Hebrews 12
1 Therefore also we ourselves such a great having encompassing us a cloud of witnesses, weight having laid aside every and the easily entangling sin, with endurance may run the lying before us race
Nous donc aussi, puisque nous sommes environnés d'une si grande nuée de témoins, rejetant tout fardeau, et le péché qui nous entrave fort, courons avec persévérance dans la carrière qui nous est ouverte,
2 looking to the of [our] faith founder and perfecter Jesus, who in view of what is lying before Him joy endured [the] cross [its] shame having despised, at right hand and of the throne of God (has sat down. *N(k)O*)
les yeux fixés sur Jésus, l'auteur et le consommateur de la foi: lui qui, en vue de la joie qui lui était offerte, a souffert la croix, méprisé l'ignominie, et «s'est assis à la droite du trône de Dieu.»
3 do consider fully for the [One] such great having endured from sinners against (Himself *N(k)(O)*) hostility, so that not you may grow weary in the souls of you fainting.
Considérez bien celui qui a supporté une telle opposition de la part des pécheurs, afin que vous ne vous lassiez point en abandonnant vos coeurs au découragement.
4 Not yet unto blood have you resisted against sin struggling
Vous n'avez pas encore résisté jusqu'au sang dans votre lutte contre le péché,
5 and you have forgotten the exhortation that you as to sons addresses: Son of Mine, not do regard lightly [the] discipline of [the] Lord, nor do faint by Him being reproved.
et vous avez oublié l'exhortation de Dieu qui vous dit comme à des fils: «Mon fils, ne méprise point le châtiment du Seigneur, et ne perds point courage, lorsqu'il te reprend;
6 Whom for He loves [the] Lord disciplines, He scourges now every son whom He receives.
car le Seigneur châtie celui qu'il aime, et il frappe de ses verges tous ceux qu'il reconnaît pour ses fils.»
7 As discipline endure, as sons you is treating God; what for (is *k*) son [is there] whom not disciplines [his] father?
Si vous endurez le châtiment, c'est que Dieu vous traite comme des fils, car quel est le fils que son père ne châtie pas?
8 If however without you are of discipline of which partakers they have become all, then illegitimate children and not sons you are.
Si vous êtes exempts du châtiment auquel tous ont eu part, vous êtes donc des enfants illégitimes, et non de vrais fils.
9 Furthermore indeed of the flesh of us fathers we were having correctors and we were respecting [them]; not (much *N(k)O*) (however *n*) more will we be in subjection to the Father of spirits and will live?
D'ailleurs, si nous avons eu du respect pour nos pères selon la chair, lorsqu'ils nous châtiaient, ne devons-nous pas, à bien plus forte raison, être soumis au Père des esprits pour avoir la vie?
10 Indeed for during a few days according to which is seeming good to them they were disciplining [us], [He] however for which is [our] benefitting in order to share of the holiness of Him.
Quant à nos pères, ils nous châtiaient pour un peu de temps, comme il leur semblait bon; mais Dieu nous châtie pour notre bien, afin de nous rendre participants de sa sainteté.
11 All (now *NK(o)*) discipline for indeed those being present not it seems of joy to be but of grief, afterward however [the] fruit peaceable to those through it trained it yields of righteousness.
Il est vrai que tout châtiment semble, au premier moment, un sujet de tristesse, et non pas de joie; mais, plus tard, il produit pour ceux qui ont été ainsi exercés, un fruit paisible de justice.
12 Therefore the drooped hands and the enfeebled knees do lift up,
En conséquence, raffermissez les mains qui sont défaillantes et les genoux qui sont chancelants;
13 and paths straight (do make *N(k)O*) for the feet of you, so that not the lame may be disabled, may be healed however rather.
faites suivre à vos pieds le chemin droit, afin que ce qui est boiteux, au lieu de se disloquer, se rétablisse.
14 Peace do pursue with all and holiness, which without no [one] will behold the Lord;
Recherchez la paix avec tout le monde, et la sanctification sans laquelle personne ne verra le Seigneur.
15 observing lest any be failing of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness up springing may trouble [you], and through (this *N(k)O*) may be defiled (*o*) many;
Veillez à ce que personne ne se détourne de la grâce de Dieu; à ce qu'aucune racine vénéneuse venant à pousser, n'incommode et n'empoisonne la plupart d’entre vous.
16 lest [there be] any fornicator or profane person as Esau, who for meal one sold the birthright (of himself. *N(k)O*)
Qu'il n'y ait point de libertin parmi vous, ni de profane comme Ésaü, qui vendit son droit d'aînesse pour un simple mets:
17 You know for that even afterward wishing to inherit the blessing he was rejected; of repentance for place not he found although with tears having earnestly sought it.
vous savez que, plus tard, lorsqu'il voulut obtenir la bénédiction de son père, il fut repoussé, et ne put le faire changer de sentiment, bien qu'il le suppliât avec larmes.
18 Not for you have come to [that] being touched (mountain *K*) and kindled with fire and to darkness and (to gloom *N(k)O*) and to storm
Vous ne vous êtes pas approchés d'une montagne qu'on puisse toucher de la main et que le feu embrase, ni de l'obscurité, ni des ténèbres, ni d'une tempête,
19 and of a trumpet to [the] sound and to a voice of declaration which those having heard they excused themselves [asking] not to be addressed to them [the] word;
ni du bruit des trompettes, ni d'une voix si retentissante que ceux qui l'entendirent demandèrent qu'on ne leur adressât pas une parole de plus,
20 not [able] they were bearing for which is being commanded: If even If even a beast shall touch the mountain, it will be stoned (or with arrow will be shot down *K*)
car ils ne pouvaient supporter cette menace: «Toute bête même qui touchera cette montagne, sera lapidée»
21 And thus fearful was the [thing] appearing [that] Moses said; Greatly afraid I am and trembling;
et ce spectacle était si terrible que Moïse lui-même dit: «Je suis épouvanté et tout tremblant.»
22 But you have come to Zion Mount and to [the] city of God [the] living, to Jerusalem [the] heavenly and to myriads of angels
Mais vous vous êtes approchés de la montagne de Sion, de la cité du Dieu vivant, qui est la Jérusalem céleste, du choeur joyeux des myriades d'anges,
23 to [the] assembly and to [the] church of [the] firstborn enrolled in [the] heavens and to [the] judge God of all and to [the] spirits of [the] righteous perfected
de l'assemblée des premiers-nés dont les noms sont inscrits dans le ciel, du Juge, le Dieu de tous, des esprits des justes exaltés,
24 and of a covenant new [the] mediator to Jesus and to [the] blood of sprinkling (better thing *N(K)O*) speaking than that of Abel.
de Jésus, le médiateur de la nouvelle alliance, et du sang de l'aspersion, qui dit de meilleures choses que celui d'Abel.
25 do take heed lest you may refuse the [One] speaking; If for they not (escaped *N(k)O*) on (*k*) earth having refused the [One] divinely instructing [them], (much *N(k)O*) less we ourselves the [One] from [the] heavens turning away from,
Prenez garde de refuser d'écouter Celui qui vous parle; car si les Israélites n'échappèrent point à la punition, pour avoir refusé d'écouter Celui qui dictait ses oracles sur la terre, combien moins pourrons-nous échapper, si nous le repoussons quand il parle des cieux:
26 whose voice the earth shook at that time, now however He has promised saying; Yet once [more] I myself (will shake *N(k)O*) not only the earth but also heaven.
Lui, dont la voix alors ébranla la terre, mais qui a fait pour le temps où nous sommes, cette promesse: «J'ébranlerai une fois encore, non seulement la terre, mais aussi le ciel, »
27 This now Yet once [more], signifies that of the [things] being shaken removing as created, so that may remain the [things] not being shaken.
Ces mots, «une fois encore, » indiquent clairement le changement des choses qui vont être ébranlées, comme étant une création passagère, afin que celles qui ne doivent pas être ébranlées, demeurent éternellement.
28 Therefore a kingdom not to be shaken receiving we may have grace through which (we may serve *NK(o)*) well pleasingly God with reverence and (fear; *N(k)O*)
Puis donc que nous allons entrer en possession d'un royaume qui ne sera point ébranlé, soyons pénétrés d'une reconnaissance qui nous fasse servir Dieu d'une manière qui lui soit agréable, avec respect et avec crainte;
29 Also for the God of us [is] a fire consuming.
car notre Dieu est aussi un feu dévorant.
