Isaiah 22
1 [the] oracle of [the] valley of Vision what? [is] to you then that you have gone up all of you to the roofs.
Framsegn um Synedalen. Kva er på ferd, sidan alt folket ditt stig upp på taki?
2 Noises - full O city turbulent O town jubilant slain [ones] your not [are] slain of a sword and not [are] dead of battle.
Du bråkande, du ståkande by, du jublande borg! Dine falne menner er ikkje slegne med sverd, ikkje drepne i strid.
3 All rulers your they have fled together from a bow they have been captured all found [ones] your they were captured together from a distance they had fled.
Hovdingarne dine tok alle saman til rømings, utan bogeskot let dei seg taka til fanga. Dei som fanst i deg, hev vorte fanga alle saman, langt burt hev det rømt.
4 There-fore I said look away from me I will show bitterness with weeping may not you insist to comfort me on [the] devastation of [the] daughter of people my.
Difor segjer eg: Sjå burt ifrå meg, lat meg gråta sårt! truga ikkje trøyst på meg for at dotteri, folket mitt, hev vorte herja!
5 For a day of consternation and trampling and confusion [belongs] to [the] Lord Yahweh of hosts in [the] valley of vision a breaking down of a wall and a crying out to the mountain.
For ein upprivande dag med nedtrakking og forfjetring kjem frå Herren, Allhers-Herren, i Synedalen; murar vert nedbrotne, naudropet stig mot fjellet.
6 And Elam it took up a quiver with chariotry of a man horsemen and Kir it uncovered a shield.
Elam tok pilehuset, han drog fram med vogn-stridsmenner og med hestfolk; Kir nækte skjoldarne.
7 And it was [the] choicest of valleys your they were full chariotry and the horsemen certainly they took a stand the gate towards.
Dei fagraste dalarne dine vart fyllt med stridsvogner, og hestfolk tok post framfor porten.
8 And he uncovered [the] covering of Judah and you looked in the day that to [the] weaponry of [the] House of the Forest.
Han tok vern frå Juda. Då såg du deg um etter herbunad - i skoghuset.
9 And [the] breaches of [the] city of David you saw that they were many and you gathered [the] waters of the pool lower.
Og de såg at Davidsbyen hadde mange rivnor, og de samlar upp vatnet i Nedredammen;
10 And [the] houses of Jerusalem you counted and you pulled down the houses to fortify the city wall.
de talde husi i Jerusalem, og de reiv ned husi og vilde gjera muren traust.
11 And a reservoir - you made between the two walls for [the] water of the pool old and not you looked to [the] [one who] made it and [the] [one who] planned it from distant [time] not you considered.
Og imillom båe murarne gjorde de ein kulp for vatnet frå Gamledammen. Men på honom som hadde sett dette i verk, gav det ikkje gaum; til honom som longe sidan hadde laga dette til, såg de ikkje.
12 And he called [the] Lord Yahweh of hosts in the day that for weeping and for wailing and for baldness and for girding of sackcloth.
Herren, Allhers-Herren, kalla på den dagen til gråt og øying, til å raka hovudet og sveipa seg i syrgjeklæde.
13 And there! - joy and gladness they are killing - cattle and they are slaughtering sheep they are eating meat and they are drinking wine we will eat and we will drink for tomorrow we will die.
Men her er gleda og gaman, ukseslagting og saueslagting, kjøteting og vindrikking. «Lat oss eta og drikka; for i morgon døyr me!»
14 And he has revealed himself in ears my Yahweh of hosts if it will be atoned for (the iniquity *LA(bh)*) this for you until you will die! he says [the] Lord Yahweh of hosts.
Difor ljomar openberringi frå Herren, allhers drott, i øyro mine: Den syndi fer de ikkje sona til dess de døyr, segjer Herren, Allhers-Herren.
15 Thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh of hosts come go to the steward this to Shebna who [is] over the house.
So sagde Herren, Allhers-Herren: «Gakk til denne drottseten Sebna, han som stend fyre huset, og seg til honom:
16 What? [belongs] to you here and who? [belongs] to you here that you have dug out for yourself here a tomb digging out high place tomb his cutting in the rock a dwelling for himself.
Kva hev du her å gjera, og kven tenkjer du å leggja her, sidan du her høgg deg ut ei grav? Du som høgg gravi di ut på so høg ein stad og holar deg bustad i berget,
17 There! Yahweh [is] about to hurl away you hurling O man and [is] about to grasp you completely.
du skal vita at Herren skal slengja deg langt av leid, du mann! Han skal rulla deg saman til ein klump;
18 Certainly he will wind up you a winding a ball to a land broad of both hands there you will die and there [the] chariots of splendor your [will be] [the] disgrace of [the] house of master your.
han skal vinda deg saman til eit nysta og kasta deg som ein ball ut på vidvangen. Der skal du døy, og dit skal dei gilde vognerne dine koma, du skamflekk for huset åt herren din.
19 And I will push you from office your and from post your he will tear down you.
Eg vil støyta deg ned frå romet ditt, og frå posten din skal du verta avjaga.
20 And it will be in the day that and I will summon servant my Eliakim [the] son of Hilkiah.
Og på den dagen vil eg kalla på tenaren min, Eljakim, son åt Hilkia;
21 And I will clothe him tunic your and sash your I will make firm on him and authority your I will put in hand his and he will become a father of [the] inhabitant[s] of Jerusalem and of [the] house of Judah.
og eg vil klæda honom i din bunad, og beltet ditt vil eg binda um honom, og ditt rådvelde vil eg gjeva i hans hender. Han skal vera ein far for deim som bur i Jerusalem og for Juda-huset.
22 And I will put [the] key of [the] house of David on shoulder his and he will open and there not [will be one who] shuts and he will shut and there not [will be one who] opens.
Og eg vil leggja lykelen til Davids hus på herdi hans, og når han let upp, skal ingen læsa att, og når han læser att, skal ingen lata upp.
23 And I will drive him a tent peg in a place firm and he will become a seat of honor for [the] house of father his.
Eg set honom som ein spikar på ein fast stad, og han skal verta eit æresete for farshuset sitt.
24 And they will hang on him all - [the] honor of [the] house of father his the descendants and the offshoot all [the] vessels of the small from [the] vessels of the bowls and unto all [the] vessels of the jars.
Men so framt heile tyngdi av farshuset hengjer seg på honom med alle sine ætlingar og frendar - alle småkjerald, frå fati til leirkrukkorne -
25 In the day that [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts it will be removed the tent peg that was driven in a place firm and it will be cut down and it will fall and it will be cut off the burden which [was] on it for Yahweh he has spoken.
På den dagen, segjer Herren, allhers drott, skal spikaren i den faste veggen losna, han skal ganga av og detta ned, og byrdi som hekk på honom, skal krasast. For Herren hev tala.»
