< Isaiah 10 >

1 Woe to! those [who] decree decrees of wickedness and writers [who] trouble they wrote.
‌ʻE malaʻia ʻakinautolu ʻoku fokotuʻu ʻae fono taʻemāʻoniʻoni, pea ʻoku tohi ʻae mamahi ʻaia kuo nau tuʻutuʻuni;
2 To turn aside from judgment poor [people] and to take away [the] justice of [the] poor [people] of people my to be widows prey their and fatherless ones they will plunder.
Ke fakaafe ʻae masiva mei he fakamaau, pea faʻao ʻae totonu mei he masiva ʻo hoku kakai, ke nau kākaaʻi ʻae kau fefine kuo mate honau husepāniti, pea ke nau kaihaʻa mei he tamai mate!
3 And what? will you do to [the] day of punishment and to [the] devastation [which] from a distance it will come to whom? will you flee for help and where? will you leave abundance your.
Pea ko e hā te mou fai ʻi he ʻaho ʻoe ʻaʻahi, pea ʻi he fakaʻauha ʻaia ʻe haʻu mei he mamaʻo? Te mou kumi ʻae tokoni meia hai? Pea te mou tuku ʻi fē ʻa homou nāunau?
4 Except anyone kneeled down under prisoner[s] and under [the] slain [people] they will fall for all this not it has turned back anger his and still hand his [is] stretched out.
‌ʻI he taʻemaʻu au te nau hoko ko e pōpula ki he pōpula, pea moʻulaloa kiate kinautolu kuo fakamoʻulaloa. Pea neongo ʻae meʻa ni kotoa pē ʻoku ʻikai taʻofi hono houhau, ka ʻoku kei mafao hono nima.
5 Woe to! Assyria [the] rod of anger my and [is] a staff it in hand their indignation my.
ʻE malaʻia ʻae tangata ʻo ʻAsilia, ko e meʻa tā ʻo ʻeku tuputāmaki, pea ko e tokotoko ʻi honau nima ko hoku houhau ia.
6 On a nation godless I sent him and on [the] people of wrath my I commanded him to plunder plunder and to take as spoil spoil (and to make it *Q(k)*) a trampling place like [the] mud of [the] streets.
Te u fekau ia ki he puleʻanga mālualoi, pea ki he kakai ʻoku ou houhau ki ai te u tuku kiate ia ha fekau, ke ʻave ʻae koloa, pea ʻave mo e meʻakai, pea ke molomoloki ʻakinautolu ʻo hangē ko e pelepela ʻoe ngaahi hala.
7 And he not thus he intended and heart his not thus it planned for to destroy [is] in heart his and to cut off nations not a few.
Ka ko eni, ʻoku ʻikai ko hono loto ia, pea ʻoku ʻikai ke mahalo pehē ʻa hono loto; ka ʻoku ʻi hono loto ke tuʻusi mo fakaʻauha ʻae ngaahi puleʻanga lahi.
8 For he said ¿ not [are] commanders my alike kings.
He ʻoku ne pehē, “ʻIkai ko e ngaahi tuʻi moʻoni ʻae ngaahi ʻeiki ʻoku ʻiate au?
9 ¿ Not like Carchemish [is] Calneh or? not like Arpad [is] Hamath or? not like Damascus [is] Samaria.
‌ʻIkai ʻoku tatau ʻa Kalino mo Kalikimisi? ʻIkai ʻoku tatau ʻa Hamate mo ʻApati? ʻIkai ʻoku tatau ʻa Samēlia mo Tamasikusi?
10 Just as it has found hand my [the] kingdoms of the idol and images their [were] more than Jerusalem and more than Samaria.
‌ʻO hangē ko e ʻilo ʻa hoku nima ʻae ngaahi puleʻanga ʻoe kau tamapua, ʻaia naʻe lahi hake ki Selūsalema mo Samēlia ʻenau ngaahi tamapua;
11 ¿ Not just as I did to Samaria and to idols its so will I do to Jerusalem and to images its.
‌ʻO hangē ko ia kuo u fai ki Samēlia mo ʻene ngaahi tamapua, ʻikai te u fai pehē foki ki Selūsalema mo ʻene ngaahi tamapua?”
12 And it will be that he will finish [the] Lord all work his on [the] mountain of Zion and in Jerusalem I will visit [judgment] on [the] fruit of [the] greatness of [the] heart of [the] king of Assyria and on [the] glory of [the] haughtiness of eyes his.
Ko ia ʻe hoko ʻo pehē, “ʻOka fakakakato ʻe he ʻEiki ʻa ʻene ngāue kotoa ʻi he moʻunga ko Saione pea mo Selūsalema, te u tautea ʻae futa ʻoe loto mālohi ʻoe tuʻi ʻo ʻAsilia, pea mo e hihiki ʻo hono mata fielahi.”
13 For he has said by [the] strength of hand my I have acted and by skill my for I have understanding and I may remove - [the] boundaries of peoples (and provisions their *Q(K)*) I have plundered and I may bring down like a mighty [man] inhabitants.
He ʻoku ne pehē, “ʻI he mālohi ʻo hoku nima kuo u fai eni, pea ʻi heʻeku poto; he ʻoku ou fai fakapotopoto: pea kuo u toʻo ʻae ngaahi fakangatangata ʻoe kakai, pea kaihaʻasia mo ʻenau koloa, pea kuo u fakamoʻulaloa ʻae kakai ʻo hangē ko ia ʻoku taau mo e tangata toʻa:
14 And it has found like nest - hand my [the] wealth of the peoples and as gathers eggs abandoned all the earth I I have gathered and not any was fluttering a wing and opening a mouth and chirping.
Pea kuo ʻilo ʻe hoku nima ʻae koloa ʻae kakai ʻo hangē ko ha pununga: pea hangē ko ha taha ʻoku tānaki ʻae ngaahi foʻi manu ʻoku pehē ʻa ʻeku tānaki ʻa māmani kotoa pē; pea naʻe ʻikai ha taha te ne ueʻi ʻae kapakau, pe fakamanga ʻae ngutu, pe fakaʻasi.”
15 ¿ Does it glorify itself the axe above the [one who] cuts with it or? does it magnify itself the saw above [the] [one who] wields it as wields a rod [those who] lift it as lifts a staff not wood.
‌ʻE fielahi ʻae toki kiate ia ʻoku ne tā ʻaki ia? Pe fielahi ʻae kili kiate ia ʻoku ne fetohoaki ia? ʻO hangē ka tā mai ʻae ʻakau kiate ia ʻoku ne toʻo ia, pea hangē ka hiki hake ʻe he tokotoko kiate ia ʻoku ne toʻo ia.
16 Therefore he will send the lord Yahweh of hosts on fat ones his leanness and under glory his it will burn a burning like [the] burning of fire.
Ko ia ʻe fekau atu ʻe Sihova, ko e ʻEiki ʻoe ngaahi kautau, ʻae tutue ki honau kakai sino; pea te ne tutu ke vela ʻa hono nāunau ʻo hangē ko e kakaha ʻae afi.
17 And it will become [the] light of Israel a fire and holy [one] its a flame and it will burn and it will consume bush[es] his and thorn[s] his in a day one.
Pea ko e maama ʻo ʻIsileli ʻe hoko ia ko e afi, pea ko hono tokotaha māʻoniʻoni ko e ulo afi, pea ʻe kakaha ia pea fakaʻauha ʻi he ʻaho pe taha hono ngaahi ʻakau talatala mo e talatalaʻāmoa;
18 And [the] splendor of forest his and orchard his from breath and unto flesh it will bring to an end and it will be as wastes away [one who] is sick.
Pea ʻe fakaʻauha ʻae lelei ʻoe vao lahi ʻo ia, pea mo ʻene ngoue ʻoku fua, ʻae laumālie mo e sino fakatouʻosi; pea te nau hangē ko e tangata toʻo fuka kuo pongia.
19 And [the] remnant of [the] tree[s] of forest his a number they will be and a child he will record them.
Pea ko hono toe ʻoe ʻakau ʻoe vao lahi ko ia te nau tokosiʻi, ko ia ʻe faʻa tohi ia ʻe ha tamasiʻi.
20 And it will be - in the day that not it will repeat again [the] remnant of Israel and [the] escaped remnant of [the] house of Jacob to depend on [the] [one who] struck it and it will depend on Yahweh [the] holy [one] of Israel in truth.
Pea ʻe hoko ʻi he ʻaho ko ia ʻo pehē, ko hono toe ʻo ʻIsileli, pea mo kinautolu kuo hao ʻi he fale ʻo Sēkope, ʻe ʻikai te nau toe falala kiate ia naʻe taaʻi ʻakinautolu; ka e falala moʻoni kia Sihova, ko e tokotaha māʻoniʻoni ʻo ʻIsileli.
21 A remnant it will return [the] remnant of Jacob to [the] God mighty.
‌ʻE foki mai hono toe, ʻio, ʻae toe ʻo Sēkope, ki he ʻOtua Māfimafi.
22 That though it will be people your Israel like [the] sand of the sea a remnant it will return in it annihilation [has been] decided [is] about to overflow righteousness.
He neongo ʻae tatau ʻa hoʻo kakai, ʻE ʻIsileli, mo e ʻoneʻone ʻoe tahi, ka e foki mai pe hono toe: kuo pau ke hoko ʻae fakaʻauha ʻe fonu mahua ʻi he fai totonu.
23 For complete destruction and [what] has been decided [the] Lord Yahweh of hosts [is] about to do in [the] midst of all the land.
He ko Sihova ko e ʻEiki ʻoe ngaahi kautau te ne fai ʻae fakaʻauha kuo kotofa, ʻi he lotolotonga ʻoe fonua kotoa pē.
24 Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh of hosts may not you be afraid O people my [which] dwells Zion from Assyria with the rod it will strike you and staff its it will lift up on you in [the] manner of Egypt.
Ko ia ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻEiki ʻoe ngaahi kautau, “ʻE hoku kakai ʻaia ʻoku nofo ʻi Saione, ʻoua ʻe manavahē ki he tangata ʻAsilia: te ne taaʻi koe ʻaki ʻae meʻa tā, pea hiki hake hono tokotoko kiate koe, ka ʻe hangē ko ia naʻe fai ʻi ʻIsipite.
25 For yet a little of a little and it will be finished indignation and anger my [will be] on destruction their.
Koeʻuhi ʻe toetoe siʻi pea ʻe ngata ʻa hoku tuputāmaki, pea mo hoku houhau, ka te u fakaʻauha ʻakinautolu.
26 And he will wield on it Yahweh of hosts a whip like [the] defeat of Midian at [the] rock of Oreb and staff his [will be] over the sea and he will raise it in [the] manner of Egypt.
Pea ʻe hiki hake ʻe Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau ʻae meʻa tautea ʻo hangē ko e fakaʻauha ʻa Mitiane ʻi he maka ko Olepi: pea tatau mo ʻene tokotoko naʻe ai ki he tahi, ʻe pehē ʻa ʻene hiki hake ia ʻo hangē ko ia naʻe fai ki ʻIsipite.
27 And it will be - in the day that it will be removed burden its from on shoulder your and yoke its from on neck your and it will be broken [the] yoke because of fatness.
Pea ʻe hoko pehē, ʻi he ʻaho ko ia, ʻe toʻo ʻene kavenga mei ho uma, mo ʻene haʻamonga mei ho kia, pea ʻe maumauʻi ʻae haʻamonga mei homou uma.”
28 He has come to Aiath he has passed in Migron to Micmash he deposits baggage his.
Kuo haʻu ia ki ʻAiata, kuo ʻalu atu ia ki Mikiloni; kuo ne tānaki ʻene ngaahi saliote ʻi Mikimasi:
29 They have passed over [the] pass Geba [will be] a lodging place for us it has trembled Ramah Gibeah of Saul it has fled.
Kuo nau laka ʻi he potu fāsiʻi: kuo nau nofo ʻi Kepa; ʻoku manavahē ʻa Lama; pea kuo hola ʻa Kipea ʻo Saula.
30 Cry aloud voice your O daughter of Gallim pay attention O Laishah O afflicted [one] Anathoth.
‌ʻE ʻofefine ʻo Kalimi, hiki hake ho leʻo: fai ke ongo atu ia ki Leisi, ʻE ʻAnatoti masiva.
31 It has fled Madmenah [the] inhabitants of Gebim they have taken refuge.
Kuo ʻave ʻa Matemena; ʻoku fakataha ʻakinautolu ʻe he kakai ʻe Kepime ke nau hola.
32 Yet this day at Nob to stand he will shake hand his [the] mountain of ([the] daughter of *Q(K)*) Zion [the] hill of Jerusalem.
Te ne nofo pe ia ʻi he ʻaho ni ʻi Nope: te ne lulululu hono nima ki he moʻunga ʻoe ʻofefine ʻo Saione, ʻae moʻunga ʻo Selūsalema.
33 There! the lord Yahweh of hosts [is] about to lop off bough[s] with a crash and [the] exalted [ones] of height [will be] cut down and the tall [ones] they will become low.
Vakai, ko e ʻEiki, ko Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau, te ne tuʻusi ʻae vaʻa ʻaki ʻae manavahē lahi: pea ko kinautolu ʻoku māʻolunga ʻe tā hifo, pea ko e fielahi ʻe fakavaivaiʻi.
34 And he will cut down [the] thickets of the forest with iron [axe] and the Lebanon by a mighty [one] it will fall.
Pea te ne tuʻusi ki lalo ʻae ngaahi potu ʻakau matolu ʻoe vao lahi ʻaki ʻae ukamea, pea ʻe tō ki lalo ʻa Lepanoni ʻi ha taha mālohi.
