Hosea 7
1 When heal I Israel and it is revealed [the] iniquity of Ephraim and [the] evil deeds of Samaria for they do falsehood and a thief he comes it attacks a marauding band in the street.
Quand je guérirais Israël, alors l'iniquité d'Ephraïm est découverte, aussi la méchanceté de Samarie; car ils commettent des mensonges, et le voleur entre, et la bande de voleurs fait des ravages à l'extérieur.
2 And not they say to heart their all evil their I remember now they have surrounded them deeds their before face my they are.
Ils ne considèrent pas dans leur cœur que je me souviens de toute leur méchanceté. Maintenant, leurs propres actes les ont engloutis. Ils sont devant mon visage.
3 By evil their they make glad [the] king and by lies their princes.
Ils réjouissent le roi par leur méchanceté, et les princes avec leurs mensonges.
4 All of them [are] adulterers like an oven burning from a baker [who] he ceases stirring up from kneading [the] dough until is leavened it.
Ils sont tous adultères. Ils brûlent comme un four que le boulanger cesse de remuer, du pétrissage de la pâte, jusqu'à ce qu'elle soit levée.
5 [the] day of King our they became sick princes fever from wine he stretched out hand his with scorners.
Le jour de notre roi, les princes se sont rendus malades par la chaleur du vin. Il a joint sa main à celle des moqueurs.
6 For they have brought near like oven heart their in ambush their all the night [is] sleeping baker their morning it [is] burning like a fire of flame.
Car ils ont préparé leur cœur comme un four, pendant qu'ils sont à l'affût. Leur colère couve toute la nuit. Au matin, il brûle comme un feu ardent.
7 All of them they are hot like oven and they devour rulers their all kings their they have fallen there not [is one who] calls among them to me.
Ils sont tous aussi chauds qu'un four, et dévoreront leurs juges. Tous leurs rois sont tombés. Il n'y a personne parmi eux qui m'appelle.
8 Ephraim among the peoples he he mixes himself Ephraim he has become a bread cake not turned over.
Ephraïm se mêle aux nations. Ephraïm est une crêpe non retournée.
9 They have consumed strangers strength his and he not he knows also gray hair it has sneaked in on him and he not he knows.
Des étrangers ont dévoré sa force, et il ne le réalise pas. En effet, les cheveux gris sont ici et là sur lui, et il ne le réalise pas.
10 And it testifies [the] pride of Israel in face its and not they have returned to Yahweh God their and not they have sought him for all this.
L'orgueil d'Israël témoigne de sa face; mais ils ne sont pas retournés à Yahvé, leur Dieu, ni ne l'a cherché, pour tout cela.
11 And he has become Ephraim like a dove silly there not [is] heart Egypt they have called Assyria they have gone.
« Ephraïm est comme une colombe facile à tromper, sans intelligence. Ils appellent l'Égypte. Ils vont en Assyrie.
12 Just when they will go I will spread over them net my like [the] bird[s] of the heavens I will bring down them I will chasten them according to a report to assembly their.
Quand ils partiront, j'étendrai mon filet sur eux. Je les ferai tomber comme les oiseaux du ciel. Je les châtierai, comme l'a entendu leur assemblée.
13 Woe! to them for they have fled from me devastation [belongs] to them for they have transgressed against me and I I will redeem them and they they have spoken on me lies.
Malheur à eux! Car ils se sont éloignés de moi. Destruction pour eux! Car ils m'ont offensé. Bien que je les rachète, mais ils ont dit des mensonges contre moi.
14 And not they have cried out to me with heart their if they wail on beds their on grain and new wine they assemble themselves they turn aside against me.
Ils n'ont pas crié vers moi avec leur cœur, mais ils hurlent sur leur lit. Ils s'assemblent pour le grain et le vin nouveau. Ils se détournent de moi.
15 And I I instructed [them] I strengthened arms their and against me they plot evil.
Bien que j'aie enseigné et fortifié leurs bras, mais ils complotent le mal contre moi.
16 They turn - not height they have become like a bow of slackness they will fall by the sword leaders their from [the] indignation of tongue their this [will be] mockery their in [the] land of Egypt.
Ils reviennent, mais pas vers le Très-Haut. Ils sont comme un arc défectueux. Leurs princes tomberont par l'épée à cause de la rage de leur langue. Ce sera leur dérision dans le pays d'Égypte.
