Habakkuk 2
1 At post my I will stand and I will take my stand on [the] fortification so I may watch to see what? will he speak by me and what? will I bring back on complaint my.
Auf meine Warte will ich treten und mich stellen auf den Turm, damit ich erspähe und sehe, was er mir sagen wird und was für eine Antwort ich auf meine Klage bekommen werde.
2 And he answered me Yahweh and he said write down [the] vision and make [it] clear on the tablets so that he may run [one who] reads it.
Da antwortete mir der HERR und sprach: Schreibe das Gesicht nieder und grabe es auf Tafeln, damit man es geläufig lesen kann!
3 For still [the] vision [is] for the appointed time and it will pant to the end and not it will lie if it will delay wait for it for surely it will come not it will delay.
Denn das Gesicht gilt noch für die bestimmte Zeit und eilt dem Ende zu und wird nicht trügen; wenn es verzieht, so harre seiner, denn es wird gewiß kommen und sich nicht verspäten.
4 There! it is swollen not it is upright self his in him and [the] righteous by faithfulness his he will live.
Siehe, der Aufgeblasene, unaufrichtig ist seine Seele in ihm; aber der Gerechte wird durch seinen Glauben leben.
5 And also for wine [is] treacherous a man arrogant and [who] not he stays at home who he has made large like Sheol throat his and he [is] like death and not he is satisfied and he has gathered to himself all the nations and he has assembled to himself all the peoples. (Sheol h7585)
Und dazu kommt noch der tückische Wein. Der Mann wird übermütig und bleibt nicht ruhig; er wird so begehrlich wie der Scheol und unersättlich wie der Tod, daß er alle Völker zu sich sammeln und alle Nationen an sich ziehen will. (Sheol h7585)
6 ¿ Not these [nations] all of them on him a saying will they lift up and a mocking song riddles to him so may someone say? woe to! the [one who] increases [that which] not [belongs] to him until when? and [one who] makes heavy on himself pledge[s].
Werden nicht diese alle einen Spruch über ihn machen und ein Spottlied in Rätseln auf ihn dichten? Man wird sagen: Wehe dem, der sich bereichert mit fremdem Gut (wie lange noch?), der sich mit Pfandgut beschwert!
7 ¿ Not suddenly will they arise [those who] pay interest to you and may they awake? [those who will] make tremble you and you will become plunder for them.
Werden nicht plötzlich aufstehen, die dich betreiben werden, und aufwachen, die dich peinigen werden, so daß du ihnen zur Beute wirst?
8 For you you have plundered nations many they will plunder you all [the] rest of [the] peoples from [the] blood of humankind and [the] violence of [the] land of [the] town and all [those who] dwell in it.
Denn wie du viele Völker geplündert hast, so sollen alle übriggebliebenen Völker dich plündern wegen des vergossenen Menschenblutes und der Vergewaltigung des Landes, der Stadt und aller ihrer Bewohner!
9 Woe to! [one who] gains unjust gain evil for house his to set on the high places nest his to deliver himself from [the] hand of harm.
Wehe dem, der nach bösem Gewinn trachtet für sein Haus, um dann sein Nest in der Höhe anzulegen und sicher zu sein vor der Hand des Bösewichts!
10 You have planned shame for house your by cutting off peoples many and [you have] sinned self your.
Du hast beschlossen, was deinem Haus zur Schande gereicht, die Vertilgung vieler Völker, und durch deine Sünden hast du deine Seele verwirkt.
11 For a stone from [the] wall it will cry out and a rafter from [the] wood it will answer it.
Ja, der Stein wird aus der Mauer heraus schreien und die Sparre im Holzwerk ihm antworten.
12 Woe to! [one who] builds a city by blood and he establishes a town by injustice.
Wehe dem, der die Stadt mit Blut baut und die Burg mit Ungerechtigkeit befestigt!
13 ¿ [is it] not There! from with Yahweh of hosts so they may labor peoples for [the] sufficiency of fire and nations for [the] sufficiency of vanity they grow weary.
Siehe, kommt es nicht vom HERRN der Heerscharen, daß Völker fürs Feuer arbeiten und Nationen für nichts sich abmühen?
14 For it will be filled the earth to know [the] glory of Yahweh like waters [which] they cover over [the] sea.
Denn die Erde wird voll werden der Erkenntnis der Herrlichkeit des HERRN, gleichwie die Wasser den Meeresgrund bedecken.
15 Woe to! [one who] makes drink neighbor his [you are] pouring out rage your and even you make [them] drunk so as to look on nakedness their.
Wehe dem, der seinem Nächsten zu trinken gibt aus dem Becher seines Grimms und ihn sogar trunken macht, damit er seine Blöße sehe!
16 You are satisfied shame more than honor drink also you and be counted as uncircumcised it will come round to you [the] cup of [the] right [hand] of Yahweh and disgrace [will be] over honor your.
Du hast dich von Schande gesättigt, statt von Ehre; so trinke auch du und entblöße dich. Die Reihe wird auch an dich kommen, den Becher zu nehmen aus der rechten Hand des HERRN, und Schande wird fallen auf deine Herrlichkeit.
17 For [the] violence of Lebanon it will cover you and [the] devastation of animals it will terrify them from [the] blood of humankind and [the] violence of [the] land of [the] town and all [those who] dwell in it.
Denn der Frevel am Libanon wird auf dir lasten, und die Verheerung der wilden Tiere wird dich schrecken, um des vergossenen Menschenblutes willen und wegen der Vergewaltigung des Landes, der Stadt und aller ihrer Bewohner.
18 What? does it profit a carved image that he has carved it [one who] formed it a molten image and [one which] teaches falsehood for he relies [one who] formed form his on it to make idols dumb.
Was nützt ein gemeißeltes Bild, daß der Bildhauer es geschaffen hat, ein gegossenes Bild und ein Lügenlehrer dazu? Denn der es gemacht hat, vertraut auf sein eigenes Machwerk, so daß er stumme Götzen verfertigt.
19 Woe to! [one who] says to wood wake up! awake to a stone of silence it will it teach? there! it [is] sheathed gold and silver and any breath not [is] within it.
Wehe dem, der zum Holz spricht: «Wache auf!» und zum stummen Stein: «Stehe auf!» Kann er lehren? Siehe, er ist in Gold und Silber gefaßt, und es ist gar kein Geist in ihm!
20 And Yahweh [is] in [the] temple of holiness his hush! from before him all the earth.
Aber der HERR ist in seinem heiligen Tempel, stille sei vor ihm alle Welt!
