Habakkuk 1
1 The oracle which he saw Habakkuk the prophet.
अगमवक्ता हबकूकले पाएका सन्देश,
2 Until when? O Yahweh have I cried for help and not you will hear I cry out to you violence and not you save.
“परमप्रभु, म कति समय अझै सहायताको निम्ति पुकारूँ, तर तपाईंले सुन्नुहुन्न? म ‘हिंसा’ भनेर तपाईंलाई पुकार्दछु, तर तपाईंले बचाउनुहुन्न ।
3 Why? do you make see me wickedness and mischief do you look at? and devastation and violence [are] to before me and it has been strife and contention it arises.
मलाई किन अपराध र दुष्कर्म देखाउनुहुन्छ? सर्वनाश र हिंसा मेरो सामुन्ने छन् । त्यहाँ झैँ-झगडा छ, र विवाद चर्किंदै छ ।
4 There-fore it grows numb [the] law and not it comes forth to perpetuity justice for [the] wicked [is] surrounding the righteous [person] there-fore it comes forth justice perverted.
यसैकारण कानून-व्यवस्था कमजोर भएको छ, र न्याय अब छैन । किनकि दुष्टले धर्मीलाई घेर्दछ । यसैकारण इन्साफ झुटो भएको छ ।” परमप्रभु हबकूकलाई जवाफ दिनुहुन्छ ।
5 See among the nations and look and be astounded be astonished for a deed [I am] about to do in days your [which] not you will believe if it will be recounted.
“जाति-जातिहरूलाई हेर् र तिनीहरूको जाँच गर्, अचम्मित, र आश्चर्यचकित हो! किनभने निश्चय नै तेरै समयमा म यस्तो काम गर्दै छु जसको विषयमा तँलाई बताइँदा तँलाई विश्वास लाग्नेछैन ।
6 For here I [am] about to raise up the Chaldeans the nation bitter and impetuous which goes to [the] expanses of [the] earth to take possession of dwellings [which] not [belong] to it.
किनभने हेर्, म बेबिलोनीहरूलाई उठाउँदै छु, त्यो भयानक र उग्र जाति । तिनीहरू सारा भुमिमा अर्काको बासस्थान खोस्नको निम्ति अगि बढिरहेका छन् ।
7 [is] terrifying And awesome it from itself justice its and dignity its it comes forth.
तिनीहरू डरलाग्दा र भयानक छन् । न्याय र वैभव तिनीहरूबाटै अगाडि बढ्छ ।
8 And they are swift more than leopards horses its and they are keen more than wolves of [the] evening and they paw [the] ground warhorses its and horsemen its from a distance they come they fly like an eagle making haste to devour.
तिनीहरूका घोडाहरू चितुवाभन्दा तेज, र साँझका ब्वाँसाहरूभन्दा द्रुत छन् । यसैकारण तिनीहरूका घोडाहरूले जमिनमा कुल्चन्छन्, र तिनीहरूका घोडचढीहरू टाढा-टाढाबाट आउँछन्, र तिनीहरू शिकारलाई खानको निम्ति आतुर भएको गरुडझैँ उड्छन् ।
9 All of it for violence it comes [the] totality of faces their [is] east-ward and it gathered like sand captive[s].
तिनीहरू सबै हिंसाको निम्ति आउँछन् । तिनीहरूको समुहहरू मरुभूमिको हुरीझैँ जान्छन्, र बालुवासरह कैदीहरू ल्याउँछन् ।
10 And it kings it derides and rulers [are] laughter to it it at every fortress it laughs and it heaped up earth and it captured it.
यसैकारण तिनीहरूले राजाहरूलाई जिस्काउँछन्, र शासकहरू तिनीहरूका निम्ति हाँसोका पात्र मात्र हुन् । हरेक किल्लाहरू देखेर तिनीहरू हाँस्छन्, किनभने तिनीहरूले माटोको ढिस्को बनाएर ती लैजान्छन् ।
11 Then it swept on a wind and it passed on and he is guilty [the one] who strength his [becomes] god his.
अनि बतास आउनेछ र दोषी मानिसहरूबाट त्यो जानेछ, ती मनिसहरू जसको सामर्थ्य तिनीहरूको देवता हो ।” हबकूकले परमप्रभुलाई अर्को प्रश्न गर्छन्,
12 ¿ Not [are] you from antiquity O Yahweh God my holy [one] my not we will die O Yahweh to judgment you have appointed it and O rock to reprove you have established it.
“परमप्रभु मेरा परमेश्वर, मेरा एक मात्र पवित्र परमेश्वर, के तपाईं प्राचीन समयदेखि नै हुनुहुन्न र? हामी मर्नेछैनौँ । परमप्रभुले तिनीहरूलाई न्यायको निम्ति नियुक्त गर्नुभएको छ, र हे चट्टान, तपाईंले तिनीहरूलाई सुधारको निम्ति स्थापित गर्नुभएको छ ।
13 [you are too] pure of Eyes for seeing evil and to look to mischief not you are able why? do you look at treacherous [people] are you silent? when swallows up a wicked [person] a [person] righteous more than him.
तपाईंका आँखा यति शुद्ध छन्, कि तपाईं दुष्टलाई हेर्नुहुन्न, र तपाईंले गलत काम गर्नेलाई कृपाले हेर्न सक्नुहुन्न । त्यसोभए किन तपाईंले धोका दिनेलाई कृपाले हेर्नुभएको छ? दुष्टहरूले तिनीहरूको आफ्नो सङ्ख्याभन्दा धेरै धर्मीहरूलाई निल्दा तपाईं किन चुप बस्नुभएको छ?
14 And you have made humankind like [the] fish of the sea like creeping thing[s] [which] not a ruler [is] over it.
तपाईंले मानिसलाई समुद्रका माछाझैँ बनाउनुहुन्छ, घस्रने जीवहरूझैँ जसको कुनै शासक छैन ।
15 All of it with a fish hook he brings up he drags away it in net his and he gathers it in fishing net his there-fore he rejoices and he may be glad.
त्यसले सबैलाई बल्छीले ल्याउँछ । त्यसले मानिसहरूलाई माछी-जालमा पारेर पर लैजान्छ । त्यसले महाजालमा सबैलाई थुपार्छ, अनि त्यो खुशी हुन्छ र रमाहट गर्दछ ।
16 There-fore he sacrifices to net his so he may make smoke to fishing net his for by them [is] fat portion his and food his [is] fat.
त्यसैकारण त्यसले आफ्नो माछी-जालमा बलि चढाउँछ र महाजालमा धूप बाल्छ, किनभने आफ्नो जालद्धारा त्यो विलासितामा जिउँछ, र त्यसको भोजन उत्तम हुन्छ ।
17 ¿ There-fore will he empty net his and continually to kill nations not will he spare?
के त्यसले यसैकारण आफ्नो जाल रित्त्याउँदै जान्छ, र जाति-जातिहरूलाई निर्दयतापूर्वक काटिरहन्छ?”
