Hosea 12
1 Ephraim [is] feeding wind and [is] pursuing an east wind all the day falsehood and violence he increases and a covenant with Assyria they are making and oil to Egypt it is carried.
Efraím es apacentado del viento, y sigue al solano; mentira y destrucción aumenta continuamente; porque hicieron alianza con los Asirios, y aceite se lleva a Egipto.
2 And a case at law [belongs] to Yahweh with Judah and to visit [judgment] on Jacob according to ways his according to deeds his he will repay to him.
Pleito tiene Jehová con Judá, para visitar a Jacob conforme a sus caminos: pagarle ha conforme a sus obras.
3 In the womb he took by [the] heel brother his and in manly vigor his he struggled with God.
En el vientre tomó por el calcañar a su hermano; y con su fortaleza venció al ángel:
4 And he struggled against an angel and he prevailed he wept and he sought favor to him Beth-el he found him and there he spoke with us.
Y venció al ángel, y prevaleció: lloró, y rogóle: en Bet-el le halló, y allí habló con nosotros.
5 And Yahweh [the] God of hosts Yahweh [is] memorial his.
Mas Jehová es Dios de los ejércitos, Jehová es su memorial.
6 And you in God your you will return loyalty and justice keep and wait to God your continually.
Tú pues a tu Dios te convierte, guarda misericordia y juicio, y en tu Dios espera siempre.
7 Canaan [who are] in hand his scales of deceit to defraud he loves.
Mercader que tiene en su mano peso falso, amador de opresión.
8 And he has said Ephraim surely I have become rich I have found wealth for myself all toil my not people will find to me iniquity which [is] sin.
Y dijo Efraím: Ciertamente yo he enriquecido: hallado he riquezas para mí: nadie hallará en mí iniquidad, ni pecado en todos mis trabajos.
9 And I [have been] Yahweh God your from [the] land of Egypt again I will cause to dwell you in tents like [the] days of an appointed feast.
Yo pues soy Jehová tu Dios desde la tierra de Egipto, aun te haré morar en tiendas, como en los días de la fiesta.
10 And I spoke to the prophets and I vision[s] I multiplied and by [the] hand of the prophets I gave parables.
Y hablé a los profetas, y yo aumenté la profecía; y por mano de los profetas puse semejanzas.
11 [is] Gilead Wickedness surely worthlessness they are in Gilgal bulls they have sacrificed also altars their [are] like heaps of stones on [the] furrows of a field.
¿Galaad no es iniquidad? Ciertamente vanidad han sido: en Galaad sacrificaron bueyes; y aun sus altares como montones en los surcos del campo.
12 And he fled Jacob [the] region of Aram and he served Israel for a wife and for a wife he kept [flocks].
Y Jacob huyó en la tierra de Aram, y sirvió Israel por su mujer, y por su mujer fue pastor.
13 And by a prophet he brought up Yahweh Israel from Egypt and by a prophet he was kept.
Y por profeta hizo subir Jehová a Israel de Egipto, y por profeta fue guardado.
14 He has provoked to anger Ephraim bitterness and blood his on him he will leave and reproach his he will repay to him lord his.
Enojó Efraím a Dios con amarguras: por tanto sus sangres se derramarán sobre él, y su Señor le pagará su vergüenza.
