Isaiah 19

1 [the] oracle of Egypt there! Yahweh [is] riding on a cloud swift and [is] coming Egypt and they will tremble [the] idols of Egypt from before him and [the] heart of Egypt it will melt within it.

پیامی برای مصر: خداوند بر ابری تندرو سوار شده و به جنگ مصر می‌آید. بتهای مصر در برابر او می‌لرزند و دلهای مصری‌ها از ترس ضعف می‌کنند.

2 And I will provoke Egypt against Egypt and they will fight each against brother his and each against neighbor his city against city kingdom against kingdom.

خداوند می‌فرماید: «مصری‌ها را بر ضد یکدیگر خواهم برانگیخت تا برادر با برادر، همسایه با همسایه، شهر با شهر، و مملکت با مملکت بجنگند.

3 And it will be disturbed [the] spirit of Egypt within it and plan its I will confuse and they will consult the idols and the mutterer and the necromancers and the soothsayers.

تدبیرهایی را که مصری‌ها اندیشیده‌اند بی‌اثر خواهم کرد و آنان روحیهٔ خود را خواهند باخت. ایشان برای دریافت کمک، به بتهایشان پناه خواهند برد و برای چاره‌جویی، به احضارکنندگان ارواح و افسونگران و جادوگران متوسل خواهند شد.»

4 And I will hand over Egypt in [the] hand of a master cruel and a king strong he will rule over them [the] utterance of the lord Yahweh of hosts.

خداوند لشکرهای آسمان می‌فرماید: «من مصری‌ها را به دست حاکمی ستمگر و بیرحم تسلیم می‌کنم تا بر آنها حکمرانی کند.»

5 And they will be dried up waters from the sea and a river it will become dry and it will be dry.

آب رود نیل کم خواهد شد و بعد از مدتی خشک خواهد گردید.

6 And they will stink [the] rivers they will be low and they will become dry [the] canals of Egypt reed[s] and rush[es] they will wither.

نهرها متعفن خواهند شد و آب جویها کم شده، خواهند خشکید. نی و بوریا پژمرده خواهند گردید،

7 Reeds at [the] River at [the] mouth of [the] River and all [the] sown land of [the] River it will be dry it will be driven about and there not [will be] it.

تمام سبزه‌ها و مزرعه‌های کنار رود نیل خشک شده، از بین خواهند رفت و تمام محصول تلف خواهد شد.

8 And they will lament the fishermen and they will mourn all [those who] cast in the River a fish hook and [those who] spread out a fishing net on [the] surface of [the] waters they will languish.

همهٔ ماهیگیرانی که تور و قلاب به رود نیل می‌اندازند نومید خواهند شد و زاری خواهند کرد.

9 And they will be ashamed workers of flax combed and [those who] weave white cloth.

پارچه‌بافانی که با کتان پارچه می‌بافتند مأیوس خواهند گردید،

10 And they will be foundations its crushed all [those who] work of wage[s] [will be] grieved of soul.

و همهٔ بافندگان و کارگران نومید و دل شکسته خواهند شد.

11 [are] only Fools [the] officials of Zoan [the] wise [people] of [the] counselors of Pharaoh counsel foolish how? will you say to Pharaoh [am] a son of wise [people] I a son of kings of ancient time.

بزرگان شهر صوعن نادانند و هر مشورت و پندی که به پادشاه مصر می‌دهند احمقانه است. پس چگونه به پادشاه می‌گویند: «ما از نسل حکیمان و پادشاهان قدیم هستیم!»

12 Where [are]? they then wise [people] your so they may tell please to you so they may know what? has he planned Yahweh of hosts on Egypt.

ای پادشاه مصر مشاوران دانای تو کجا هستند؟ بگذار آنها به تو اطلاع دهند که خداوند لشکرهای آسمان بر ضد مصر چه اراده کرده است.

13 They have become fools [the] officials of Zoan they have been deceived [the] officials of Memphis they have misled Egypt [the] corner of tribes its.

رهبران صوعن و ممفیس و تمام بزرگان مصر نادان و گمراهند و مصر را به نابودی کشانده‌اند.

14 Yahweh he has mixed in midst its a spirit of confusion and they have misled Egypt in every deed its as is made to stagger a drunkard in vomit his.

خداوند سرگیجه به آنها داده و آنها مردم مصر را مانند اشخاص مست که بر قی خود می‌افتند و بلند می‌شوند و نمی‌دانند به کجا می‌روند، گمراه کرده‌اند.

15 And not it will be for Egypt a deed which it will do head and tail palm branch and bulrush.

هیچ‌کس نمی‌تواند مصر را نجات دهد نه بزرگ نه کوچک، نه ثروتمند و نه فقیر.

16 In the day that it will be Egypt like women and it will tremble - and it will be in dread of [the] brandishing of [the] hand of Yahweh of hosts which he [is] brandishing on it.

در آن روز، مصری‌ها مانند زنان ضعیف خواهند شد و هنگامی که ببینند خداوند لشکرهای آسمان دستش را برای مجازات آنان دراز کرده است از ترس خواهند لرزید.

17 And it will become [the] land of Judah to Egypt an object of terror every [one] whom someone will bring to remembrance it to him he will be in dread because of [the] plan of Yahweh of hosts which he [is] planning on it.

ایشان با شنیدن اسم سرزمین یهودا به وحشت خواهند افتاد. این را خداوند لشکرهای آسمان اراده نموده است.

18 In the day that they will be five cities in [the] land of Egypt speaking [the] language of Canaan and swearing an oath to Yahweh of hosts [the] city of Destruction it will be called of one.

در آن زمان، پنج شهر در سرزمین مصر از خداوند لشکرهای آسمان پیروی نموده، به زبان کنعانیان سخن خواهند گفت، و یکی از این شهرها «شهر آفتاب» نامیده خواهد شد.

19 In the day that it will be an altar to Yahweh in [the] middle of [the] land of Egypt and a pillar [will be] beside border its to Yahweh.

در آن روز، مذبحی در وسط مصر، و ستون یادبودی در مرز آن، برای خداوند بر پا خواهد شد.

20 And it will become a sign and a witness to Yahweh of hosts in [the] land of Egypt that they will cry out to Yahweh because of oppressors and he may send to them a deliverer and [one who] contends and he will rescue them.

اینها نشان دهندهٔ حضور خداوند لشکرهای آسمان در سرزمین مصر خواهند بود. از آن پس، هرگاه مصری‌ها دعا کرده، از خداوند بخواهند تا آنها را از دست ظالمان برهاند، او برای ایشان حامی و نجات دهنده‌ای خواهد فرستاد و ایشان را نجات خواهد داد.

21 And he will make himself known Yahweh to Egypt and they will know Egypt Yahweh in the day that and they will serve sacrifice and offering and they will vow a vow to Yahweh and they will pay [it].

خداوند خود را به مصری‌ها آشکار خواهد کرد و ایشان خداوند را خواهند شناخت. مردم مصر با تقدیم قربانیها و هدایا او را عبادت خواهند کرد و نذرهای خود را به وی ادا خواهند نمود.

22 And he will strike Yahweh Egypt striking and healing and they will turn to Yahweh and he will be entreated by them and he will heal them.

به این ترتیب، خداوند اول مصری‌ها را تنبیه خواهد کرد، سپس برگشته ایشان را شفا خواهد داد. بله، مصری‌ها به سوی خداوند بازگشت خواهند کرد و او دعایشان را شنیده، آنان را شفا خواهد داد.

23 In the day that it will be a highway from Egypt Assyria towards and it will go Assyria in Egypt and Egypt in Assyria and they will serve Egypt Assyria.

در آن روز، شاهراهی از مصر به آشور کشیده خواهد شد، و مصری‌ها و آشوری‌ها به سرزمینهای یکدیگر رفت و آمد خواهند کرد و هر دو یک خدا را خواهند پرستید.

24 In the day that it will be Israel a third to Egypt and to Assyria a blessing in [the] midst of the earth.

اسرائیل نیز با ایشان متحد خواهد شد و هر سه مملکت با هم باعث برکت تمام جهان خواهند گردید.

25 Which he will bless it Yahweh of hosts saying [be] blessed people my Egypt and [the] work of hands my Assyria and inheritance my Israel.

خداوند لشکرهای آسمان آنها را برکت داده، خواهد گفت: «متبارک باد قوم من مصر و صنعت دست من آشور و میراث من اسرائیل!»
