Genesis 6
1 And it was that began humankind to become numerous on [the] surface of the ground and daughters they were born to them.
Vả, khi loài người khởi thêm nhiều trên mặt đất, và khi loài người đã sanh được con gái rồi,
2 And they saw [the] sons of God [the] daughters of humankind that [were] good they and they took for themselves wives from all whom they chose.
các con trai của Đức Chúa Trời thấy con gái loài người tốt đẹp, bèn cưới người nào vừa lòng mình mà làm vợ.
3 And he said Yahweh not will remain spirit my in humankind for ever in that also he [is] flesh and they will be days his one hundred and twenty year[s].
Đức Giê-hô-va phán rằng: Thần ta sẽ chẳng hằng ở trong loài người luôn; trong điều lầm lạc, loài người chỉ là xác thịt; đời người sẽ là một trăm hai mươi năm mà thôi.
4 The Nephilim they were on the earth in the days those and also after thus when they went [the] sons of God into [the] daughters of humankind and they bore children to them they [were] the mighty [men] who [were] from long ago [the] men of name.
Đời đó và đời sau, có người cao lớn trên mặt đất, vì con trai Đức Chúa Trời ăn ở cùng con gái loài người mà sanh con cái; ấy những người mạnh dạn ngày xưa là tay anh hùng có danh.
5 And he saw Yahweh that [was] great [the] evil of humankind on the earth and every inclination of [the] thoughts of heart his only [was] evil every day.
Đức Giê-hô-va thấy sự hung ác của loài người trên mặt đất rất nhiều, và các ý tưởng của lòng họ chỉ là xấu luôn;
6 And he regretted Yahweh that he had made humankind on the earth and he was pained to heart his.
thì tự trách đã dựng nên loài người trên mặt đất, và buồn rầu trong lòng.
7 And he said Yahweh I will wipe humankind which I created from on [the] surface of the ground from humankind unto animal[s] unto creeping thing[s] and unto [the] bird[s] of the heavens for I regret that I have made them.
Đức Giê-hô-va phán rằng: Ta sẽ hủy diệt khỏi mặt đất loài người mà ta đã dựng nên, từ loài người cho đến loài súc vật, loài côn trùng, loài chim trời; vì ta tự trách đã dựng nên các loài đó.
8 And Noah he found favor in [the] eyes of Yahweh.
Nhưng Nô-ê được ơn trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va.
9 These [are] [the] accounts of Noah Noah [was] a man righteous blameless he was in generations his with God he walked about Noah.
Nầy là dòng dõi của Nô-ê. Nô-ê trong đời mình là một người công bình và trọn vẹn, đồng đi cùng Đức Chúa Trời.
10 And he fathered Noah three sons Shem Ham and Japheth.
Nô-ê sanh ba con trai là Sem, Cham và Gia-phết.
11 And was corrupt the earth before God and was filled the earth violence.
Thế gian bấy giờ đều bại hoại trước mặt Đức Chúa Trời và đầy dẫy sự hung ác.
12 And he saw God the earth and there! it was corrupt for had corrupted all flesh way its on the earth.
Nầy, Đức Chúa Trời nhìn xem thế gian, thấy điều bại hoại, vì hết thảy xác thịt làm cho đường mình trên đất phải bại hoại.
13 And he said God to Noah [the] end of all flesh [is] coming before me for is full the earth violence because of them and here [am] I about to destroy them with the earth.
Đức Chúa Trời bèn phán cùng Nô-ê rằng: Kỳ cuối cùng của mọi xác thịt đã đưa đến trước mặt ta; vì cớ loài người mà đất phải đầy dẫy điều hung hăng; vậy, ta sẽ diệt-trừ họ cùng đất.
14 Make for yourself an ark of wood of gopher nests you will make the ark and you will cover it from inside and from outside with pitch.
Ngươi hãy đóng một chiếc tàu bằng cây gô-phe, đóng có từng phòng, rồi trét chai bề trong cùng bề ngoài.
15 And this [is] how you will make it [will be] three hundred cubit[s] [the] length of the ark [will be] fifty cubit[s] breadth its and [will be] thirty cubit[s] height its.
Vậy, hãy làm theo thế nầy: Bề dài tàu ba trăm thước, bề ngang năm mươi thước, bề cao ba mươi thước.
16 A roof - you will make for the ark and to a cubit you will finish it from to above and [the] entrance of the ark in side its you will put lower [decks] second [decks] and third [decks] you will make it.
Trên tàu ngươi sẽ làm một cửa sổ, bề cao một thước, và chừa một cửa bên hông; ngươi sẽ làm một từng dưới, một từng giữa và một từng trên.
17 And I here I [am] about to bring the flood water on the earth to destroy all flesh which [is] in it [the] breath of life from under the heavens all that [is] on the earth will die.
Còn ta đây, ta sẽ dẫn nước lụt khắp trên mặt đất, đặng diệt tuyệt các xác thịt có sanh khí ở dưới trời; hết thảy vật chi ở trên mặt đất đều sẽ chết hết.
18 And I will establish covenant my with you and you will go into the ark you and sons your and wife your and [the] wives of sons your with you.
Nhưng ta sẽ lập giao ước cùng ngươi, rồi ngươi và vợ, các con và các dâu của ngươi, đều hãy vào tàu.
19 And of every living [thing] of all flesh two of everything you will bring into the ark to preserve alive with you male and female they will be.
Về các loài sanh vật, ngươi hãy dẫn xuống tàu mỗi loài một cặp, có đực có cái, có trống có mái, hầu cho ở cùng ngươi đặng giữ tròn sự sống;
20 Of the bird[s] to kind its and of the animal[s] to kind its from every creeping thing of the ground to kind its two of everything they will come to you to preserve alive.
chim tùy theo loại, súc vật tùy theo loại, côn trùng tùy theo loại, mỗi thứ hai con, sẽ đến cùng ngươi, để ngươi giữ tròn sự sống cho.
21 And you take for yourself some of all food which is eaten and you will gather [it] to yourself and it will become for you and for them food.
Lại, ngươi hãy lấy các thứ đồ ăn đem theo, đặng để dành làm lương thực cho ngươi và các loài đó.
22 And he did Noah according to all that he commanded him God so he did.
Nô-ê làm các điều nầy y như lời Đức Chúa Trời đã phán dặn.
The World is Destroyed by Water
