.
Bumi remuk redam, bumi hancur luluh bumi goncang-gancing.
20 Wildly it will stagger [the] earth like drunkard and it will sway like hut and it will be heavy on it transgression its and it will fall and not it will repeat to rise.
Bumi terhuyung-huyung sama sekali seperti orang mabuk dan goyang seperti gubuk yang ditiup angin; dosa pemberontakannya menimpa dia dengan sangat, ia rebah dan tidak akan bangkit-bangkit lagi.
21 And it will be in the day that he will visit [judgment] Yahweh on [the] host of the height in the height[s] and on [the] kings of the earth on the earth.
Maka pada hari itu TUHAN akan menghukum tentara langit di langit dan raja-raja bumi di atas bumi.
22 And they will be gathered a gathering prisoner[s] to a pit and they will be shut up at a prison and from an abundance of days they will be visited.
Mereka akan dikumpulkan bersama-sama, seperti tahanan dimasukkan dalam liang; mereka akan dimasukkan dalam penjara dan akan dihukum sesudah waktu yang lama.
23 And it will be abashed the moon and it will be ashamed the sun for he will reign Yahweh of hosts on [the] mountain of Zion and in Jerusalem and before elders his glory.
Bulan purnama akan tersipu-sipu, dan matahari terik akan mendapat malu, sebab TUHAN semesta alam akan memerintah di gunung Sion dan di Yerusalem, dan Ia akan menunjukkan kemuliaan-Nya di depan tua-tua umat-Nya.
