Haggai 1
1 In year two of Darius the king in the month sixth on day one of the month it came [the] word of Yahweh by [the] hand of Haggai the prophet to Zerubbabel [the] son of Shealtiel [the] governor of Judah and to Joshua [the] son of Jehozadak the priest great saying.
Boqor Daariyus sannaddiisii labaad, bisheedii lixaad, maalinteedii kowaad ayaa eraygii Rabbigu u yimid Nebi Xaggay, oo waxaa loogu soo dhiibay Serubaabel ina Salaatii'eel oo ahaa taliyihii dalka Yahuudah, iyo Yashuuca ina Yehoosaadaaq oo ahaa wadaadka sare, oo wuxuu ku yidhi,
2 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts saying the people this they have said not a time to come [the] time of [the] house of Yahweh to be rebuilt.
Rabbiga ciidammadu sidanuu u hadlaa oo wuxuu leeyahay, Dadkanu waxay yidhaahdaan, Wakhtigii weli lama gaadhin, wakhtigii guriga Rabbiga la dhisi lahaa weli lama gaadhin.
3 And it came [the] word of Yahweh by [the] hand of Haggai the prophet saying.
Markaasaa eraygii Rabbigu u yimid Nebi Xaggay oo wuxuu yidhi,
4 ¿ [does] a time [belong] to You you to dwell in houses your covered and the house this [is] desolate.
Ma idiin tahay wakhti aad ku hoyataan guryihiinna saqafka loo yeelay, iyadoo guriganu uu dunsan yahay?
5 And therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts set heart your on ways your.
Haddaba Rabbiga ciidammadu wuxuu leeyahay, Jidadkiinna ka fiirsada.
6 You have sown much and you have brought little you have eaten and not to satiety you have drunk and not to become drunk you have dressed and not to be warm to him and the [one who] earns wages [is] earning wages to a bag pierced.
Wax badan baad beerateen, laakiinse in yar baad soo gurateen, wax baad cuntaan, laakiinse innaba kama dheregtaan, wax baad cabtaan, laakiinse innaba kama wabaxdaan, dhar baad xidhataan, laakiinse innaba ma diirsataan, oo kii mushahaaro soo qaataana wuxuu mushahaarada u soo qaata inuu kiish daloolan ku rito.
7 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts set heart your on ways your.
Haddaba Rabbiga ciidammadu wuxuu leeyahay, Jidadkiinna ka fiirsada.
8 Go up the hill country and you will bring wood and rebuild the house so I may take pleasure in it (so let me be honored *Q(K)*) he says Yahweh.
Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Buurta fuula, oo alwaax ka keena, oo guriga dhisa, oo anna waan ku farxi doonaa, oo kolkaasaan ammaanmi doonaa.
9 You turned to look to much and there! little and you brought [it] the house and I blew on it because of what? [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts because of house my which it [is] desolate and you [are] running each to own house his.
Rabbiga ciidammadu wuxuu leeyahay, Waxaad filanayseen wax badan, laakiinse waxay noqdeen in yar, oo markaad intaas gurigii keenteenna anigu waan afuufay. Waa maxay sababtu? Maxaa yeelay, gurigaygii baa dunsan oo idinkana midkiin kastaaba wuxuu u ordaa gurigiisa.
10 There-fore on you they have withheld ([the] heavens *L(abh)*) from dew and the land it has withheld produce its.
Haddaba idinka daraaddiin ayaa samadii u diidday sayaxeedii oo dhulkiina wuu diiday midhihiisii.
11 And I have summoned a drought on the land and on the mountains and on the grain and on the new wine and on the fresh oil and on [that] which it will bring forth the ground and on humankind and on the livestock and on all [the] toil of hands.
Oo anigu abaar baan u yeedhay, oo waxaan ku soo dejiyey dhulka, iyo buuraha, iyo hadhuudhka, iyo khamriga, iyo saliidda, iyo waxaa dhulka ka soo baxa, iyo dadka, iyo duunyada, iyo hawsha gacmaha oo dhan.
12 And he listened Zerubbabel - [the] son of Shealtiel and Joshua [the] son of Jehozadak the priest great and all - [the] remnant of the people to [the] voice of Yahweh God their and to [the] words of Haggai the prophet just as he had sent him Yahweh God their and they were afraid the people of Yahweh.
Markaasaa Serubaabel ina Salaatii'eel, iyo wadaadkii sare oo ahaa Yashuuca ina Yehoosaadaaq, iyo dadka intiisii hadhay oo dhammu waxay addeeceen codkii Rabbiga Ilaahooda ah, iyo erayadii Nebi Xaggay, waayo, Rabbiga Ilaahooda ah ayaa isaga soo diray, oo dadkiina Rabbiga hortiisa ayaa cabsi ku gashay.
13 And he said Haggai [the] messenger of Yahweh by [the] message of Yahweh to the people saying I [am] with you [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Markaasaa Xaggay oo ahaa wargeeyihii Rabbiga dadkii u sheegay farriintii Rabbiga, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Anigu waan idinla joogaa.
14 And he stirred up Yahweh [the] spirit of Zerubbabel [the] son of Shealtiel [the] governor of Judah and [the] spirit of Joshua [the] son of Jehozadak the priest great and [the] spirit of all [the] remnant of the people and they came and they did work in [the] house of Yahweh of hosts God their.
Kolkaasaa Rabbigu kiciyey ruuxii Serubaabel ina Salaatii'eel oo ahaa taliyihii dalka Yahuudah, iyo ruuxii Yashuuca ina Yehoosaadaaq oo ahaa wadaadka sare, iyo ruuxii dadka intiisa hadhay oo dhanba, oo intay yimaadeen ayay ka shaqeeyeen gurigii Rabbiga ciidammada oo Ilaahooda ah,
15 On day twenty and four of the month in the sixth [month] in year two of Darius the king.
