Isaiah 13
1 [the] oracle of Babylon which he saw Isaiah [the] son of Amoz.
Oracle contre Babylone, que prononça Isaïe, fils d’Amoc.
2 On a mountain swept bare lift up a standard lift up a voice to them wave a hand so they may go [the] doors of noble [people].
Sur une montagne dénudée élevez un étendard, appelez-les à grands cris, faites signe de la main, qu’ils franchissent les portes des triomphateurs!
3 I I have commanded to consecrated [ones] my also I have summoned warriors my to anger my [the] exultant [ones] of pride my.
J’Ai commandé ma troupe sainte, j’ai appelé, pour servir ma colère, mes guerriers, champions enthousiastes de ma grandeur.
4 [the] sound of A tumult [is] on the mountains [the] likeness of a people numerous [the] sound of an uproar of kingdoms of nations gathering Yahweh of hosts [is] mustering an army of battle.
Une bruyante rumeur éclate sur les montagnes, on dirait la rumeur d’un peuple immense. C’Est le bruit tumultueux d’empires, de nations rassemblées: I’Eternel-Cebaot passe en revue l’armée du combat.
5 [they are] coming From a land of distance from [the] end of the heavens Yahweh and [the] weapons of indignation his to destroy all the land.
ils arrivent d’une terre lointaine, des confins du ciel, l’Eternel et les instruments de sa fureur, pour ravager toute la terre.
6 Wail for [is] near [the] day of Yahweh like devastation from [the] Almighty it will come.
Lamentez-vous, car le jour du Seigneur est proche; c’est comme un fléau déchaîné par le Tout-Puissant.
7 There-fore all hands they will drop and every heart of a person it will melt.
Aussi toutes les mains sont défaillantes, tout cœur d’homme se liquéfie.
8 And they will be terrified - pangs and pains they will seize [them]! like [woman] giving birth they will be in anguish! each to neighbor his they will look in astonishment [will be] faces of flames faces their.
lls sont frappés d’épouvante les maux, les douleurs s’emparent d’eux; ils se tordent comme une femme en travail, ils se regardent l’un l’autre avec stupeur, leur visage est comme en feu.
9 There! [the] day of Yahweh [is] coming a cruel [day] and wrath and burning of anger to make the land a waste and sinners its he will destroy from it.
Oui, il arrive implacable, le jour du Seigneur, jour d’emportement et de violente colère, qui réduira la terre en solitude et en exterminera les criminels.
10 For [the] stars of the heavens and constellations their not they will flash forth light their it will be dark the sun when goes forth it and [the] moon not it will make shine light its.
Les étoiles du ciel et ses constellations ne feront plus briller leur lumière, le soleil sera obscurci dès son lever, la lune ne jettera plus de clarté.
11 And I will visit on [the] world evil and on wicked [people] iniquity their and I will put an end to [the] pride of arrogant [people] and [the] haughtiness of ruthless [people] I will bring low.
Car je vais punir le globe de ses méfaits et les méchants de leur crime; je vais faire cesser l’orgueil des insolents, humilier l’arrogance des puissants.
12 I will make precious humankind more than pure gold and humankind more than [the] gold of Ophir.
Je rendrai les hommes plus rares que l’or pur, les mortels que le métal fin d’Ophir.
13 There-fore heaven I will make tremble and it may shake the earth from place its in [the] wrath of Yahweh of hosts and in [the] day of [the] burning of anger his.
Pour cela, je ferai trembler les cieux, et la terre sera ébranlée sur ses bases, par le courroux de l’Eternel-Cebaot, le jour où éclatera sa colère.
14 And it will be like a gazelle hunted and like sheep and there not [will be one who] gathers everyone to own people his they will turn and everyone to own land his they will flee.
On sera alors comme le cerf pourchassé, comme un troupeau que personne ne rassemble. Chacun se dirigera vers son peuple, chacun fuira dans son pays.
15 Every [one who] is found he will be pierced through and every [one who] is captured he will fall by the sword.
Quiconque y sera découvert sera poignardé, quiconque s’y laissera prendre tombera par le glaive.
16 And children their they will be dashed in pieces to eyes their they will be plundered houses their and wives their (they will be lain with. *Q(K)*)
Leurs nourrissons seront écrasés sous leurs yeux, leurs maisons pillées, leurs femmes violées.
17 Here I [am] about to rouse on them Media who silver not they value and gold not they delight in it.
Voici que j’excite contre eux les Mèdes, qui n’estiment point l’argent et ne font aucun cas de l’or.
18 And bows youths they will dash in pieces and [the] fruit of [the] womb not they will have compassion on on children not it will look with pity eye their.
De leurs arcs ils abattront les jeunes gens; ils seront sans pitié pour le fruit des entrailles, sans miséricorde pour les enfants.
19 And it will be Babylon [the] beauty of kingdoms [the] splendor of [the] pride of [the] Chaldeans like [the] overthrow of God Sodom and Gomorrah.
Et Babylone, la perle des royaumes, la gloire, l’orgueil des Chaldéens sera, comme Sodome et Gomorrhe, bouleversée par l’Eternel.
20 Not it will remain to perpetuity and not it will settle until a generation and a generation and not he will pitch a tent there an Arab and shepherds not they will make lie down there.
Elle ne sera plus jamais habitée, et ne servira plus de résidence jusqu’à la fin des générations; l’Arabe n’y dressera pas sa tente, les pâtres n’y feront pas reposer leurs troupeaux.
21 And they will lie down there desert-dwellers and they will be full houses their jackals and they will dwell there daughters of an ostrich and goats they will leap about there.
Mais les bêtes sauvages y auront leur gîte, ses maisons seront pleines de hiboux; les autruches y éliront domicile et les boucs y prendront leurs ébats.
22 And it will sing hyenas in palaces its and jackals in [the] palaces of delight and [is] near to go time its and days its not they will be prolonged.
Les chiens sauvages hurleront dans ses palais et les chacals dans ses châteaux de plaisance. Le temps de sa fin avance rapidement, ses jours ne se prolongeront pas.
